I was able to call ahead and get an appointment with ease and with an immediate opening! I also received a gel manicure and was very pleased. I've been here twice. 1st/2nd pic is what I just got, 3rd pic is from last year a week in. $45 for gel+acrylic+$2 a nail for designs=$65 total. Last year with the gradient blue it was only $45, so pretty cheap. They really care, are super nice, talk to you, and will fix whatever you want changed so you want to come back. Yelp steered two of us into Pretty Please. It's a small salon, but we were able to been seen right away on a weekend afternoon. I was only getting a manicure, so I sat at the bar area to get my enamel on. My friend was getting a mani/pedi combo, and she was serviced at a pedicure chair. My nails were $14 and hers were $32. The women working at Pretty Please all seemed pretty friendly. The lady helping me was very chatty and outgoing. Nice manicure, maybe not the manicure to end all manicures, but fine. Love this place! Was recommended here by the Auburn Hotel. A big selection of gel colors to choose from, the most I've ever seen in any salon. Adorable place with great music playing! The girls here genuinely care about what I want on my nails. They took their time and made sure I was going to love my color of choice. I'm very particular. My cuticles were cut perfectly, the polish application was smooth, even and clean. Perfect around the edges. My only complaint is that I don't live closer! I came here because the reviews seemed pretty good. but when i walked in i was shocked by the unprofessionalism of this place. it was filthy. they definitely do not clean up in between clients. there were 3 employees in the store and only one lady was working. while she was filing my nails, she stopped and went on her phone and was texting someone for atleast 5 minutes. i literally had to say something for her to continue to do my nails. they obviously had no idea what they were doing considering she couldn't do a french tip correctly. my nails look horrible. the tips are all different lengths (she didn't make sure each nail was the same length). and don't even get me started on the top coat. my nails aren't even smooth after getting sns. overall i highly do not recommend this place. read more

The lady who did my nails took me as a walk-in and did a fabulous job! Her attention to detail was phenomenal, and I expect this will be a long-lasting gel mani/pedi. She and I struck up a good conversation, and she made sure the whole time that I was comfortable and that she was giving me exactly what I wanted (length, shape, closeness on cuticle trim, etc). I followed the positive reviews from yelp. First time here and got a pedicure. When cleaning up my cuticles, she was smooth and efficient. It's been a long time since I didn't feel like they were being ripped from my toes. I also got a design painted and it is gorgeous! No kindergarten art here! I don't ever do yelp reviews but I chose this location based on yelp reviews and would definitely like to share my wonderful experience! Let me say I don't normally do my nails. I didn't know how long a mani/pedi would take, and arrived about 45 minutes before closing time. I asked if they were able to do both and without hesitation we got started. An hour and a half later, we finished (after closing time). Not only were they polite, friendly, and professional, but they made no fuss about staying after closing. Also, as a Christmas gift I was taken to a different salon and got acrylics. Apparently, they were done very very thick, and Lun (I think that was her name, it wasn't Lina who helped me) fixed them so that they were much lighter and more natural looking. I LOVE MY NAILS. The color I had originally chosen didn't look like I expected when she started applying it, and she had no problem grabbing me a color that was exactly what I meant to select the first time. To top off the exceptional customer service, I left my keys in the store and didn't realize until after they had locked up and gone home already. I contacted them on Facebook and they met me at the store to get me my keys, without any complaint. Really great people and absolutely do wonderful work too! I can't wait to be a regular!! read more

I received a gel acrylic full set yesterday. I loved the color; however, after looking today the nails look so fake. The manicurist didn't touch my cuticles which I found odd and after today, it's obvious she didn't paint to the cuticle edge at all. I initially went here because of the reviews and came to receive a pedicure to test it out. And though the pedicure was luxurious, I will not be back. Sweet ladies, but poor quality of a manicure. I paid $48 for a crap job. Don't go to the other nail salon by Toomers, they give a crappier job. NOTE: 7/7 Edited to reflect it was not a manicure. However upon getting my nails redone at another place as the nails did not last a full week. I had to pay for another full set instead of getting a refill. Added a star as I do plan to give the store one last shot at the next appointment and there comment was very professional and caring. read more
