We stopped off the outdoor stand and picked up rye, cinnamon swirl and Italian bread and they all were exceptional! Ty!

We grabbed it, to bring to a big dinner gathering. We knew it was serious when we picked it up - it was a hefty pie! When we cut into it, it was juicy & there was minimal crust - in a really good way. Like a cobbler. So much sweet strawberry filling! The streusel topping was perfectly slightly salty, to balance out the sweet strawberries. And cinnamony. DELICIOUS!! Everyone loved it. I would bet that any pie they bring to the farmers market is fantastic. GET IT.

I looked up some reviews and LynOaken was highly recommended and offered a lot of varieties. A huge bonus was that there was a winery next door! I called in advance to see what the U-pick varieties were for the date I was looking to go because all the varieties are not ready to be picked at once. This year they had an online reservation system set up due to the pandemic. $7 included parking and a small bag of non specialty apples. You could buy more u-pick or prepicked apples on site. When you arrive there is a super cute country store set up with pre picked apples, cider, baked goods, vegetables and other treats. Once you check in there are wagons you can use to lug apples or transport kids which was a nice bonus. The area is large but not too spread out so it's nice to take a family and kids can't go too far. The staff is helpful and knows a lot about their products. Delicious and fresh apples and very clean and well run place. The winery, Leonard Oakes Estates, next door also had outdoor seating. I think there was indoor as well if you wanted. $10 got you 3 generous tastings and an ample choice of charcuterie, nuts, etc. There were a lot of tasty wine and ciders to choose from. Overall a fun day with tons of yummy options to choose from.

Came here for Maple Weekend 2024 and had an awesome experience! They had so many things going on,…read moreincluding a tractor ride, tree tapping demo, animals to pet, maple mead sampling from 810 Meadworks, a huge variety of maple products for sale, and food (maple chili, maple sloppy Joe, maple hot dogs, maple ice cream, maple pancakes, maple cotton candy, maple popcorn, maple donuts, and more!) We bought several maple products including maple peanut butter, maple syrup, maple onion dip mix, and maple meringue drops. Everything was great and I'll definitely come back here for a future maple weekend.

It's early spring, and the question arises again: "Which maple syrup farm will we visit this time?"…read more "Maple Weekend" is an annual event where maple sugar producers open their doors to the public. It's a fun, educational and, of course, sweet time for everyone. Wolf Maple Products Farm was the perfect destination. There was something for everyone. It's definitely a great place for families with children. With a small playground, petting zoo and tractor rides, your kids won't be bored. For us, just being in the countryside was cool. Of course, buying a jug of maple syrup is a must. We also had warm, freshly made maple cream glazed donuts. To make that not enough, we covered each bite with maple soft serve ice cream. It was sweet heaven:). The place is not particularly huge and was rather crowded. The lines to the food section or the tractor ride can be long. But you're outside enjoying the fresh spring air, taking your time to do anything. The weather was perfect, which obviously helped. Next year, check out their Facebook page for more details. They really have a lot to offer.

Lovely little family run, small-ish farm stop for your apples, pumpkins, cider, goodies, slushie…read moreand turkey needs! Wanted to bring my 1.5 Year old somewhere a bit more lowkey than the big wigs in town and also wanted to knock out pumpkins and apple picking at the same time- enter Blackman Homestead Farm. It ticked those boxes and also delicious slushies (apple cider and grape) just a missed opportunity for delicious pastries (hmm cinnamon donuts!) We thank goodness read Darlene's review about making a reservation and did that the day of around noon and was able to get in at 330! The reservation is made online and the farm is FREE to enter (amazing) but can't be changed or cancelled, however you only need it per carload, so unless you're bringing another car, you can tack on extra folks. We purchased some apples we picked (it was pretty low in the season to pick off the trees) and some that were all set for you in bins, a pumpkin, some cider, a tiny pumpkin and were surprised by the price. Gently it was not as expensive as I thought. Parking was quick and easy on a later Saturday afternoon, with a quick Hi to the Turkeys, some exploring around the pumpkins and picking some apples we had a good time after about an hour and half. I did noticed that it was well organized and lots of folks did disregard the signs: don't feed the Turkeys (grass) and pick up the apples you drop off the tree. There were alot of half eaten, throw apples on the ground which made me kind of sad. Please respect someone's rules and property, it's so nice to be able to come see the farm for free, I hope that doesn't change.

There is a small, outdoor shop for cider and fruit already to take home; and many spots to sit and enjoy the view from this escarpment. The helpers are friendly and the offerings are varied. We make this an annual day for picking , always a pleasure.

The farm is connected to Leonard Oaks Winery, as well as a store that sells jams, honey, candy, cider, little cute trinkets and gifts, etc. They also have homemade baked goods for sale as well. The trees aren't as large as some of the other more established orchards, but they get the job done. I like this place because there are so many varieties of apples. They do offer a tractor ride to the orchard, however, it is such a short ride from where you purchase your apple picking bag, that there is really no reason to take the lift. The orchard is set up with wooden signs that are red, yellow and green, letting you know what varieties are safe to pick, or ones that could be picked, or apples that should not be touched. I tried a red signed apple, not realizing it was in the red zone, and I could see why you wouldn't want to eat that one yet. The employees are helpful and friendly. The area where you purchase your apple picking bag also has a bunch of apples that you can purchase without hiking into the orchard. There are also fresh doughnuts (that were extremely yummy,) and popcorn for sale. There is also a sign telling you what apples are ready to be picked. There is a little play area for kids containing houses, and wagons as well.
