Colleen did a fastastic job coloring my hair (well, highlights) several weeks back. I haven't ever been put under a heat lamp before but it seemed to really speed up the process. I also got the brightness I wanted without the brassy undertones. However, my hair has never been more dried out. My boyfriend has been rubbing coconut oil in it for me and that will help for a couple days before he does it again. Which I really enjoy him doing, but do not enjoy the tangles that come with dry hair. Perhaps next visit I'll plan an earlier appointment and just wait it out while color sets and avoid the heat. But overall very happy! The salon is very cute too and I like the products she used!

Being a mom, it's hard to take out a huge chunk of my day out just for me but I should be able to right lol I was going for a mushbrown hair color with baby lights. My hair is natural black and haven't colored it in a year or so. I had a A line that had grown out in 4 months and in dire need of a cut. I pretty much evened it out. She styled it in beautiful light waves. Jan colored and cut my hair in 5.5 hours, so faster than I thought. She explained how to care for and maintain my hair and to give it time to lighten up but could also go back to her if I wanted to lighten the ends, so we'll see. I LOVE my hair!
