Since I was the designated driver, i can't review the wine but I can review the service and atmosphere. We went in and the others in the group ordered tasting flights of wine. There was no friendly interaction, recommendations or wine description from the person pouring the wine. It was a very cold unwelcoming interaction. Immediately after pouring, the person just disappointed, not seen again until someone in our party wanted to buy something. Then he came running out from wherever he was hiding. Even though the wine may be okay, friendliest is not there. Unless you don't care about a cold atmosphere I'd say skip it.

Unfortunately, our annual tradition took a major hit this year, and we are pretty disappointed with how things were handled. First off, the pricing structure has gotten entirely out of hand. Admission is now a staggering $27 per person just to walk in and get a single bag of apples. This was our first time going before 4:30 PM, and we were shocked. They justify the steep price by including access to attractions like the petting zoo and farm yard, but let's be honest--no one over the age of 15 is going for that stuff. If you're just there to pick apples, paying nearly $30 a head is ridiculous. Lesson learned: we will definitely be going after 4:30 PM next time to avoid that absurd fee. To top it all off, we missed out on the one thing we look forward to every single year: the donuts. We headed over to the bakery around 3:45 PM, only to find out they were completely sold out for the day. Being out of donuts before 4:00 PM during peak apple season is a huge letdown. Becker Farms used to feel like a fun, straightforward fall tradition, but between the steep daytime price hike and missing out on treats, we left pretty upset. We'll be back for the apples, but definitely on our own terms next time.
