I went to get lip fillers and did not get the outcome I wanted. After the swelling went down, I could not tell that any fillers actually took place. I had an allergic reaction which made it painful to eat anything for weeks! I had called to get prescribed something for the pain and they suggested I take Tylenol. The NP urged me to go back to get the filler again as she insisted that my reaction could have been from eating something else. However, I no longer trusted her. It seemed like she did not care about my pain or results at all. She appeared selfish in only focusing on making another sale. read more

Amy is the best! I go to Umansky's to get the PicoSure laser tattoo removal and Amy is the nurse specialist that does the work. Let me tell you, getting a tattoo removed hurts! But at Umansky they do all that can be done to help the pain. They use a special cream an hour before the procedure to numb the skin which does help some. The nurse Amy is very nice and has a steady hand. She helps distract you from the pain and will play music of your choice if you like. I have had 5 sessions done and my tattoo is more than half faded. It may take another 3 or 4 to get it completely off but my tattoo had been gone over multiple times in some spots and the ink was set really deep. (My friend was the tattoo artist). Its coming along, it is a very large tattoo that covered almost my entire chest. Getting a tattoo removed isn't cheap or fun but Umansky has reasonable prices, the most advanced laser (PicoSure) and the best laser specialist, Amy. I highly recommend that if you're getting a tattoo removed to check out Umansky Laser Center. read more

I moved to San Diego about 2 years ago from Chicago. It was overwhelming to try and find someone new to take care of my skin---but I succeeded and couldn't be happier! When I first met Audrey at U Laser MedSpa---she was kind, informative and had soft hands. Is that weird to say? It's true though. I've been seeing Audrey for dermalinfusion, microneedling and basically all of my therapy needs. I loved her so much I recruited her as my friend (true story) Pretty sure that doesn't come with the cost of my facial services, but it was definitely a huge bonus. Audrey is educated, honest and helpful. She makes you feel relaxed when you're with her, and she truly cares about the health of your skin. She has never pushed any products on me, and is always honest with her recommendations. Obviously Audrey is skilled in her profession, but she also knows how to create a relaxing experience. I did my research, made a few phones calls and settled on this center based on two recommendations from friends. Best decision ever to come here for IPL and Botox! FYI stick a few one dollar bills in your wallet to pay for the underground parking at the self-serve kiosk.
