This is the BEST Nail Salon I have been to! I love the staff here. Very nice. I have not ever had a bad pedicure or manicure. I once messed up two nails 3-4 hours on the same day, went back to the salon and the repolished the nails for free. Great Salon, could not ask for better prices and for the excellent quality it is more than worth the prices they offer (which is relatively inexpensive) I mean this honestly! I have tried 5 different salons in Auburn, this is the only one I will go to now! In reference to Peggy D's review-- I have acrylic nails removed and placed on with these people on a regular basis and they always soak the nails and it has never been painful. Due to my experience today I will not be going back I asked for a soak off I tell the lady my nails are brittle so I didn't want to rip them off myself. I proceed to tell her that I've been jamming them and that they hurt. She starts clipping them and then starts putting an acrylic nail underneath my acrylic I had on my nails and proceeds to rip them off. I was mid tears as she was taking them off due to the pain of the way she was taking them off. Mind you I told her I've been jamming them into things and then continues to take them off the same way I could've done myself. I simply asked for her to soak them off not rip them off my fingernails. Customer service is non-existent when you walk in. I have very thick nails. In removing the dip powder I came in to have removed, they drilled all the way to my quick on two nails. I had to beg the lady to cut my broken nail. I got clear polish put on my sad, ragged. Nails. You can see where they dug in too far. For those that don't get tips/acrylics and just want gel on your real nail, I don't recommend this place. They cut my nails down too much and they kept filing while my cuticles were bleeding. Worst nail experience I've ever had. Will never go back, do not recommend. They are shaped at an angle so it it looks like my nails are growing crookedly. 2 days later and my top coat of my gel nails is almost completely gone on the top half of my nails. My pedicures always feel amazing and I love the hot towels and leg massages they give with them. The basic manicures they give are great as well as gel manicures. This place claims to have availability for appointments, but I have shown up on multiple occasions at my appointment time and still had to wait over 30 minutes. Today, I called and asked about appointment times and they told me to come at 4:45. I showed up 5 minutes early and was immediately given a chair, however, I sat with my feet soaking for 40 minutes (the hot water turned cold). Also, on my past two visits to get a pedicure, the nail technician has scrubbed so hard with the sponge so as to cause abrasions on the bottoms and sides of my feet. I used to love coming to this nail salon and considered it one of the best in the Auburn area. I am no longer impressed with the quality of service and will not be returning. read more

Don't get Linda! We were trying to get a color to match a dress for a wedding and Linda was extremely rude. Every color picked from the samples of powder were mysteriously not found and she offered zero assistance. She brought a color that was too bright and when it was mentioned she stormed off and left her sitting there. Sam finally came and tried to help but nothing was even done for her cuticles. Will never return. I came in for a pedicure. I might as well have let my 6 yr old do it for me. The lady seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing. Didn't scrub the bottom of my feet and gave me a 10 second massage on my leg and I was done. Polish was ok. Decided to get nails did by the lady owner. And she totally destroyed my nails and played as if she didn't see the bumps and humps she left on there do to dips with tips. Horrible don't go there!!! read more

I am continually impressed with this business. Not only is it impeccably clean, the service during the COVID-19 outbreak has been amazing. I was there today when a young woman entered the business, refusing to wear a mask. The owner/manager offered her one for free and she still arefused. He told her to go elsewhere and I was so proud. I came here 3 weeks ago because of the general good reviews. I had a pedicure, not the cheapest of the options as I was expecting a longer massage and care. The massage lasted less than 30 sec per foot and was pretty rushed and carelessly done, same with callous and cuticles removal which was done rushed and roughly. But my main disappointment was that the woman applying the color did not apply it in all the nail, she left some space where the nail starts growing so in about 3 days it was looking like I needed a pedicure again. I notice this cheating technique in a few salons in the past, they must think we customers don't realize. I will continue looking for a decent nail salon in town. read more

Save your money and do your nails yourself instead of coming here. I believed the other reviews and felt cheated afterward. I went to get my nails done and everything seemed great while there. Sat for 20 minutes letting my nails dry in front of the fan, as well they used a "quick drying" spray, left didn't touch anything for over an hour. Then went home and looked at my nails and all of the paint on my fingernails had pulled up off of the corners and looked terrible! I went back and they very coldly said "you have gel?" I said no, regular but it was one of the premium manicures and she told me oh it will always do that right away unless you have gel. Well, why do they offer a $20 manicure that won't even last a day... I was very disappointed, and am hoping I can save someone who is looking for a new nail salon. Keep looking. read more

