Finally decided to find a groomer and was so happy to find this cat only spa! Santina was super attentive and informative about what my cat likely needed and made me feel at ease. My boy does not take to brushing very easily and I was so impressed that he was able to get bathed, groomed, and even shaved some! He didn't seem overly anxious or stressed and went back to his usual dumb boy behavior shortly after returning home. Definitely a great experience! I was literally cutting his hair myself for the entirety of his year and 4 month old life. And then I found Couture Pawz! I am AMAZED at the job the ladies did with Doug. He is insanely anxious and would always snap at me when I tried grooming him, but he was an absolute angel at Couture Pawz! That alone speaks for their ability to calm an anxious dog. Doug is also very nervous around other dogs and when I went to pick him up, he was playing with the other dogs!! I almost didn't recognize him. His groom looks so so amazing and I could not speak more highly of the service. Everyone was incredibly sweet and I could tell Doug had a great time. Thank you Couture Pawz for transforming my anxious dog and giving him an amazing groom. The pictures show him after his groom and before. They even gave him a little bow tie and he also smells fabulous!!! I can't wait to now bring him for regular grooming. As someone who isn't familiar with grooming blade lengths, I was expecting a little guidance, but instead, I got attitude. When I picked up my dog, he looked fine at first glance, so I paid and even tipped. However, once we got home, I noticed a trail of blood and found a cut on his back foot. It's hard to believe the groomer didn't see this before handing him back to me. Either they ignored it, or they just weren't paying attention--neither of which is acceptable when working with animals. There was another groomer I saw who was more kind/welcoming but overall just not a good first experience and I won't be returning.

Our dog has been groomed twice with no issue before and she always came out looking spectacular…read more (see the picture) We brought our Golden Doodle (Daisy Mae) to Fuzzy Paws at a friends recommendation. First let me say our Doodle is brushed every day and her hair is fluffy and curly which means you cannot just run a brush or comb through it and she was bathed by us just two days ago. Here is the brush that is used everyday by us: https://www.petsmart.com/dog/grooming-supplies/brushes-combs-and-blowdryers/only-natural-pet-pin-bristle-dog-brush-58150.html I'm wrong but the definition of matted hair doesn't mean you are unable to run a comb through it with no resistance like clean and straight human hair. So about 10 minutes after we drop her off we get a call that her legs are matted and the areas behind her legs are also matted so they need to shave her down to of an inch. The grooming had already started on her body so it was my understanding that we had a couple of options: 1) Not groom her legs, 2) take her as she was, 3) let the grooming continue. Hind sight being perfect we should have had them stop immediately when they said she was matted and gone to pick up our dog. We are not pleased with the outcome as can be seen from the attached photos showing grooming completed by another groomer in May of 2025, a picture before she went to Fuzzy Paws, and when she came home from Fuzzy Paws. Our guess is that they don't want to take the time and do the job correctly but rather say the dog is matted shave them and move on to the next paying customer.
