Apparently lashbar paid to have my review hidden which shows how sketchy of a place they truly are so I am reposting ... run don't walk far far away from this place .. If I could leave zero stars I would this was the worst experience of my entire life .. do not and I repeat DO NOT go to Jillian .. she will leave a chemical burn on your eye ball .. see pictures below. In addition .. lash bar will do nothing to correct it. They made very little attempt to "fit me in" to their schedule or offer a refund .. great .. I kept asking if it was normal .. at first she said no and gave me and fan and then she said it was probably just glue fumes despite my eye crying and burning the entire time .. just the one eye .. and when I was done they didn't look how I wanted them to and my eyes were burning and tearing .. just thought it was maybe part of the process as I had never gotten lashes done before but as the night went on it got worse and worse I woke up to a crusted shut tearing completely bloodshot eye .. just the one eye .. the one where the bonder got into it and it was burning the entire time. I am just blown away by how this company handled this situation I was literally treated like an animal who did something wrong when I all I did was lay there and trust them .. additionally .. I got them done yesterday at 215 .. lashes have already started flying off .. so says a lot for their retention .. my best guess is if you have to go there ask for Janelle and only Janelle she seems to be the only one with skills but honestly I would avoid like the plague based on their business practices and how they treat their client when they mess up .. that's their true colors and it's absolutely horrifying .. save your money! read more

I miss the days when they ask you if you wanted water/champagne when you come in. I noticed that even though you asked for complimentary champagne when you're booking the appointment, they seem to "forget" to give it to you. And they don't always asked if you wanted to tint your lashes when you're getting a lash lift. Even though it's optional, you're booking an appointment for "lash lift + tint". Recently I saw Anna (I think that was my third time seeing her). She texted me to ask me to show up earlier than my appointment, and only "remembered" to give me the complimentary champagne AFTER my appointment ended which was also right BEFORE I was about to drive off. I checked out their new location here in Solana Beach yesterday and it's just as gorgeous as the Kearny Mesa shop! Booking online was super easy and convenient. I was able to select the style of lashes I wanted and also my preferred time slot. They also send a text reminder, which is really helpful since I can be forgetful! haha. The shop is super gorgeous! I love the ambiance and decor inside, it's definitely glamorous! I want them to re-decorate my room haha Tran is the best lash stylist! She's super sweet and great with her craft! She uses a very light hand and makes the process comfortable enough that I could fall asleep haha. She applied the Volume Doll Lashes on me that were D-Curl. My lashes are so luscious and fluffy! It's the perfect style for any glam girl! I love it when she does my lashes since my natural lashes don't hold a curl. It's definitely a confidence booster. I feel great without having to put on eye shadow or eyeliner. The lash extensions make you feel gorgeous without adding any extra steps to your daily routine! I had the best experience at Lashbar Solana Beach! I went in after requesting a quote for a Volume Set from several lash salons near me. Tran replied right away and said that she could fit me in the following day. When I walked in, Tran met me in the lobby and began the consultation process. She explained lash style, length of lash, curl style, my eye shape, etc. and what her recommendation would be for a beautiful end result. She was so patient and friendly with me. She answered all my questions and even took the time to see the pictures on my phone I'd brought in to show her. We decided on my set and she got to work. The process took 1 1/2 hours. Tran is a Master Stylist and very adept at applying lashes which cuts down on the session time significantly. The process itself is very relaxing. I dozed off and didn't feel a thing. The table is comfy with pillows for your neck and legs. And, there's relaxing, soothing music playing overhead. It's a great ambiance. Final result is perfect! I'm very happy. The lashes look so natural; not too much and just enough. I have very sparse, light, thin lashes so the Volume set was the perfect choice. I'm happy with the length and curl also.
