Elena is the best! I've wanted to get my lips blushed for a while now and when I came across her Instagram page @permanentlux_sandiego and saw her work I booked an appointment immediately and was able to get in within a couple of days. I am OBSESSED! I got them done about a month ago and just got my touch up a couple of days ago and even after the initial appointment I got so many compliments on my lips. Some of my friends even asked me if I got filler because it made them look so much more full! The space was super cute and cozy. The whole process went really smooth. Elena even took the extra time during my first appointment to do a few more passes over my lips because they were not properly absorbing the color because I was using plumping lip gloss every day. Oops. (So if you're looking to get this procedure done and you love plumper like me, try to stop using it for a few weeks before.) They still came out amazing - but between then and my touch up which was a month later, I didn't use the plumping gloss and it took even better. Oh! I also decided to laminate my brows while I was there and I LOVE how that came out as well. Like 5 different people have told me in the last few days that I am "glowing." So if you're looking for a sign to book with Elena - this is it! DO IT!!! read more

Elena is truly exceptional. Her talent, artistry, and meticulous attention to detail, combined with her warm and caring demeanor, are unparalleled. Not only is she highly skilled, but she also brings a level of warmth and dedication that I am confident exceeds anyone else in this industry. She creates a welcoming environment and possesses an exuberant, naturally endearing personality that immediately puts you at ease. Elena is the consummate professional, taking the time to patiently collaborate with you to ensure all your expectations are met. I initially sought her expertise not for cosmetic reasons but to cover up unsightly injuries I had sustained as a child. I needed her to reconstruct a new bottom lip from scar tissue through lip blushing. I can't pinpoint exactly why I chose her, but I truly believe it was meant to be. After several inquiries, Elena answered the phone, and after discussing my situation, I was in her chair within two days. Many others were hesitant to treat my lips due to the severity of the scarring, but Elena was confident and ready to help. As you can see in the photo, the results are nothing short of remarkable. If you are seeking cosmetic modification or revision, look no further. read more

I had an excellent experience having my lip blushing done with Elena and would highly recommend PermanentLuX. Booking an appointment through the website was quick and convenient. Her studio is located in Salon Republic with an adjacent parking structure (she gives you a voucher for free parking on your way out). Loved the studio's decor and soothing music played during the service. She helped me decide on a customized lip color based on my favorite lipstick I brought with me. After outlining the lips with lip pencil, she made sure I was happy with the shape before proceeding. Throughout the process, Elena was highly attentive to detail and ensured I was comfortable. Having finished my one-month touch-up, I love the end results and have no regrets. I'm planning to go back for needle-free lip filler once I'm healed and possibly permanent eyeliner. Thank you again Elena! read more

I have been getting my eyebrows tattooed for over 7 years and have always gone to the same person and unfortunately, they moved so I was in search of someone new. My cousin who had just gotten her eyebrows done here is very happy with the results, so I contacted Lili who requested photos of my eyebrows. She reviewed my current eyebrow tattoos which are fading and advised me to get Saline Removal for a fresh start. I am very picky about my eyebrows, and I truly love that she was honest about her advice to clean up my past tattooing work before getting work done since I want the best outcome. I scheduled online at the website which was very used friendly. The procedure is very similar to having the brows tattooed. First your brows are numbed with a cream, then the tech goes over them with a saline solution using a tattoo pen. Yes, they can be lightened/removed, but you will have to be very patient because this takes multiple procedures. I liked the fact Lili was upfront with me about this. I was a little worried about the thought of leaving the salon and looking a little weird because my eyebrows would be swollen and red from blood. I was very surprised that in fact there was no excess swelling and if you don't look too closely, it looks ok at this stage because the scab color is surprisingly flattering. Lili was very knowledgeable about aftercare and the whole process as it was happening during our session. I cannot wait to see my results from this first session and now I know what to expect when I return for the next one. Lili is EXCELLENT, very caring, and gentle, you can tell she is very passionate about her work. I have already recommended her to a friend who experienced tattoo botching on their eyebrows and another who need a fresh start after years of also being tattooed. Thank you, Lili-
