Amazing! I got eyelashes as a birthday gift and I am hooked. I literally don't know how I lived before them. I haven't touched mascara or an eyelash curler in months and it is super reasonably priced to do touch ups once a month. Emily is a doll and she is so full of life. I can't remember the name of the girl who did my lashes but the end result was terrible. I left the salon initially looking just ok, not too impressed. By the next morning, it looked like I had two smashed Daddy Long Leg spiders for eyelashes. They were twisted all over the place and I already had bald spots from them falling out so much. I called the girl and requested for her to take them off and my money back. The conversation was just terribly awkward as I asked for my money back. There was never an apology or an acknowledgment of a not so great job. I couldn't wait to grab my money and escape the awkward silence in the room. 1 star for refunding me. I am addicted!! Having blue eyes and dark eyebrows i couldn't leave the house without eye makeup. Now i can skip the whole eye makeup all together now that i have dark long lashes :). Emily does an incredible job. I have "cheated" on her once while she was out of town. It was a BIG MISTAKE. That day my lashes were already falling out. I was really disappointed by the lash extensions I got from Lash Atelier. I really wanted to like Emily's service but I think the quality of lashes she used and the way she did them was horrible. First of all it was really expensive, $180. She was really friendly, and the salon was very beautifully decorated. Honestly I don't know what happened because she has such great reviews on yelp...that's why I drove way out of my way to get them done for the first time. The lashes felt really brittle, and very sparsely placed. After about 1-2 days they were already falling off...had to resort to using mascara until I could get them fixed. Thank goodness a friend recommended Wendy @ Poshe in Clairemont area...she showed me how lashes are supposed to be. She took Emily's completely off and gave me the softest lushest set of lashes a girl could ever dream of! It was a fraction of the price too. Fills every three weeks are only $30. I'm sorry I got less than satisfactory service, I thought there was something wrong with my natural lashes in general but comparing the service side by side, Emily just fell short. read more

Love...Love...Love my lash extensions by Emily at Lash Atelier! She does such an outstanding job! They are full, long, dark, look fabulous and last a long time. I love that I can wake up and run out the door without having to fuss over curling my lashes and then applying 100 coats of mascara and even then, they don't look as good as they do when I get the extensions by Lash Atelier. I'm blonde with somewhat naturally long lashes, but you wouldn't know because they are light and they also grow downward... so the lash extensions are perfect to enhance my look and the curl make me look more awake and fresh! I've been getting my lashes done by Emily for over 6 months now and I am 100% obsessed. They are so great if you are low maintenance and like waking up every morning with big beautiful eyes looking like you got a full night of sleep. Her salon is super clean and relaxing; she always has a candle lit and cool music to listen to as you get your lashes done. She is appointment only, which is nice because she focuses on you the entire time and there isn't all that chatter around you like in other salons. The process takes about an hour but it is so pleasant I wish it would take longer; it's like an hour in the spa! Though I was hesitant to get them the first time, her sterilized set of tools and overall cleanliness were reassuring. She has different lengths of lashes and can style them in a variety of ways. Sometimes I go in and get super over the top dramatic lashes and other times I go for the more natural look. My friends and coworkers always have something to say about them though because they are so beautiful. Emily is super welcoming, sweet, and fun to talk to. WOW!!! Hands down the best place to go get lashes. I have been getting lashes for quite some time now, I bought a groupon to get a full set on for $50 at some other lash studio and it did not even look full or even. I had to get another fill within 2 weeks because I was not happy with my results and they kept falling out right away. I tried some other places and it was funny because the exact thing kept happening so I was getting fills every 2 weeks. But that is exactly how I came across this place and met Emily. I could not believe how natural she made them look it seriously blew me away! People cant tell that I have eye lash extensions on. The Best part about these lashes are that it took about two weeks for even one lash to fall out! Now I get fills every 3-4 like I wanted. I have been meaning to write a review for Lash Atelier for a while now, so here we go. This place is awesome!!! I was hesitant to get eyelash extensions again, since my first experience at Benefit didn't go so well, but I am glad I came in!! At benefit, as soon as my lashes came out I was left with balding in my lashes, but NOT at Lash Atelier. Erica and Emily are so sweet and are experts at what they do. You can tell they really love what they are doing and they are perfectionists when it comes to making your lashes look perfect. I made an appointment with Erica and Emily for a girlfriend and I to get our lashes done for her birthday. I took all the advice that Erica gave me about caring for my lashes so that they lasted as long as possible. Erica told me that my lashes would last anywhere from 2-4 weeks, but I swear to you my lashes were full up until 6 weeks. My girlfriend got her lashes done with Emily and hers turned out just as great. I definitely recommend trying this place out if you are going on vacation or just want long lashes.
