I have been a raving fan and client of Alexis K. Beauty for over 18 years. This is my happy place and Alexis is the best brow artist on the planet. She keeps my brows on their A game and my skin in such fantastic shape that I rarely bother wearing makeup. (If you haven't tried microneedling yet, it is a total GAME CHANGER for your skin!) Alexis K is an absolute master of her craft and consistently offers the absolute top of the line skincare, products and facials. Her signature offerings are always on the cutting edge and she never stops evolving and bringing her clients the very best. I also love that I don't have to go to multiple places for my beauty, product and skincare services; I can do it all here in the comfort of her gorgeous treatment rooms. I recommend Alexis without hesitation and can't sing her praises enough. She is knowledgeable about the industry, passionate about what she does and SO consistent in the services she provides. In addition to her expertise, she is kind, warm and always makes you feel like she has set aside time especially for you. I am ride or die 100% faithful to Alexis and will not let anyone else touch my skin or brows. read more

Alexis is an eyebrow rock star! She absolutely knows how to make your brows grow and develop them to shape your face. I would highly recommend her! read more

I had my eyebrows done and lashes tinted here. The eyelash tinting didn't last and my eyebrows took 2 minutes. Not a friendly warm experience which can sometimes make it worth it. Super expensive. I would go somewhere else. read more

For 10 years I have being going to Alexis K, and the consistency of professionalism and quality from Alexis and her staff has always been amazing whether its just brows, a beauty flash, or a luxurious facials. The best part is that I know I am in good hands with all of the girls at Alexis K. read more

I mean if you haven't gone to Alexis for your brows, what are you waiting for?! She is the absolute sweetest person and does an amazing job!

I've been going to this world class salon for years. This is the only place I can go to for true relaxation and the best facials you can imagine. They also have incredible products sold both in the store and online. The customer service and level of expertise in this field is unparalleled. I can't wait to go back! read more

Hi Tried this new place today. So expensive!!! $40 for a mediocre wax! Woman was very nice- but I would never go back. It was ordinary, quick and much too expensive. Ugh! read more

I visited the new Alexis K. location in Franklin and she was amazing! It was the first time that someone had actually come up with a 'brow plan' for me and showed me exactly what to do. Her communication is great, she is thoughtful, and I never felt rushed. You can tell she knows what she is doing and I love the results. The salon is adorable and in a great location. If you are looking for someone in the area, look no further. read more

I've had two services here- eyebrow microblading and also facial dermaplaning. Both services by Chrissy L, who is a pro at what she does. She's really knowledgeable about product, answers all your concerns (as silly as some of mine were :P) Microblading is awesome bc it gave me the eyebrows I've always wished I had- Chrissy gave advice on color for my "new" brows, and ended up mixing two colors to my liking. It's definitely a process but so worth it! Now even if I'm not wearing makeup, my eyebrows really frame my face. The facial dermaplaning was great too. My skin was feeling rough and sandpaper-like, so this was needed! It takes away your peach fuzz and dead skin cells. I feel like a new person and my makeup goes on SO smooth now! Alexis's style and taste in the salon is so chic and upscale, I really felt like I was treating myself. They run specials every so often, so check those out. I follow the salon on Instagram, which is where I learn about their services and offers. The environment is low key and comfortable so even someone like me (I don't frequent salons much) feels at ease. All the girls are so friendly and make you feel good. Highly recommend! read more

The space is SO pretty and the girls were all very accommodating. I didn't know I needed a brow tint but WOW what a difference. My treatment with Claudia was amazing! Can't wait to be back. :) read more

Brianne is the best! My eyebrows look amazing and she is the best listener! I love coming to Alexis K!

