This is when I found Alchemy Hair Collective, specifically FIONA! I made my appointment with her with ease. She texted prior to my appointment and gave me the opportunity to explain my story and provide photos of where I was and where I wanted to go. She responded immediately, "That is something we can fix." The second I stepped foot into Alchemy I LOVED it. The vibe is warm, fun, and inviting. I liked Fiona the second we met. She was awesome! Is there a better word than awesome? SUPER awesome! She talked to me about what I wanted, she studied my hair, she asked me questions, we looked at photos. Her confidence was reassuring. I felt like I was trusting her with my life. We had great conversation and laughs as she worked away putting all of those foils in my hair. After processing, I had a fantastic shampoo and scalp massage. Hope I didn't snore because it sure was relaxing. Upon returning to her chair and the towel coming off, I knew Fiona had hit a grand slam! When my hair was all dried, I am here to tell you that I had a lump in my throat and had to fight back tears of joy and happiness. My layers were so short and my hair got thinned out. I didn't even ask for that style of haircut. It was so frayed. The layers were so choppy. If I pulled hair from both sides of my head neither of the lengths would be even. So bad!!! Naomi was the first to respond and the first choice I wanted so I booked with her! She was able to get me in the next day after the terrible haircut experience. Upon walking in she greeted me with so much warmth and I just immediately trusted her with my hair. She was able to cut my hair short to even out the work the previous salon did but told me to come back in 3 months to allow my hair to grow to get a recut. I made another appointment with her 2 months in because I was tired of waking up and hating my hair. She immediately responds. During my 2nd appointment with her we both agreed to go shoulder length short. I absolutely love my hair now. The polish selection was minimal. During the pedicure, no dead skin or cuticles were removed around my nails, and there was no foot or leg massage.
