This is a great experience if you are looking for some variety in your apple picking. The employees…read moreare fabulous and super knowledgeable. You get on a wagon pulled by a tractor and they drop you off to pick your choices of apples. I love that they don't spray year round and they only treat at the beginning of the season and only for the pest(s) identified. They don't use a generic pesticide and generally seem to be environmentally conscious. I also love that they allow you to sample the apples Great little family orchard. Rock on Whittier!

Cute little store barn, with apples already bagged for a quick grab and go! Donuts, cider, veggies and popcorn available to purchase. Some craft items like signs for purchase too. They have a tractor with a wavy that takes people out to a specific area to pick different types of apples. They have things working very smoothly here, if a sign is on the ground that row of apples is not ready to be picked. A sign is up telling you all the details about that apple... it's ready to be picked. There were a good number of people picking apples with us but everyone is spaced out very nicely. Tried a few apples and they were crisp and sweet ... feels like fall is here! Back on the wagon up to the barn, where they have these cute old fashioned scales to weigh your apples and pay. Very cute experience that we all enjoyed.

This summer me and one of my cousins and our husbands came back to relive our memories, and the place was just how I remembered. Very friendly staff and service. There is a phone number on their website to call which gives up to date directions in terms of what is available and when and where which is super convenient. At the farm they have quart and pint containers, bags and trays for you to use as you go out and pick. Their fields are nice and easy to find. The fruit is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. The trouble is the timing, anyone who has picked before knows there is a small window. Strawberries usually come near the end of June and then cherries, blueberries and raspberries quickly follow. Blink and you might miss it, as soon as the end of the school year approaches, use the phone number so that you don't! Coulters seems to have fair pricing for their fruit. Berries all are purchased by pint or quart, whereas cherries are purchased by pound. While they are delicious and worth every penny, be aware the cherries will add up quickly, they weigh more than you think! If you're looking for a fun day, rewarding when you bring home the spoils, check out Coulter farms. Remember to catch them at the end of June, and bring some sunscreen and water, it gets hot out there!
