I went to her so disappointed with the lash extensions I had from a previous tech, and left thrilled with my new ones. The entire appointment was calming, comfortable, and professional. For those who will continue reading- Here I am almost 3 weeks later, and still so so in love with them. My nail tech gets her lashes done with Kaleen- so I followed her instagram. Fast forward, I wanted extensions and went elsewhere. I left horrified with how they looked- they were too thick, too long, too dark, and just not what I wanted. At. All. When it came time for needing a fill, I was checking out a couple other recommended lash techs, and remembered Kaleen. I looked through the pictures of her work, and saw that she did a couple very natural looking sets, and decided to message her. For reference, I am very fair skinned, with dirty strawberry blonde hair. I rarely do makeup, but I daily mascara and a little eyeshadow in my eyebrows. I expressed to her that I wanted something very natural, but something that would still make me feel "put together". Sent her a photo of what I had already applied, and then some inspo pics. Her response immediately instilled confidence in me that she 1. cared about the impact of the previous lashes, and 2. that she understood the assignment. Not to mention- she didn't even have anything negative to say about the work done by the previous lady- just that she understood my dissatisfaction, and how they didn't match what I was looking for. I get to her suite, and it is so cute. Very comfortable, she had some background noise and music on, a table warmer and blankets on standby. We did the consultation, she showed me the color options that she had WAITING FOR ME ON THE TABLE BEFORE I ARRIVED. And she got to work removing the ones I had on. And if it's not enough, I had to get up and pee. I felt bad because it meant she would have to take off all the tape and whatever else, but expressed no irritation. Came back, got me set up again, and she applied her set. I'm pretty sure I was snoring the whole time. She went over aftercare, and we set up my next appointment. She sent me home with a goodie bag- lash brushes, cleaning solution, and a friendship bracelet?!??! I would go to war for this woman and I just met her. I recently decided I am too lazy to apply mascara to my bottom lashes, and asked her if it would be possible to tint them. Appointment already adjusted. There was no irritation to my eyes or skin. At no point was anything itchy or poking me. She is so gentle. She really does have her clients comfort in mind. To be honest- I don't necessarily have the budget for extensions- but good god do you get what you pay for when you walk out of this woman's suite and it's now a non negotiable for me. I left on the verge of tears from how happy I was with my new lashes. It is literally 12:30 at night, and I took a photo to show y'all. Are you kidding me? Please go see this woman first if you are considering getting lash extensions. You will never go anywhere else.

It would've been nice for someone to say "hey it's gonna be a few more minutes." I thought about walking out, which I should have. I told her what I wanted which she did a pretty good job of accomplishing. I wanted something natural, whispy, And slightly longer than my lashes. I was happy when walking out but my eyes had a bad reaction to the lashes. They were red and watery. Just after 3 days I already have bold spots. Most of the lashes have fallen. I haven't worn eye make up or put on any serums. Now, I have to spend another 80 for a touch up. I'd say go somewhere else that has more reviews and is more established. Update: i should add that the esthetician offered to fix my lashes. Again, they ended up falling out within 3 days. Also, be aware that these are not individual lashes. I wish i had known that.
