WOW! Going to Greg's might have been my all time favorite date. Bruce and I went on September 30th because I had read online they had a you-pick pumpkin patch, something I was cheated out of last year. We went at around 12 and it was not too crowded, which was nice. We bought tickets that gave us access to the pumpkin patch/a pumpkin as big as you could carry & access to the sunflower field. Tickets were $20 per person and very reasonable for the experience you get (perfect for families with children). They even take you over to the field in a tractor ride! I think we spent a good hour and a half picking sunflowers and our pumpkins. The farm also had clean bathrooms, a food shack (homemade french fries and pickle on a stick!), and a very wide variety of pre-picked pumpkins for those who did not want to go to the actual patch. Will 10000% return every chance we get! Such a beautiful farm!

I stopped here today for strawberries. It was my first time here as an adult. I got to see the animals. We bought strawberries, peanut butter cookies, a cinnamon and sugar donut, and some grape tomatoes! Be mindful that although this place is awesome, they only take cash or check.

    Delicious tomatoes :).

To pick or not to pick -- it's only your decision. Greg's farm is a beautiful place worth visiting no matter what your needs or desires. Located in an area with open fields and a countryside vibe, it's a great destination to explore. It's an inviting space with a lot to offer. From many varieties of seasonal produce through dairy, meat and preserves. Freshly made baked goods are also available. I tried their cinnamon and sugar donuts. It was the sweetest treat. Cut your own flowers or play in the corn maze. I like to check on the goats and pigs. Walking along with chickens and turkeys is also fun. I think kids would love it here. Greg's also offers activities for groups like birthday parties, spring field trips, educational school tours, etc. Many kinds of gatherings are possible. Their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares must be also popular among Clarence neighborhoods. All vegetables and fruits we tried so far were very good. I think they grow the most delicious tomatoes. I did canning once and they made me do it again this year. Opening a jar with Greg's tomatoes is like bringing back memories of summer. It looks, smells, and tastes divine and I just can't get enough of it.

    Nice and fresh!

So my son and his fiancée introduced us to this wonderful place! I've passed the sign so many times on transit Road but did not realize you don't have to pick if you don't want to - you can get a share of the crops or half share or you can buy some items separately. We got to experience what are a half share looks like as we picked up for them which they actually told us to enjoy! And boy, are we enjoying!!! The peaches, I can't even describe the flavor, it was phenomenal -,same with the tomatoes and blueberries. Can't wait to have the rest of the fruits and vegetables - and look at the beautiful flowers we got also. They have a wonderful area of baked goods and honestly I was so surprised at everything that was there - we will be back! Definitely should be on your to do list.

Great fun place to visit. Stopped there today to pick up my supply of winter squash to last me for a few months. Filled a large grocery bag for $15. There's always something in season with the u-pick. Today is was raspberries. The place has been expanded this year with the farm market on one side of the parking lot and the enclosed country store on the other. In there you can get everything from fresh baked goods (pies looked really good!) To ice cream or pickles. Also being fall there were tons of pumpkins and mums. Might check out the csa for next season.

A long time tradition with my mom, she says Greg's strawberries are the very best! Cheryl's pies are amazing and a homemade shortcake sundae is a must! thank you for all the memorable visits

Come here for berry picking with the kids several times a year. Most recently came for the strawberry picking which were a little over picked and small. The taste on them were still very juicy, the kids loved them. Other then berry picking they have homemade pies, local jellies and jams, honey, ice cream and other veggies and fruits already picked. A small animal farm on location also. We will continue to come here every summer.

We had the best time here. I shopped in the stores, we had popcorn and the french fries are amazing, he did the hat ride and the maze. Best fall day ever!

Amazing soup mixes and dip mixes! So many different varieties and so many ways to use them. We love every one that we've tried.

I'm a big fan of Greg's U-Pick. They're family owned and operated, and they absolutely stand by everything that they offer 100%. Last winter I stocked up on the soup mixes that they offered, and I'm glad now that I did. Right now they're still open for CSA registration. And in light of what's happening, they're offering a free flat of microgreens for people who register for CSA by April 10. I know from past experience that Greg's farm is very generous with their CSA share. I also know from a friend who does microgreen flats that this is a great way to get reliable produce. I'd highly recommend this to anyone in the area. Thank you, Greg's U-Pick. You guys are amazing.

Nice farm with plenty of treats in their bake goods shop. Cinnamon donuts were the best. The farm animals, especially the kittens running around were a delight. Plenty of veggies and fruits in the farm shop and U-pick options.

Workers were friendly. Prices reasonable. Went strawberry picking. Several rows of strawberries. You get a quart for $6. Also have to pay a $3 fee per person. You do have the option of bringing your own container and I think they'll probably weigh it? Unclear. There's also a shop/bakerywith already picked strawberries, veggies, pies, donuts. We bought a pie labeled as "cherry" but when we cut into it, it was apple. Needless to say we were very disappointed but made up for it in flavor. Crust was flaky, buttery melt in your mouth. Filling was soft, apple cinnamon perfection , not too sweet. Would visit again.

    Pick your squash baby!

This place is unbelievably lovely. My girlfriend and I chose this as our CSA because we loved everything about this little farm. It's family owned-of course and filled with fun activities for kids including a little farm animal mini zoo, a market filled with locally grown seasonings and jams and holy moly- AWESOME ALERT- They also make their own ice cream and sell that too!!! I'd never done a CSA before and so far five weeks into the program, our fridge has been filled with delicious fruits and veggies! The people are SO kind and it's so fun to pick out our goodies every week. PLEASE CHOOSE THEM FOR YOUR CSA -LOCAL IS BEST-

This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!

