Don't get your eyelashes tinted here. The girl had to tint my eyes lashes twice and each time my eyes were burning and irritated and when I left there was dye all over my face still. I looked like I had been crying or something. read more

Sometimes, you never know how good you've got it. When I lived in Auburn, my roommate took upon herself the monumental task of turning my introverted MolB-nerd ugly duckling self into a shining socialite... she never completely succeeded, but I did learn a few things about proper feminine hygiene along the way. Rule #1: When getting waxing done (and I mean ANY kind)... run, do not walk, to Spa Auburn. With the exception of one hard-wax-under-the-arms experience (never put on deodorant before getting waxed! YEOWCH!!), I do not have any bad memories of Spa Auburn. The staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. The waxes they use are gentle (which I appreciated most during those harrowing Brazilians), even on sensitive skin like mine. The women who work there are simultaneously classy and amiable, and I always left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Perhaps it's the soothing ambiance, or unobtrusive aromatherapy candles... but most likely it was the consistently friendly, efficient and thorough work of the staff. I miss my Spa Auburn. read more

I just had my first Brazilian wax done today at Spa Auburn. The technician Summer was sooo good. She was real fast and that helped a lot. She was also very nice and calm by trying to relax and encourage me. The interiror at Spa Auburn was decent, welcoming and cozy. I liked it a lot. Extraordinary Experience!! Don't waste your money going anywhere else!!! I have been getting massages for years, but the best deep tissue massage I've ever had was right here in Auburn. The massage therapist, Sheryl Reese, listened to my concerns and trouble areas (I carry stress in my neck and shoulders.) and performed miracles in relieving the tenseness,relaxing the muscles/tissues, and decreasing the overall tightness. I feel better than I have with multiple trips to the chiropractor. This was my first trip but it certainly won't be my last. read more

This place is great (: I go every six weeks or so for waxing, and usually have Lauren, she's so sweet and really friendly. They make the experience as quick and painless as waxing can be! Every time I've been I've never waited more than 5 minutes past my appointment time. They're also very sanitary and don't reuse wax sticks or anything like that. Worst spa experience or lack there of that I have ever had! I made an appointment for a brazilian wax Friday morning because they had a great web special going for $39, upon which I specifically asked did they do guys and was it ok. The owner said not a problem and let the receptionist make the appointment for Tuesday of the following week. On Monday I get a call around noon and informed they do not do guys and that she was "sorry"....Why did she make the appointment in the first place? Now I tried to call around Auburn but no one has any appointments open for the the next day on such short notice. The point is I counted on the appointment because Im a figure model and now Im left having to travel out of town possible to get waxed. If your going to advertise you might want to say no guys or girls only on your ad so in the future this doesnt happen!! And how about reimbursing me for the extra money I had to pay someone else for waxing because I relied on your business. read more

This is my favorite place to go when I need any spa services. They also did my pre-wedding nails/spa services and my makeup the day of the wedding. They are reasonably priced for most of the services I use. Their massage therapists are good about making sure to do what you need done not just going with a standard massage. They also are good about working with your schedule to get you in, and if for some reason something changes they are also good about calling you as soon as possible. They do accept spa finder gift certificates which means that my family in California can buy those for me there and I can go to the spa here in Alabama. read more

I can't say enough good things about Spa Auburn. I have always loved this spa and never experienced anything better from Auburn to a five-star hotel. Ihave gone to Spa Auburn for relaxation and wedding prep, but I especially relied on Spa Auburn during my year of cancer treatment. I don't know how I would have made it through the year without the healing massages at Spa Auburn. Whether it is for pampering or healing, Spa Auburn offers every service to suit you. Make sure to have them check your gift cards before getting treatment! I received a gift card from a co-worker and used it the next month. When going in for treatment they knew I was using gift card but did not ask for it before. After an expensive treatment I went to pay and they said gift card had expired. There was no expiration date on card and after several days of calling and trying to get an answer from the owner, which whom never would call me back herself they did nothing and I had to pay for an expensive treatment which the only reason I went was because I was given this gift!!! Do not get gift cards from here!!! They were paid twice for my treatments and owner was not helpful in any way. Lots of other great spas in Auburn! read more
