I also love the specialty goods they carry in the store -- they make it easy to pair a sandwich run with a thoughtful gift (a gift card is always a win!). Stopped in on a Tuesday around 5 and ordered three sandwiches for my friends and me. I'm proud to say I'm just three sandwiches away from trying everything on the menu! My favorites so far are the muffaletta, the Young Turk, and the All-American. Highly recommend for a quick, delicious meal.

Great customer service and they will customize every sub or pizza the way you want. They use top line Boar's Head meats and freshly delivered sub rolls, homemade spreads and dressings. Homemade soups and chili are always so good. Can be pricey but you get what you pay for. Parking is ample and they have a few tables inside for seating with simple ambience and decor. There is a cooler with self-serve drinks and desserts. Meatball sub is so good (homemade meatballs of course), and the homemade olive spread on the muffaletta hits the spot, New Orleans style! Pizzas are fresh and tasty also with fresh made dough and ingredients. Call ahead so everything is ready when you get there!

Alongside the meats, we wanted to try their sides as well which consisted of mac and cheese, baked beans, corn bread, cole slaw and salt potatoes. For the brisket which we looked forward to the most, we found these to be drier than we would have liked. Paired with sauce, they were just okay. For the pulled pork, we found this to be phenomenal. Smoky and delicious all on its own. Definitely a highlight for us. For the bacon, we ordered 3 different kinds, and we found the flavors didn't really shine through. Although generously thick cut and cooked perfectly. The kielbasa was a bit of a letdown. We found these to be on the dry side, but the flavors were okay. For the sides, the mac and cheese we found the pasta to be a bit overcooked and overall, on the bland side. The baked beans tasted great, no complaints there. The corn bread wasn't anything special and neither were the salt potatoes. Although we did enjoy the salt potatoes and found they were exactly how they ought to be. The cole slaw was also on the bland side and tasted more of the fridge than any flavor. We've heard good things about their smoked wings which we had to try before leaving. We ordered a 5-piece with their spicy Asian sauce. The wings were delicious, the smokiness flavor penetrated throughout the entire wing, but the sauce was very salty which took away from the natural delicious taste of the smoked wings. Overall, a good experience which some seasoning issues but would revisit if we were back in the area.

With it being a Sunday, there wasn't a lot of other places open, so I expected it to be a little busy but luckily we ordered at a good time. I called in the order for a couple of subs and they were ready in less than 20 minutes. I went over and grabbed the subs, a couple of drinks and I found some All Dressed chips on the shelf. I have only seen these in Canada before so I was shocked and happy to see them. They have a bunch of grocery items in here too which is good if you need anything last minute. We've come in before for anything from milk, sour cream, or even some condiments. Not too mention they have a deli too! The subs here are the best in Batavia. The bread is so soft. The meats and cheese are freshly cut for each sub and all of the toppings taste fresh and crisp on the sub. Truly a great sandwich all around. From the service, nostalgic vibes of the store, and the great food, this is a must try spot in Batavia.

I paid extra for sweet peppers on the sub ... not a problem. But the problem there were only 4 pieces of peppers on the entire sub. Based on my first visit ... I would like to order from them again. Based on my 2nd experience .... I won't.
