We followed Wolf Maple Farm's recommendation to go to the Boy Scout breakfast at Middleport Fire today before going for Maple Weekend. Oh my gosh, give those boys a round of applause. They had it running like a well-oiled machine! So many fantastic young helpers there! My toddler was in awe of all those kids doing "grown up work"!!! As long as you wanted refills, they brought you endless amounts of Pancakes, sausage, and eggs , plus juice , coffee , water or milk. The boys were so cute and working so hard, but seriously, the food was YUMMY, too! Some of the best, moistest scrambled eggs I've ever had. And the pancakes were fluffy and flavorful. Often when you get AYCE pancakes, they are thinned out and more crepe-like. Not here! The hall was bright, clean, updated. Bathrooms were clean and spacious too. Loved the flooring in the hall. There is a bar area and a stage area for events. We will be coming back next year if they have the same event again. For sure! read more
