I rarely get my nails done, my nails never come out the way I like so when I finally decide to get my nails done I want to go to a place where they'll do good job. It was a Sunday and they were busy, I waited about 20 mins before they sat me down, no problem. I picked my colors and in the middle of the nail tech painting my nails, the polish runs out and I have to settle and pick a different color. I asked for glitter ombré on a specific side of the nail and I got the opposite. I then go to charge and I'm told $50. I was charged $5 for some ombré that wasn't even what I wanted. When I came home, I started looking at my nails again and they're not even and are crooked. What a rip off. read more

Waited almost 40 minutes but i mean it was the day before christmas eve so it was expected. After about 30 minutes of waiting i got the gel colors to pick and the guy kept coming every 2 minutes asking if i picked yet... i dont like to get rushed. The environment was awkward. No music was played and all you heard was the guy and employees talking to each other very loudly. Not the ideal place for someone who experienced migraines like i do. I will give them 3 stars because the woman who did my nails did an amazing job at removing all the dead skin around my nails and the polish did not bubble or crack! I would give them a try again because of result and being new to the area and not wanting to drive to norwalk for my usual nail salon. This is a good substitute. Just wish they played some sort of music or didnt speak so loud. read more

My mom and aunt go here so often that half the women in my family go! The staff is very nice and the prices are amazing but like every salon in CT the color selection is lacking. They aren't up on the new trends of polishes and designs but for a quality mani and pedi for a reasonable price I would recommend this place. read more

I've been coming here for a few months and I've never had to wait. They always take their time, never rush and give awesome massages while your nails dry. They're all super nice and friendly, especially the owner. They're prices are 2-5 bucks more expensive than most nail salons but it's worth it! read more

SNS not! I went here last Sunday to get SNS and the person that did it May just didn't do a good job. Sunday night (same night) one nail chipped. I called Monday morning at 10am and spoke with Sylvia I think she is the owner or co-owner. Told her I work in New York and I could not likely get there until the weekend. At that time only the one had chipped. By Wednesday 4 on my right hand had chipped and 1 on my left. So I called back on Wednesday and spoke with Michael who said come in. Went there today Sunday August 12, 2018 and Michael started the process of redoing all my nails by soaking off the SNS. Sylvia came over and started doing on my nails about 10-15 mins later and the SNS just came right off that's how weak the product was on there. Most people have told me their SNS lasts 2-3 weeks. Within a week my came off with no effort. Then she started blaming me that my nails were broken and I was working too hard. I am an executive assistant. I mean come on. So I told her if she was going to have a bad attitude send someone else over. Finally after going back and forth about her bad attitude she went to the register and gave me back my $35. Don't waste your money. This place did not do a good job and honestly you don't need someone blaming you for the bad job they did. I barely write reviews. But if I could save someone the distress I went through it's worth me writing it. read more

The worst place I REPEAT. Worst place ! Was around the area with a group of 3 (4 including myself) and I had called to let them know everything we needed done and if we were able to go in do it given the fact that they were closing In a hour. Man on the phone says no problem come. Real nice over the phone. As soon as we got to the place me and the people I was with were being rushed to find a color. We didn't think nothing of it cause he said he can do everything. However, as soon as we sat down he comes to tell me he can't do a pedicure for me because they were closing soon. All the salons I've been to continue to take care of their customers even after their set closing time. That was not the case. My prom was the next day and I just really needed everything done. I asked for gel and gems on a finger the man looked at me like I was crazy . Not to mention they were way overpriced. My group decided to get up and leave we were not satisfied with the service. I wish I could give this place zero stars due to my terrible experience. To begin, on their website it says they are open until 7:30, this is apparently not true. I got there at 6:30 and asked for a mani pedi, I was the only person there and immediately had 3 different people working on me while I sat in the pedicure chair, this was not at all relaxing or enjoyable. The pedicure was a complete rush, did not get any massaging of my feet and he barely painted half way down my nails. Then I moved onto the manicure which was just as rushed, she did not use lotion or a top coat, she cut the nails on an angle and they came out crooked. She did a terrible job but I had already paid and tipped so I tried to suck it up. About two minutes into drying a manicurist came over and began touching my nails, I pulled my hands away and explained that they were not dry yet and showed her that she had smudged two. Her solution to fixing this was dabbing a topcoat over the smudges which made them look worse. She then put the oil drops on my nails and a mere three minutes later came over with a paper towel and started wiping my nails, again smudging several of them. At this point I was beyond frustrated, I showed her that she had just smudged more and was clearly upset, she said come back tomorrow and she would fix it as they were going to close. Despite the terrible service I went back the next day, this time over an hour before close and the salon was not opened! There was no reason for it to be closed on a Wednesday and even the hours on the door said it should be opened. This was hands down the worst nail experience I have ever had, I completely wasted over $40 (they charge $5 to soak off gel polish by the way), I will NEVER be going back here and I strongly suggest no one else does either. read more

I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. I used to highly recommend this place up until my most recent experience. I paid $60 for a full set with gel polish and two days later I noticed my acrylic lifting from my nail beds. I called and advised them of the problem and was told to come in to have them fixed. When I got there, I showed my nails to the same nail tech who did them two days prior and he told me it was just my gel lifting. They then filed off all of my gel and reassured me 3 times that they checked my nail beds and all acrylic was in tact. So I showed her AGAIN where at least 6 of my nails were lifting. Then she said" I'll only fix one nail." I then asked for a refund since my nails weren't getting fixed and was denied that too. I then had to go to BEAUTIFUL NAILS and have them redone where that nail tech said 8 out of 10 nails had to be redone. Terrible customer service, and when they make mistakes they take no steps to rectify them. Don't get your nails done here unless you want fucked up nails and empty wallet . read more

DO NOT GO HERE. If I could attach photographs of the horrific manicure/pedicure job that was done here, it would shock you. My nails look dirty and were not cleaned underneath. Additionally, this place does not sanitize their tools between each customer. I was shocked! The girl feigned not knowing English and when I asked for my money back I was refused. I asked to speak to the owner/manager and was told the owner does not visit more than once every couple of months! I will never return to this nail salon ever again. Waited an hour for them to do a pedicure and gel manicure only to be told that they wouldn't have time to do my manicure once my pedicure was done because they were closing. Meanwhile they took a customer while I was getting my pedicure and did her manicure and pedicure at the same time but didn't offer me that luxury. And no she didn't have an appointment. This was the worst pedicure I've received in over 20 years of getting pedicures. I only went to this place because it was convenient. And I felt bad about the crash that hurst so many workers last year and wanted to support the business. As soon as I sat in the chair I had second thoughts. One of the workers just rinsed the foot basin of the chair next to me. No disinfectant. So right there I realized cleanliness is an issue. The water in my basin was on the cold side of lukewarm. They'd already run the water before I even walked in the door. The suds were flat. The chairs were uncomfortable. The remote for my chair didn't work. The pedicure itself was quick and perfunctory. She didn't speak to me. She didn't shape my nails, just a quick file. Applied cheap, watery lotion and gave a weak ass foot massage while talking to her co-worker. She didn't understand English when I asked her to massage my arch not my toes.The owner was mostly interested in the World Cup soccer game on all the tvs in the place. I didn't get a top coat, didn't have my heels scrubbed and my feet were ashy by the time I got to the dryer. I wasted 20 bucks on terrible service. I won't be back and I told everyone I know in Stratford to never go there. read more