We called and made an appointment only to be told that we had to wait for just a few minutes for someone to open up. The woman who greeted us showed us to a back room with some really comfortable massage chairs. She explained that we could wait here and either get a more expensive package, or move to the main room for a regular pedicure when someone was available. We agreed only to spend the next 35 minutes waiting. When someone was finally available, she argued that I needed to stay and get a more expensive pedicure. The woman who showed us to the room came to our rescue before the worst pedicure I've received. It wasn't terrible, just not good. I still have the two hang nails I went in with, my nails are shaped funny and too long, and she ignored me about clear polish and I didn't get any(I am a guy). I wanted paraffin and aloe on the dry spots on my feet, but most of it was in the bottom of the bag and not on my feet... they did discount $10 off the $53 pedicure package, but now I still have to go somewhere and pay again to get my feet taken care of. This is the only place I get a pedicure in Auburn. I'm encouraged every time I go there and see that their equipment is taken from an autoclave and opened right before it is used. Drastically reduces the odds of taking some germs home. Some of the ladies are better than others but overall, they are an efficient group. They are always busy but they also seem to move people through rather quickly. I;ve never had a manicure there (only because I care less about my finger nails) but they have three price options for the pedicures. I think it is pretty inexpensive considering all you get (the cheapest option is less than $20). Very highly recommended. read more

This nail place is a pretty decent/good boutique to get your nails done at. The environment is clean, and the staff was welcoming and nice. I got acrylic nails, and they turned out pretty decent, although a couple shapes were a little off and the polish wasn't super even on a couple nails. Also, on the down side, the ventilation system in the boutique wasn't the best, and the smell of the acrylic material lingered around the work station after a while. I was in Opelika for a workshop and decided to try this spa based on Yelp reviews. I was very impressed. Very clean with a health certificate of 100%. My nail tech was very sweet and professional. I got the Doterra pedicure. Pedicure followed by a calf/foot massage using your choice of Doterra oil. Love that they use Doterra products. Cost was$25 but worth every penny! I was a satisfied regular customer until I asked to have acrylic nails removed prior to replacing with gels. Previously I needed a certain color to match the dress for my son's wedding, and I was told I would need to do the acrylics in order to get this specific color. When I returned a few weeks later to have the acrylics removed, I was assigned a certain lady who practically RIPPED my nails off. I thought this odd as she began and asked her why she wasn't soaking them first. She replied "no- we do this way. It best". It was actually painful and I could kick myself for putting up with it. After I talked to another salon about what she did, they told me to run away from a place that would do this. They should ALWAYS soak the nails to remove the acrylic material. Not only was it painful, but my real nails were damaged badly, and it took months to repair/regrow. In addition to this terrible experience, they insist on talking in their native language so of course you have no idea what they are saying. Very uncomfortable. There should be a rule/law that prohibits this. Foreign business owners and their employees should be required to speak in English at all times. It's just rude and insensitive when they talk amongst themselves in Korean or whatever it is. It's a real shame I won't be returning to Nail Boutique Spa as it is very close to my home in the Moores Mill area and was very convenient. read more

The most awkward experience that I've ever had at a nail salon. Two stars is being generous. First, the male technician hit on me, asking if I had a boyfriend and how old I was. Then, he coughed in his hand repeatedly then touched my hands with his hands without washing them. Finally, he cut my cuticle and put a cotton ball of acetone on it to stop the bleeding!!! OUCH!! Finally! I am beyond thrilled to find a great nail salon in the Auburn/Opelika area! After going to several other salons and either leaving after a 15 minute shoddily done manicure or a rough, painful pedicure, I ventured to this place thanks to Yelp. How can you do a quality gel manicure in 15 minutes? You can't. Enter Nail Boutique & Spa. I walk in around 1:15 and had to wait a few minutes which is a good sign in my opinion. I picked my color and sat down with Linda. She took her time and was very precise in filing and buffing my short nails exactly how I like them. My cuticles grow so fast and some salons won't cut all of them off, leaving remnants. Not Linda! She got every last piece and even went back to trim a few strays after she finished. She painted two of my nails and decided the bottle was almost empty and that the color would not look right so she made two trips to bring back about 7 different options for me to choose from, applying each color to her own nails allowing me to see them. I've never had anyone else take the time to do that. Compared to gel manis that cost almost double, this ($28 plus tip) is one of the best I've had. I will definitely be back! read more

I've gone on two occasions and had two drastically different experiences. I went after someone recommended them and the first time was great. The 2nd time I went, they were empty and I thought "Great! I won't have to wait this time!" WRONG!!! When the lady who I assume is the owner told the girl that did my nails she had customer, she got an attitude. I don't speak Vietnamese, however the tone of her voice and body language made me think she didn't want to do it, which should have been a reg flag. She rushed through my pedicure and said "Okay, done." She never asked if I wanted my nails cut down or what type of pedicure I wanted. I asked her if she could buff my nails and she sighed. She then took the buffer and rubbed it over each of my toes once. I told her that I wanted a manicure too, which I had stated when I first walked in and she rolled her eyes and sighed again, so by that time I was P.O.ed and just paid and left. read more
