I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here was unacceptable. Within moments of sitting down, the technician injured me with the nail drill. I politely asked her to be more careful, but on the very next nail she cut my skin so deeply that I started bleeding. Instead of apologizing or showing concern, she chuckled, which made an already painful experience feel incredibly dismissive and disrespectful. Accidents can happen, but how they're handled matters. I would have appreciated genuine concern, an apology, and greater care. Unfortunately, I left feeling hurt, uncomfortable, and with very little confidence in the salon's attention to customer safety. I won't be returning. read more

i go here all the time to get my nails done. everyone is always very sweet and they do a good job!

Had a great experience at Envy. Everyone was so friendly. We had an appointment and we got right in.

This was my first time visiting. The work quality is terrible. After expressing what I wanted, I was told it couldn't be done after prepping and applying acrylic. I had to keep pointing out uneven and incorrectly shaped nails. It was possibly the specific nail tech but I am a one and done type of customer. read more

I went on a Friday to go get S&S on my nails, the day after getting them done one of my nails broke completely off. I was fine with it, and called and they told me they could fix it for free which I appreciated. When I went back I waited 30-45 minutes to get one nail fixed. Finally someone came to assist me but seemed to rather care about getting to the other customers that were paying for full sets. My nail was fixed very fast and was a completely different size, shape, and color. The person who did my nail also acknowledged my nail was a different color than the rest and did not seem to care. I do not see myself coming back. Update: I've had my nails on for five days and one of my nails is cracked and bleeding. Will NOT be coming back read more

DO NOT GO TO ENVY. my friend and I had appointments at noon for mani pedis. They didn't get started on us till 12:30 and they would start on your pedicure then you'd have to wait for a different person to actually do the polish on your toes. So yet again you're still waiting. Once they finished my toe polish, I waited for another 45 minutes for someone to start my manicure. I got dip and my nails look so stubby and she didn't clean up my cuticles at all. With all that being said, the 2 people who worked on my pedicure were very nice but the worker who did my friends pedicure was very rude and kept shaking his head at her when she asked for a certain color that they said they had read more

I was visiting my sister at Auburn and desperately needed to get my nails done. My sister was not much help in teh way of recommendations, but Yelp led me to Envy. It was a bit dirty... but I ignored that because I was very pleased with the rest of my experience. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure with tips all for $70 (I am used to paying $70 for a dip manicure with no tips in Nashville). My nails look great and the technician was very quick while also being thorough and diligent. Will be back next time I am visiting and my nails need attention! read more

And that was exceptional! I highly recommend a spa pedicure. It has seriously been the best I've ever had in my life! read more

I've been to envy a few times and have had some poor experiences and some really good ones. But happy to say I've finally found my nail girl! Kim at envy did a great job it was definitely my best experience I've had there. She did my pedicure and my tips with powder and they both look great. She took her time, didn't rush at all and was so sweet. Will definitely be back to see Kim!! read more

They don't seem to respect appointments. I know most nail salons take too many walk ins so appointments are usually a little delayed, but when I went for my appointment the nail tech I was scheduled with was just sitting down to start a full set of acrylics on someone else and expected me to wait the hour or so it would take. I get having to wait 10-15 minutes but I don't understand the point of appointments if they will totally be disregarded. read more

Jenny does an amazing job. Today I got a dip manicure for the first time and she did a great job explaining the process. Dip stays on for awhile so she made sure to ask me what shape I wanted for my nails and made sure I loved the color. She also gave a great mani that was much needed. Thank you Jenny! read more

I was a littleee skeptical going in because there were a few questionable reviews, but it was honestly the best experience I've had getting my nails done. Kathy took her time and made sure the nails were even and the design was perfect! It was also a friendly and clean environment. Definitely recommend and will be going back! read more

Great job Envy!!!! I ventured out for the first time since this pandemic started because I was in desperate need of pedicure (I have toenail issues, not just for vanity!). I was nervous walking in but the second I opened the door my nerves were settled. They have a sanitizer station at the front and immediately ask you to sanitize. Every one is required to wear a mask (workers and patrons). The desks are spread out and they are only sitting people at every other pedicure chair. Also each table has a plexiglass shield and the chairs for pedicures also have a plexiglass shield! Every chair is covered with a disposable cover and cleaned after each use. They also have single use files (2x) that they give you to take with you, so you know they can't be used again! I have always chosen envy because they do a great job, but I truly felt like this was outstanding service and safety! Thank you! read more

Auburn had a shortage of Great Nail and Spa's. Ratings are over the top and without merit. They don't have a full staff and it was just sit down in a chair until someone can figure out your here for service. The have a lot of people walking in and out. Terrible operation at this point this has not been a good experience. Coming from a spa that delivers quality service and great work this is a less than ok nai read more

Have been twice and won't go back because they charge extra if you use a debit/credit card. My daughter also asked for acrylic on the last visit and the lady dipped her nail instead and now they're already coming off a week later. read more

I like this place. It is tranquil and clean. However, I had an appointment for 9:30 this morning (their opening time) and there was only one employee present. It was 9:55 before someone came in to do my pedi. read more

Absolutely Excellent Service & Quality. After reading some negative reviews on other nail salons in the Auburn/Opelika area, I went with Envy and was VERY satisfied. I took my 8-year old daughter on Friday afternoon, without an appointment and we were seated right away. My nail technician was sweet, thorough, and did not rush. I had an amazing massage and hot towel service as part of my pedicure and I was very, very pleased with my gel polish service - applied exactly as it was supposed to be, and great finish. They treated my daughter's polish change with the same care and precision. We'll DEFINITELY be back. read more

My go-to pedicure spot. Great staff, very attentive. All of them traveled thousands of miles to work at Envy. Very dedicated!

