I had been getting my brows done for the last 6+ years or so. First experience was terrible and found a different brow artist that I was loyal to for the last 5. I moved to SD over a year ago and was long overdue. I was stalking Melissa's Instagram and yelp for months and loved the consistency in her work. I made my appointment and she did not disappoint! First off, she's an absolute sweetheart and takes her time getting the shape right. I came in as a correction since one of my brows was turning a bit red and the shape wasn't as symmetrical as I liked. She corrected both and I LOVE my new set. If you're a wimp with pain like I am, don't worry, she numbs you to the point where you'll be so comfortable to the point of falling asleep! Yes, true story. I've had pervious work done and I hated it. It faded to a redish color and I would have to draw in my eyebrows all the time. Which defeats the purpose of permanent makeup! Just wanted to start this review off with saying Melissa is the BEST! She is professional, kind, polite, knowledgeable, detailed, and extremely talented! I had my eyebrows done by a previous artist that I was not extremely happy with but dealt with it because I was not sure where to go. I got my first set of ombré powder brows in August 2019. I had sparse eyebrows so I requested to have them natural, but defined. Melissa asked a lot of questions to make sure I got I wanted. She took her time to draw them in and made adjustments so I could picture what they'd look like after the procedure. The whole process took a little over two hours and I was really happy with how they turned out. I went back last week for a touch up to go darker. Again, Melissa did a great job and I cannot recommend her enough!! I wasted my money. I got my LIP TATTOO done. I thought I save some money but it's not worth it. I wish I got it done with other company even I paid more but the quality is worth it. I got my LIP TATTOO done February then LIP BRUSH in May. I thought I will give it a chance and wait till the color comes out but until now my lips is pale. It looks so good after the Tattoo then it will start to feel out after 4 days. I was very careful and took care of my lips really well but after seven days my lips is so pale. Supposed to be after 6-10 days you'll get the lip brush for correction only but after 7 weeks that I got my lip brush I got a whole lips get tattooed again due to my lips does not have color at all. So I gave it a chance maybe after the Lip Brush will improve and the color of my lips will improve but it's now June and still my Lips looks pale and I feel like I did not get Tattoo at all!!. And she wanted me to come back in 6 months to Lip Brush when it supposed to last 1-2 years!!! And the parking is very bad. I included all the pictures. She's nice but I will never go back. To be honest, I don't want to write this review. Melissa is so talented, thorough, and wonderful to talk to that I want to keep her to myself! I didn't know how nice it would be to actually have eyebrows and I most certainly didn't know how sparse my eyebrows were before I met Melissa. She spent nearly an hour just making sure mine were even before committing! It was so appreciated. My eyebrows looked so good that I even got asked about them when I was getting vaccinated. I was really nervous about the entire process but she made it so simple and easy! I have never loved my brows more.