I didn't have Alexis as my brow shaper, I had her protegee, Christie, who was very nice and informative but doesn't have the same experience that Alexis has. Christie charges $30 while Alexis charges $40. I think I should have waited to see when Alexis would be available and pay the extra $10. Granted my brows are hard to deal with, I had at least hoped for better results. Service: Christie was extremely nice and easy to talk to. She gave me some great information on where to grow out my brows and products that help with brow growth. However, I didn't leave with symmetrical brows even after powder was applied. I was hoping that after the wax and shaping, she could at least make my brows look fuller and even but this was not the case. Although I didn't believe the technical service was that great. She did provide great customer service and had perfect brows of her own. Location: It's in beautiful Del Mar but drive slow cause the house is pretty easy to miss. Their are some spaces available for parking, but not a lot. Limited street parking is available too. Don't be fooled by the different signs outside. There are about 3 different businesses at this house. As long as you have the right address, you're in the right place. Final thoughts: I would say that if you're really picky about your brows or have hard to maintain brows, wait for Alexis. It might be worth it. read more

I have been seeing Alexis for over 20 years. I have never ever been unhappy with my brows. I have moved out of state but visit frequently and I always schedule an appointment with Alexis K. Love Love Love what theses amazing ladies do. read more

Went to Alexis' new location in Solana Beach today for brow wax and glycolic peel. I FEEL LIKE A NEW WOMAN! After having a baby, my primping routine was axed due to lack of time and energy, and well, caring. Alexis just slapped some pretty back into me! My skin feels wonderful after the glycolic - it's a quick 10 minutes and you are good as new! Not uncomfortable at all (as some peels can be). Plus she did a stellar-as-always job on my brows. I'll be back for the Diamond facial (I think there's a b.o.g.o 1/2 off special for the month of June) to keep going with getting my skin back on track. Also learned about the 'feathering' treatment for brows today. Sort of like tatooing (same techniques) but it's demi-permanent and not as harsh looking. They said that it requires touch up every 2 or so years. I've always loved the idea of not having to pencil in my brows every day...it'd save so much time in getting ready routine...ask my daughter - I (aka 'she') definitely need it!! Looking forward to learning more about it and hopefully giving it a try... Thanks for a great day Alexis! I'll be back soon! read more

Everyone here is very nice and they do a good job but they are way way over priced. I still go back so I guess I have no right to complain but I feel they'd get a lot more business if they'd just lower the prices a little or offer specials to current customers. I only see Brianne once every 6 months because I just can't afford to see her every 6 weeks when my brows need help. I get derma planing in Temecula for half the price and it also includes a mini facial. I'm alway so 50/50 on this place. I've never had a bad experience but they are just ridiculous with their pricing. I say all of this as I make an apt to see Brianne tomorrow lol. Bottom line, if you can afford it, go. If not, there are other cheaper places that also do a great job. read more

Alexis K saved my skin for my wedding!! With all the stress of planning a destination wedding and my florist canceling on the wedding two weeks before the day, it's safe to say I was a whole lot stressed and my skin flared up the week of my wedding! I went to Alexis K to get my eyebrows done with Brianne. She asked how I was doing and I spilled the beans! Being the sweet human that she is she asked Katie if she could fit me in right then for an emergency facial (as I call it). Katie and Brianne brainstormed the best custom facial for my skin. Katie took time from her lunch to help me calm my inflamed skin and help me relax before I jumped on a plane the next morning! I am beyond grateful to this gorgeous studio and these amazing women! You saved my skin just in time for my Hawaiian wedding! I 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting help to get fresh skin and wanting to relax! Brianne and Katie thank you from the bottom of my heart! read more

I am new to area, moved here from Philadelphia. I was so pleased with Alexis K - she is top notch and if you demand perfection - you will get it. Alexis did my brows and brow tint and it looks awesome and really defines my eyes - very happy. I will be back AND when my girls visit from Philly - I'm taking them to her. read more

BEST PLACE IN TOWN! Being in the business I have had many treatments and brow waxes in my day. It is always nice to be pampered but it is even better when you walk out actually feeling more beautiful. I can honestly say I had NO IDEA eyebrows could look so good and make such a HUGE difference in your appearance. I also rec'd a treatment from Julie. She is an expert in her field and I would not go to anyone else. She will do what is right for your skin and your skin only. If you have a place you are going now CONSIDER A SWITCH and visit the gals at Alexis K. read more

First off this brow spa is adorable and has a really great vibe. I saw Katie for my lashes and she did an amazing job. She was easy to talk to and made the whole experience comfortable. I love my lashes !! My next service, i want to get my brows done or a spray tan. read more