I usually like this place and, they typically do a really good job with pedicures but, today baby idk wtf she done did. Why are they shaped like almonds i said cut down not sculpt an almond shape. Oh and, thanks for making my toes sore from drilling the gel off from my old set with a nail bit that didn't have a sanding band on it. read more

I went here this past Friday and had my nails MASSACRED. My staff member cut my nails down to the point that they were extremely painful, my cuticles were bleeding for the entire appointment and when I got home to take a picture, and at one point she actually cut off skin around my nail so that there is an open wound acting as a border around my tragic manicure. So disappointed. read more

Envy Nail Spa - Quaint little blood border around my ring finger - Nail Salons Near Me - Auburn, Alabama

Envy has been my go - to nail salon for a while now but the past few times i've been there it has been significantly less busy than it usually is and yet i wait probably 30 minutes for someone to get to me while some of the workers are sitting around doing nothing. I have heard of people being seated before you even if they come in after you simply because they LOOK like they have more money than you. Keeping in mind getting my nails done is something i do for leisure so i don't particularly get dressed up to go to the nail salon. However, this time i went i was not having it. A girl came into the salon and looked very nice and dressed up and even though i had been there for probably 30 minutes waiting she got seated right away. i had been told repeatedly that it would only be 5 more minutes and before i knew it i had been sitting there for half an hour. i ended up walking out as this has happened more than once at this nail salon and i decided to take my business elsewhere. VERY DISAPPOINTED ENVY! read more

Wonderful visit! They're always nice and polite the moment you come inside. I've made this place my go to place for nails. I always come in for acrylics ($25) and they always give me exactly what I want. read more

Envy Nail Spa - Amazing acrylic job - Nail Salons Near Me - Auburn, Alabama

we were visiting Auburn and one of our daughters friends suggested Envy. Such a great pedicure. thank you! we will be back

If you're looking for a great salon with friendly service, this is not the place to go. My cousin, sister-in-law and I went into the salon and my cousin immediately felt uncomfortable because of the nasty faces she was given by the employees. She recorded what they were saying and had her friend translate it for her. They were talking about how the three of us would never get married because we don't keep up with ourselves. Mind you, we were having a girls' day out and didn't feel like dressing up. We just wanted to go to the salon, relax, and have a good time. What gives people the right to judge other people? NOTHING DOES. Their service was horrible and I will never go back again. Hopefully, neither will you. Go to a salon whose workers are decent and respectful people. read more

They're very rude and they rushed both my manicure and pedicure. While my manicure turned out okay my pedicure was the worst i've ever gotten. I had paint all around my toe nails and he didn't even take the time to put anything between my toes so my polish came off onto my skin. He didn't even think to fix it until I told him it looked terrible. I won't be going back.. read more

The people there are very rude and bully you into getting certain things done. I wanted gel and was harassed for 10 minutes to do S&S. The man who did my nails was very aggressive and made my finger bleed. Will never come here again read more

My favorite nail salon in Auburn! The prices are great, colors are plentiful, and staff is very friendly. They have a very thorough pedicure, even at the cheapest option. This is about 15 minutes from my house, but I make the drive out there because it is much better than salons near me. The only downside is that they at usually very busy, but I think that's a good sign of quality! They also stay open later during the week, until 8pm! read more

They are SO RUDE. Unless you want to be ignored DO NOT COME HERE. I got powder on my nails and one broke off within 2 days so I went back and they ignored me for almost 2 hours. Extremely rude. All they care is about money and not service. I am extremely upset and they saw me walk out but didn't care to say anything because they knew they weren't receiving money. read more

A great place to get mani/pedis! VERY clean and professional. They tell you how much you're going to pay before the perform the service and are great communicators of what you're going to get. Usually get my nails done in mobile, al but was visiting auburn and needed my nails done. At first everything was off to a good start. I was seated right away and they quickly soaked off my precious S&S and put my hands in the warmer. After that she began to file and after repetitively telling her it was burning my nails she kept filing. The S&S application went smoothly however I noticed on some nails she didn't cover side to side completely. After telling her she gave me a nasty glance and kept going on with what she was doing. What really was my breaking point was when I was asked to pay before my nails were completed and I guess whenever i didn't tip her enough or what she expected my nails were sloppily and hastily finished and I was told to go sit at the dryer. All in all these aren't the worst nails I've had but they definitely are not the best. And I believe if you are going to pay $35+ for nail services then you should expect the best. Probably will not return and if I'm ever in the auburn area I will probably check out another salon. read more
