They had so many things going on, including a tractor ride, tree tapping demo, animals to pet, maple mead sampling from 810 Meadworks, a huge variety of maple products for sale, and food (maple chili, maple sloppy Joe, maple hot dogs, maple ice cream, maple pancakes, maple cotton candy, maple popcorn, maple donuts, and more!) We bought several maple products including maple peanut butter, maple syrup, maple onion dip mix, and maple meringue drops. It's early spring, and the question arises again: "Which maple syrup farm will we visit this time?" "Maple Weekend" is an annual event where maple sugar producers open their doors to the public. It's a fun, educational and, of course, sweet time for everyone. Wolf Maple Products Farm was the perfect destination. There was something for everyone. It's definitely a great place for families with children. With a small playground, petting zoo and tractor rides, your kids won't be bored. For us, just being in the countryside was cool. Of course, buying a jug of maple syrup is a must. We also had warm, freshly made maple cream glazed donuts. To make that not enough, we covered each bite with maple soft serve ice cream. It was sweet heaven:). The place is not particularly huge and was rather crowded. The lines to the food section or the tractor ride can be long. But you're outside enjoying the fresh spring air, taking your time to do anything. The weather was perfect, which obviously helped. Next year, check out their Facebook page for more details. We went to Stowe, Vermont last summer and while we were there we went to Stowe Maple products. The people who own this are super nice and very helpful to their customers. We were told about all of the different grades of maple syrup and it was explained how they process the sap that they collect from the trees on their farm. We took several types of different grades home and what a treat it was. I never knew maple syrup could taste so good. Now every Sunday in our house is waffle day using the syrup we bought there. We just received another order that we placed. We found that our favorite is the Amber syrup. We also looked around in Stowe just to see what other places charged. No one had prices as low as Stowe maple products farm. Try it and I'm sure you will love it and if you get to Stowe go and meet the owners as they are terrific people. read more

Came for maple weekend so it was busy but the line for the store still moved quickly. In addition to the expected variety of syrup they also had a variety of other maple based food. We bought the onion dip mix to take to a party that night and it was a huge hit. read more

Good time during the annual Maple Weekend. Wolf Farm had a large variety of maple products and great service. The highlight was the maple onion dip surprisingly - never thought I would like it but it was delicious. The darker syrups were fantastic as well. Didn't partake in the petting zoo and the tours, but everyone was enjoying themselves. There are a lot of options for maple weekend (only twice per year in March) but this place has the best food options and is kid friendly. read more

We had a great time at Wolf Maple Farm today! (For Maple Weekend) Loved hearing about the origins of maple syrup , the tractor ride, and all the yummy treats! They had a kid's craft corner, tractor ride to the sugarbush, lots of maple flavored samples, maple flavored foods to buy, and a bluegrass band playing! We devoured the Maple cotton candy, sampled the delicious soft serve Maple ice cream, had a Maple boiled hot dog, and had some crispy fresh-made maple cream donuts. Spent more money than we wanted to, but how could we resist???? They also had a small petting zoo with farm animals, which my daughter loved. I I appreciated that they had a heated tent area that we could eat our snacks in and get out of the cold. (And we took your recommendation to go to the Boy Scout breakfast at Middleport Fire, too. Oh my gosh, give those boys a round of applause. They had it running like a well-oiled machine! So many fantastic young helpers there! My toddler was in awe of all those kids doing "grown up work"!!! As long as you wanted refills, they brought you endless amounts of Pancakes, sausage, and eggs , plus juice , coffee , water or milk. The boys were so cute and working so hard, but seriously, the food was YUMMY, too! Some of the best, moistest scrambled eggs I've ever had. And the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. So much fun at the farm for maple weekend! Took a tram out to see the red maples and the tapping process. Great tour! Went into the Sugar Barn for lots of maple flavored treats, can't wait to go back! Wonderful Local Maple Farm run by a great family! read more
