I am fair skinned, with red hair, so I was a little apprehensive as to the outcome. Today is ,of course, too soon to tell but I will follow up on that part of the review! I did, however, want to comment on how AWESOME the location is of her SUPER cute salon. She has it decorated and arranged in such a way that makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Beyond that, she is a super amazingly talented artist who LOVES what she does. She took her time explaining the process, she showed me around the salon and showed me all of the tools she'd be using (brand new, sterile, still sealed in packaging), she went over placement and colors, and while she did ask my opinion, I felt really confident leaving most of it up to her! So on we went, she turned on the heated bed, I laid back, she covered my legs with a warm cozy blanket, turned on some meditation music, and asked if there was anything else I needed before we got started. At this point, I was in heaven! Being a busy, working mom, quiet time like this is precious. I was ready to begin. So after measuring and choosing a color, Toni applied the numbing agent to the area and stepped out for a moment to allow my brow area to become numb and me to RELAX. I could've honestly slept there for days!! After a few minutes she returned and got started. The pain was nothing to get worked up over, I'd compare it to someone dragging a needle over the top layer of your skin, not something you can't tolerate. During the process she stopped and measured again and had me sit up to take a look. And before I knew it, she was done. I do have to say, this process takes trust. The brows are bigger and darker in the 1st few days, which I was prepared for from all I had read about leading up to deciding to finally go through with it... but when you meet Toni and you spend some time talking as we had, and she explains the process to you, you can feel comfortable knowing you are in good hands. And if nothing else, she DOES know how to remove them or correct them if needed, since she has experience in tattoo removal as well! I'll be seeing Toni at the end of February for my touch up and that is when I will post again and include before and after photos, but don't be surprised if you find me here again, Toni offers a variety of other services and between her love of beauty and her dedication to creating a beautifully pleasing outcome for her clients, I don't doubt that I'll be seeing her often!

She informed me that there was no other appointments and I let her know that I would try my best to rearrange my schedule but I would be a little late. She assured me multiple times that "Yes, it is fine. Come into the salon anyway and the lash tech will be able to take you." My appointment was for 9:30am. Both the owner and the lash tech had all my contact information. The owner assured me that the lash tech would call or text me and reach out to me prior to my appointment with her availability so that we could arrange another time. The lash tech never called or texted. The salon had ample time to contact me to inform me that I would not be able be have my service done. Since the lash tech never followed up, I had to only have correspondence with the owner who was away on a trip to Vegas. I was on the phone with the owner as I was walking into the salon to confirm yet again that everything was good to go and that I would be able to have my lashes done. After hanging up with owner and upon entering the lash salon I was greeted very rudely by the lash tech who - instead of just politely asking to reschedule or letting me know the options she would be able to complete in the given time frame - immediately asks me "What's the reason you need your lash's done today?" "Is there a reason?" which was very off putting. I had prepaid already for my Full Volume Lash Set and since I'm visiting only for the weekend I had to order pick up & drop off to the salon. I told her I was visiting and wanted the volume set I had pre-purchased. She told me that she couldn't do anything about it. She kept repeating that she didn't have time and refused my service. The owner had given the lash tech all my contact info at 6am. If that was the case and she knew she couldn't fit me into her schedule she should of had the common courtesy of informing me herself before having me go out of my way to the salon after having to rearrange my schedule to accommodate her. The lash tech never offered to reschedule for another time for the weekend and never offered to refund my prepaid amount while I was in the salon. I had to call the owner yet again while she was away on her trip to have her do a refund, which was very unpleasant and unprofessional. Poor customer service.
