I have had both my brows and now eyeliner done by Ann. I really put off doing the eyeliner because, well, I was afraid it would hurt. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. But Ann promised she would numb me enough, and she really did. Having the eyeliner done isn't super comfortable...she numbs the pain, but you still feel vibrations on your eyelid. I'd been interested in getting my eyebrows done for years, but never liked the idea or look of a solid color eyebrow tattoo. It wasn't until a couple months ago that I stumbled across some "microblading" youtube videos. That natural hairstroke look is exactly what I had been trying (and failing) to create with products for years. I asked Ann if she does the hairstroke look and she does. A couple week later I had a consult and she spent an hour or so measuring and testing shapes, measuring some more, adjusting, looking in the mirror, letting me make changes until I felt comfortable we could find a shape I'd be happy having permanently on my face. Then we booked my actual appointment. This morning I had the first hairstroke appointment and while it's only been an afternoon since I left her office, I'm so, so pleased! Even with all the youtube videos I watched and before/after photos I looked at, I don't think could ever imagine just how amazing they'd look once done...and this only after a few hours! The strokes look just like hairs. The shape is great. They don't hurt at all and I don't have to wear a hat and glasses to disguise them while they heal like I was expecting. I go back in 6 weeks once they've healed a bit and the color has settled for Ann to make any tweaks that may be needed. I'm super pleased! read more

I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted done, so she started out very conservatively and let me get used to the look and decide how I wanted it. I appreciate Ann's careful listening and attention to what I was hoping to attain! I tried professional tinting eyebrows twice before this, but it takes up too much time and energy to maintain. When I did my eyebrows myself it was a 50/50 chance they looked good and in a rush to get to the office it was often not done. I look so much better with defined eyebrows!! I ask her to be conservative and do it maybe lighter and thinner than my ultimate goal & she did. I figure I can always fill in or go darker later! She has just the right calm and listening skills to make me feel like I am not taking a risk. The first session and week, I felt like my eyebrows looked weird, especially the left one... but after the second 'Perfection' visit and another week of it healing, the left eyebrow is now my favorite!
