This has been a much overdue review!! [Disclaimer: I used to get my lashes done regularly about 3 years ago with another lash artist and stopped altogether because 1) it fell off so easily 2) it was so time consuming 3)because I had to go back so much, it got costly.] But CATT made me a believer again and has me hooked back on eyelash extensions! Catt is phenomenal! I was referred to her by two friends who's eyelashes looked so amazing, I had to know their secret. I initially went to Cat to get lashes for my wedding since I hate how false lashes looked on me. OH MY GOD you guys they looked SO good! If you are getting them for a special event, I recommend going at least 2 months prior so that your lashes can get used to them. The first time you get them done, your lashes might shed more than normal since they are not used to it. Catt slowly built on top of the lash extensions, adding a bit more each time so that by the time my wedding hit - I had the most amazing lashes I could have ever asked for. Friends, family members, and my bridesmaids could not stop complimenting my lashes - they looked so good you guys! I am now hooked and just love having them. Hands down, eyes closed, arms tied behind my back - Catt is THE best lash artist I have ever had, and believe me, I have seen a fair share of lash techs in my day. I almost don't want to share this review because i'm kind of selfish and I don't want to share her, but also want people to feel the pure satisfaction that I get when I see a beautifully crafted set of lashes done by someone who really cares about her work. It's just so hard to find a good lash tech these days, and I feel that Catt is one of those gems that are really hard to find, but when you do, you never want to let go! From the moment you step into your appointment, you are greeted by this adorable smiling face who is always happy to see you. Then you lay down on a nice, comfy bed which almost always leads to an awesome nap. I kid you not, i've caught myself snoring several times throughout of my visits. *Sorry, Catt!* Catt is also VERY experienced. I find myself getting out of my appointment in a much shorter amount of time compared to other lash techs i've gone to, and by NO means does this imply that the appointment is rushed. I would like to start out by saying Catt is an excellent lash artist! I have been getting lash extensions for about 3 1/2 years now and been with Catt for the last year. She is so amazingly talented. Not only does she do great 3-D lashes that look perfectly suited to my eyes, but she does them fast, which is important to me as a busy working mom!! She's always looking for the best new products. It takes a veteran of lash extensions to know these things as I have tried many other places/artist over the last few years. She will also educate you on caring for them and is always very professional and accommodating! If you're going to invest in lashes this is the artist you want! And in defense of Catt she always adds as many lashes as she can - everytime!! For newbies, if you have her do this, just know that you will shed more because of the weight. So sometimes because you have less natural lashes to work with they might not always be as full as times when they are in a growth period. Fact: No lash artist can avoid this. Also, I have had all the fancy pads to hold the lower lashes down at other places, and in my experience the serum on them made my eyes water a lot causing the glue to not adhere as well. Catt is the BEST. This review is very long over due. I have gone to her for over 2 years now and have followed her where ever she has gone even if it meant more driving for me- so worth it. I started with the regular extensions and then she convinced me to move to the volume lashes which in the long run have actually saved me money because they last much longer and like she said, were way better for my lashes. I get compliments everywhere I go. She keeps them looking natural which is exactly what i wanted. Catt is THE best! I got my lashes done somewhere else before her and they weren't nearly as good. When Catt does my volume lashes, they are so full and they still look good a couple weeks after. They don't get all twisted or grown out like they used to with the other girl who did my lashes. She is quick too, I'm usually done with my fills less than an hour. Catt was amazing! This was my first time getting eyelash extensions and I was extremely nervous. I naturally have very long eyelashes but can't stand having to put mascara on all the time, so I finally decided to get them. I also travel a lot so they make it very convenient. I contacted her asking details about how the process works and she was great about explaining everything. From the moment I walked through the door she made me feel very comfortable. I really wanted to leave a good review, because Catt is so sweet and friendly. However, my eyelashes are a mess. I bought a Groupon to Lashh Mi after reading all the great reviews. It was my first time getting eyelash extensions and may be my last. It's day 4, and my lashes are tangled and clumped together. Some of my real lashes have fallen out, because on several of them, she glued 2 extensions per lash. I think that was too much for my lashes to take-they're falling out now. Also, she put more eyelashes on one eye than the other, so I look lopsided. Although, she tried to even it out when I brought attention to it, the effort was a bit unsuccessful, because she didn't know how much weight my lashes could take. I would've preferred a proper assessment of my lashes before beginning, cause I would've opted for less lashes on both eyes as long as they looked the same. So now I've got one eye with a ton of lashes, and the other eye which is starting to bald due to the double glued extensions per lash. The eye that has a ton of extensions on it is a mess full of clumped together lashes that are literally tangled. I cannot get them untangled, because she didn't give me a brush-I read most places give you one. She told me that she doesn't give them out, because her clients tend to brush too much and the extensions fall out. I really feel like I wasted a lot of money (even with the Groupon it was expensive), and I look like a crazy person. I wish I could get these extensions off without losing all of my natural eyelashes. read more
