It's been so long since I've had a facial and it was time! Today (Labor Day) I had nothing else to do and Smartface was open! Smartface is super close to all my spots (Carruth in particular). They have a newer esthetician (Natalie) who had availability . I scheduled a 50 min "Enhanced" facial with nano infusion and red light LED therapy. The Nano infusion is a deep hydration. The red light is anti aging and boost collagen and reduces inflammation. Both of these treatments are so perfect for me! she picked the treatments based on my statement that I'm concerned about aging skin and hyperpigmentation. Natalie was super attentive and was able to pick my treatments based on my needs. The space itself... super easy parking beautiful and girly space. I felt so relaxed. the treatment room had spa music playing that practically lulled me to sleep. I felt so ridiculously relaxed. I'm not a big spender but I'm about ready to check out their membership programs (which includes a monthly treatment and discounts on treatments and products) 100% ...check this place out! I received an elite facial. Sarah took care of me and from her assessment of my skin she recommended extractions, red light therapy and a chemical peel. My skin feels so smooth and looks brighter. The arm and hand massage was to die for! I had knots in my shoulder and she kept working them out too. I love how the whole facial was a face massage. Just AMAZING. I had an amazing experience getting my first facial as an adult with Kiki! I used to struggle with acne when I was younger and have neglected my skin in the last few years since my breakouts stopped. Although I don't have as much acne as I used to, I definitely struggle with combination skin and the beginning of fine lines as I get closer to my 30's. Kiki was so sweet, funny and knowledgeable and walked me through my facial as she was doing it. She told me about the different products and treatments each worked, one worked by stimulating collagen to help with elasticity, one exfoliated and helped with cell turnover, And others gently cleared my pores that are often clogged and appear large on my combination skin.
