We have a family tradition of going to Letchworth every Columbus Day weekend and part of that tradition is also stopping at the Cider Mill for goodies to bring with us to the park. They have all kinds of goodies, but we especially like the apple cider slush, cider donuts, and the cider itself. The donuts this year seemed especially delicious and are highly recommended. We came here on a family trip a couple of months ago and the apple cider we purchased here stole the show. Everyone in our household was ranting and raving about how this was the best cider we've had. My family and I stopped at Castille Cider Mill on our way home from Letchworth State Park. We happened to stop there on opening day. Everyone working at Castille Cider Mill was so sweet! Their family friends were out front cooking complimentary hot dogs on the grill and handing out samples of cider. The line to purchase cider and food was out the door, but it moved quickly. The line also wrapped around the gift shop, which made it more enjoyable. The gift shop offered locally made pastries, bread, jellies, jams, honey, honey comb, cheese, and of course-cider. We purchased several gallons of cider, fresh picked red apples and cider slushies. Everything was delicious! I will certainly be making this a yearly Fall tradition! read more

The Castile Cider Mill is a real gem, not to be missed! I have lived mostly in New York City and Los Angeles, and I had no idea what great fresh apple cider was SUPPOSED to taste like until I went there. In addition to the perfect apple cider, they have a huge variety of apples, great local honey (the owner is also a beekeeper), delicious apple cider doughnuts made on site, and many other appealing selections of optimal quality! I was surprised to see the very long line in a small residential part of town, but after going there I can see why.
