Everything I tried was spectacular, and the folks I encountered were all very chatty and sweet. They had a nicely stocked desert case, and a little cafe eating area. They have a huge variety of fruit wines that are my favorite, especially the spiced peach! Basically this country store has a little bit of something for everyone. More importantly they have that small town, warm and welcoming atmosphere. They have complimentary coffee for visitors, and the staff is super friendly. On my most recent visit I inquired about hot chocolate bombs and while the lady working explained why they do not sell them she helped me figure out where I could get them. I like to bake so we don't usually purchase baked goods, but we do buy the cookies here because they are delicious! This is one of my dog's favorite places. She LOVES cream and the pup cup here is her favorite. It is quite a big size so I usually ask for a small portion of it. She particularly enjoys the peanut butter drizzle on top and likes to sit outside at the picnic tables with us to enjoy it. They offer vegan and gluten free options, which I have not gotten so I am unsure of what they do about any potential cross contamination etc.

I don't make it over to Double Dips often as I live in Buffalo, but when I do, I get a large Cyclone made with vanilla custard, Butterfinger (or Oreo), and cheesecake pieces. The cup is large but the last few times I've ordered this, I've noticed they don't fill the cup all the way, which is a bit of a bummer. Plus, the distribution of mix-ins isn't the most even - Last time all the cheesecake pieces were at the top while all the Butterfinger was at the bottom. Prices are a little higher but in 2026, everything is priced higher and they are THE ice cream spot in Medina. Double Dips posts frequently on Facebook about their weekly special custard and non-dairy custard flavors as well as other ice cream novelty specials. Soft ice cream, peanut butter sauce, and butterfingers. Yum! I opted for no cool whip, peanuts, or cherry, I'm weird I know, but that's why you don't notice any of those in the pictures. Now that that's out of the way, it is a cute, clean ice cream shop that also carries camping staples such as milk & eggs as Golden Hill State Park is nearby. The worker, and possibly owner, was very friendly and efficient. They offer about 16 different hard ice cream flavors and chocolate/vanilla soft serve. It looked like they had a build your own soft serve sundae station, but I didn't see any signage about how that might work. They also offer slushies, floats, blizzards, milkshakes & sundaes. I ordered a Mexican sundae made with nuthouse ice cream in a waffle bowl. It came to less than $6. Their prices are very reasonable. There is no seating inside, but there are picnic tables and some benches on their covered patio. Their parking lot is nicely paved. I think they close for the season in about a week, so hurry up & visit or you'll to wait until next year