We arrived here early in the morning and the parking lot was half full and we bought our baskets (they only accept debit or cash) and went inside the orchard. There were many cherry trees that were perfect height for kids and adults, with different sizes of cherries on them. We spent almost 2 hours and since we were planning to pick both sweet cherries and sour cherries, we went to one of the staff and she redirected us to another orchard of theirs to pick the sour cherries. It was around 9:30-10 when we went to the other orchard and all the parking lots were full and there was a huge lineup for cars in both orchards to get in and big lineups to buy baskets and get inside the orchard. So, I suggest going in early in the morning. They have less sour cherry trees available and you need to spot them between sweet cherry trees and they're as delicious as the sweet cherries. They have very friendly and helpful staff that adds to the fun of picking your own cherries.

It's so much fun and despite the large crowds, you're not really too crowded once you get into the cherry trees section. This farm has been up and running for over 220 years and it's amazing to see the family continues to do well and offer a place for Pick Your Own on a variety of fresh produce. I think it was $5 admission for adults and that amount will be deduced from your fruit basket if you pick anything. Typically, we pick a whole giant ton of cherries to gift to friends (and of course eat for ourselves). Staff here are great and everything is made easily accessible. If I had one little advise, it would be to offer more step stools and maybe guide on how to use. There were only 5 step stools in a very very large space and this one family hogged them all to just sit on. All the good cherries were up top and way out of reach, unless we did some climbing. I loved PYO farms as a kid and bring friends / plan family summer outings to these types of farms. It's just so nice to be outside away from technology and traffic. Love it here! The fruits are delish by the way.

It was quite busy on a beautiful weekend so we weren't surprised. The staff was very nice and friendly. They gave us advice for picking, we paid ($16 per person) and went in. There's a tractor you can take out to where the strawberries (10 min walk) and raspberries (6 min walk) are. We opted to walk since it was so beautiful outside. Unfortunately, it really was the end of strawberry season. A lot were burnt by the sun or were too soft, especially on the bottoms. After little luck, we decided to pick raspberries only. The buckets are different so we made sure we filled the correct one. There were a lot more raspberries and we worked hard to fill our buckets. Be careful because the raspberry bushes have thorns! We also stopped by the shop on the way out. We'll be back for apple season.

We thank goodness read Darlene's review about making a reservation and did that the day of around noon and was able to get in at 330! The reservation is made online and the farm is FREE to enter (amazing) but can't be changed or cancelled, however you only need it per carload, so unless you're bringing another car, you can tack on extra folks. We purchased some apples we picked (it was pretty low in the season to pick off the trees) and some that were all set for you in bins, a pumpkin, some cider, a tiny pumpkin and were surprised by the price. Gently it was not as expensive as I thought. Parking was quick and easy on a later Saturday afternoon, with a quick Hi to the Turkeys, some exploring around the pumpkins and picking some apples we had a good time after about an hour and half. I did noticed that it was well organized and lots of folks did disregard the signs: don't feed the Turkeys (grass) and pick up the apples you drop off the tree. There were alot of half eaten, throw apples on the ground which made me kind of sad. Everything I was looking for in fall activities!!…read more I came across this place on Yelp, through suggestions of friends looking for a place to pick pumpkins straight from the patch. It's one of the activities I enjoy doing most in the fall, and have grown disappointed with other farms as the years went by and their popularity skyrocketed. This place is fairly under the radar - a bit of a drive even past the attractions in Clarence, but I've grown to love Akron lately and so I (of course) didn't mind making the journey. In fact, I loved this place so much that I brought my family back here the very next day. Akron Acres is a part of the Kelkenberg farm family. I haven't been to their namesake farm, but if it's anything like Akron Acres I'm sure I would have an absolutely amazing time. Activities here during their fall season included a hayride out to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, and things like pony rides for the kids. The hayride is $12 and you're allowed to pick any pumpkin you want from the patch (even the biggest one you can't carry) - they also had combo ticket prices if you wanted to participate in some of the other activities here. Sadly we went during a wet and rainy weekend, so I had to miss out on the corn maze BUT the farm animals 10000% made up for my FOMO. Oh yes, there are dozens of farm animals roaming about! Most notably, we saw ponies, a large draft horse (not sure what breed they are? but they are HUGE), pigs, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and of course GOATS. There were also BABY GOATS and they were absolutely ADORABLE, one of them tried to eat my clothes. Made my life complete. You can also buy an assortment of other things while you're here, not just tickets for fun activities! They sell pumpkins and gourds if you don't feel like going out to the patch - they also have Indian corn and corn stalks, hay, among other things. There's a food stand that sells kettle corn, maple cotton candy, and candy apples. You can also shop a super cute country store here, with all sorts of goodies - I ended up buying a delicious smelling candle that they were burning in the store while I was there. Needless to say, there's a ton of really fun things to do while you're here, both for kids and adults. It's a bit less well known than some of the other pumpkin places in WNY, which is why I ended up liking it so much. Both days we went, it was pleasantly busy but not overly crowded. There is also "The Gathering Barn," which is where weddings are hosted - and from the pictures I've seen online, it sounds beautiful! All in all, we had such an amazing experience here that we're going to be back in November for their Christmas trees! Can't wait to return!!