I FINALLY have eyebrows!!! Wooohooo!! Thanks Alexis!! I've always wanted to get my eyebrows tinted, as they are so light you can't see them, but I was too nervous to just try any place so I hopped on yelp and found Alexis K. She did an amazing job tinting and shaping my eyebrows! I feel and look like a new woman! What a great experience! read more

Even though my eyes were closed, I knew I was in good hands as Alexis expertly waxed and tweezed my brows back in shape. She cleaned up and shaped my brows assuredly and quickly, all the while explaining what she was doing and how to maintain my brows (as I'm currently in a 6-month brow rehab!). She also had me look in a mirror at the end of the service and gave me a tutorial on how to artfully define my brows with powder and gel. After just one visit, I noticed a huge difference! I am quite impressed with how much well-groomed brows can enhance your facial features! Her fee is a bit higher than others, but I feel like I'm getting my money's worth. I don't know how she does it, or whether she's using an awesome wax, but I noticed that maintenance/plucking between services is minimal after going to Alexis. I'm so glad I found this superior service so close to my home! read more

Love Alexis K! When I moved here, it was 7 months before my wedding and, not naming the place back home but they messed up my brows :( But! Alexis saved the day! I have been going to her for about a year now and I get compliments on my brows all the time! Not to mention her staff is amazing! read more

I came here today and it almost did not seem like a place of business because the employees all seem happy to be here. The owner is very encouraging and supportive with her staff. I wish more place were run like this. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The salon feels very fancy but with out pretense. Great experience. I will definitely be coming back to see San Diego's top rated eye brow spa. read more

From the moment I walked in I was in love! It was calming and very professional but not uptight or too casual I left feeling very informed, taken care of and excited to return! read more

Everyone kept telling me my eyebrows were too thin and out dated so I decided I wanted to have them reshaped. But when asking for referrals people were pointing me towards nail salons or little hole in the wall places. I continued to ask around until a friend of mine told me about Alexis K. The drive was a bit far for my but I was willing to give it a shot. The drive was definitely worth it! Claudia has done an amazing job reshaping my brows. Not only was she gentile and professional, she explained to me what she was doing, and how they are supposed to look. This way I can maintain them correctly between visits. Now, my brows have grown in and look amazing. She even tinted them for me since they are very light. Thank you so much Claudia! I look like a different woman and I LOVE it!!!!! read more

I have been to Alexis K multiple times now and cannot say enough great things about this place and the ladies that work here! Alexis and her team are SO sweet and make you feel so welcome and relaxed. I've been here for spray tans, facials and brows and I am obsessed. The airbrush spray tan is the best I've ever gotten, I was the perfect shade of bronze-not orange at all and the formula they use fades without getting all splotchy. Yesterday I tried their new C-cool facial with Brianne and I was so impressed with the technology they use and how glowy my skin was when she was done. It was so relaxing and I still can't get over how great my skin looks! read more

I just finished my first facial at Alexis K. and WOW! Socks blown off! Upon arrival Alexis K. is gorgeous inside, smells so wonderful - so good, the scent will catch your attention! I was immediately greeted by warm, friendly, smiling faces. The treatment room was just as stunning as the rest of the spa - very clean, had the great aroma of a spa, included thoughtful touches and pretreatment rituals and extremely relaxing (as soon as I laid on the bed I sunk in and felt so cozy) My esthetician Chrissy, was so pleasant from start to finish. She educated me on my treatment, my skin and what I was experiencing all while letting me completely relax and escape. She has an excellent touch and is very knowledgeable about your skin and how to deliver amazing results. I received the Rose Gua Sha facial, and every aspect completely exceeded my expectations. It's a result-driven treatment that delivers ultimate relaxation (my ideal facial treatment) Although it's my first facial, I loved this particular facial so much, I already can't wait to experience it again. Hands down not only was it an exceptional experience from start to finish, it was the best facial I've EVER received. (You can take my word for it, I've had numerous facials at numerous spas, high end spa's and resorts and this one takes the cake!) Thanks to Chrissy for being so knowledgeable and a skin master, I walked out with absolutely glowing skin. Thank you Alexis K. for providing an exceptional experience, I cannot wait to return! Thank you!! read more

