The portion of the burger and fries was huge! I got the avocado egg rolls and the Sweet Thai Wings. I wanted to hate the egg rolls because when they came out it's literally just like avocado inside, which is my own fault I assumed it was going to be more like a southwestern egg roll. The only down side is that they left the avocado pit inside one of my egg rolls- I took a picture- which wasn't pleasant to bite down on. I also ordered the wings. They were good. The sweet Thai chili did not taste like Thai chili rather more like a buffalo wing so much so that I wondered if they brought out the wrong wings. I will say I got a bit of an ick because I found feathers on the wings. These are fresh butchered wings so it's understandable but also not my favorite thing to have happened. To note: I think it would have been nice because of the dirty glass for them to have offered a free dessert or something (especially since both our drinks were made wrong but to be honest we didn't tell them that they were) but that's just my personally thought for excellent customer service. The ice cream was great old style in a glass ice cream cup, o' it brought back memories. The other one was creepy, smelled, and I only got the dole whip which was alright nothing I would rush back for. I lived in Port most of my childhood and worked at a deli right down the road and never knew of this place. Now that I am back the one on water st is where to go. Unwashed salad & dry chicken, the elote salad had gummy corn with an aftertaste & dry chicken, chicken and fish tacos just mehhhh, salmon just ok, burgers cooked too well done, soggy onion rings, pizza not good at all. Meanwhile another party that came in 1 hr after us, had all their food even before we had all ours We spoke to the waitress about the service, wasn't blaming her for the service at all, and asked to speak to the manager. Manager never came to talk to us. Eventually one of our family members found out who the manager was and went and spoke to her directly. The manager plainly stated that since there were a few big tables, things like this happens. Things like this should never happen if you had enough staff. And I believe that was the problem, not enough staff in the kitchen and on the floor. Wish I had taken some pics of the food, but it was nothing memorable. If you're a lover of mint chip ice cream like me, you'll love this. It was a sundae that was layered with hot fudge and brownie bites then mint chip ice cream then Oreos followed by more mint chip cream. It was not overly sweet and the brownie bites were really good. My 8 year old got a cookie dough ice cream milkshake and said it was really good. For my littles, they got a kids scoop of hard ice cream. The portion for a little kid was PERFECT. I give the ice cream a 10/10 as well. One of the owners was present and said they purchased the place in August of 2025. They said they're trying to bring customers back, I guess after the old owners may have had some issues. If you live in the area this could easily become a regular restaurant in your rotation of places to go.