The ladies and services at Alexis K are fabulous! I don't get to go as often as I would like but when I do I always leave happy and relaxed! My sister on the other hand goes here as often as she possibly can as it is truly her happy place. Her skin, brows and lashes look truly amazing....so much so that when we are out people ask who is the older sister because even though she is the older one her skin looks that good. I always tell her how amazing her skin looks without makeup! My mom goes here as well so all in all, it is a family love affair we have with Alexis K;) read more

Nothing but wonderful things to say about Alexis K. studio! Everyone is friendly and professional. Claudia is an excellent esthetician and I won't go anywhere else! read more

Last week I had my first appointment at Alexis K. I had my brows shaped, tweezed, and tinted (by recommendation). Then, I had a custom facial, not knowing any details. I must say that Claudia took excellent care of me and my skin. I felt like I stepped up a level when it comes to my skin care. I was glowing! Now I know where women go that look extra special! The small but comfortable salon felt welcoming and like a family. Everyone was friendly and no one tried to sell me products. That's important to me. I'll be heading back for their Mother's Day special in May. I'm hooked! read more

I have been coming to Alexis K for various services for about 2 years. Most of the time I book appointments for eye brow waxing and lash tinting. I've seen Mia, Brianne AND finally booked an appointment with Alexis. I've always been very satisfied with my services regardless of who I see. TODAY I visited Celeste who gave me the most amazing spray tan. I haven't had a spray tan in years...in my previous experiences I've always felt "orange" and I eventually just stopped trying spray tans. I couldn't be happier with the results from today. Celeste was so nice and made me feel very comfortable about the process. It took about 15-20 minutes for the standard option (they offer an express option where you can shower much sooner) / both services take the same amount of time. I am nearly 8 hours in and I have noticed the tan develop throughout the day. The color is very natural and even / not blotchy or orange. I'd highly recommend Celeste and Alexis K -- there are a few other options for spray tans in my neighborhood BUT these are ladies you can trust to do an amazing job. read more

Such a wonderful group of professionals in a clean, relaxing, peaceful, and efficient setting with outstanding results. They are trustworthy women dedicated to providing their clients with the best possible services. They also have an incredible skincare line and make it super easy to shop online and have the products delivered right to my doorstep! read more

I had been growing out my eyebrows for several months just so that I could get them perfectly shaped by someone who really knows what they were doing. I read all the good reviews about Alexis K on yelp and also learned that she was previously trained by Anastasia S. of Beverly Hills (where I've gotten a great eyebrow waxing several times in the past). The first time I went to Alexis K, she told me herself that I needed more hair on my eyebrows and talked me into by LiBrow for 150 bucks. I was use that and continue to grow out my brows and come back after I got more growth. I came back to see her a couple months later and regretted it. The process was painful and left my skin very irritated for several days afterwards. The shape was not defined nor did it complement my face. I could have done a better job plucking at home. When I got in the car and was able to get a better look at myself I saw that they pencil that she had used a color that made my brows look unatural because it did not go with my brow color or hair color. She didn't even use brow gel on me. I'd have to say that this was the worst brow shaping job/ experience that I have ever had and the most I've ever had to pay for it. read more

What a waste of $40. I am picky about eyebrows. I like my thick and full, but every time I get them waxed they are done way too thin. I feel like the world wants me to have unnaturally thin eyebrows, and this place was no exception. I chose to go here because of something she said on her website about how she thinks thicker eyebrows look better. Apparently Alexis doesn't train her staff to think like that also because Brianne waxed and waxed and tweezed and tweezed. I actually cried when I left. If I ever choose to go back then I will pay the extra ten bucks and see Alexis. read more

Always have a great experience at Alexis K, these ladies know brows...and beauty!

Such a cute place. I always love my brows SO much when I see Alexis. She is kind, charming, and very talented. I have had a hole in one of my brows for 20 years! She fixed it in 3 visits. I am so happy not to drive 2.5 hours to LA. There is perfection right here in North County! Thank you Alexis K! read more

I LOVE Alexis K! The studio is gorgeous, it's right in the heart of the Cedros Design District, and the Alexis K team is TOP NOTCH!
