When Jessica looked at my hair, she noticed a lot of random short layers throughout that didn't really make sense (which I didn't even realize at first because it wasn't super obvious). She took the time to fix my side bangs and blend everything properly, and my hair looks so much better now. She also did my partner's hair and really listened to the inspiration we showed her. Jessica doesn't rush her work at all she takes her time and really polishes everything toward the end so it looks just right. The lounge itself is clean, cozy, and has a really welcoming vibe. We were lucky to get an early appointment, but I can see why she gets booked quickly, so I definitely recommend scheduling ahead. Highly recommend Jessica. I reached out to Jessica via text and she responded the next day, she asked what I was thinking of doing, asked for pictures of what my hair currently looked like, etc. I was able to send her pictures of what I wanted, she was able to give me an estimate of how much the service would be and was able to get me booked the same week. The salon was easy to find, parking was fairly easy, my appointment was on a Monday morning at 9. I thought it was going to be there for the majority of the day but to my surprise, everything was finished by 12pm. The place has such a modern aesthetic, super clean, and it even smells like a spa. Very calming vibe. I booked with Lew, the owner, and she is honestly such a bubbly, sweet person. Super easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable right away. She cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, which is always such a relief when you're trying a new stylist. Also, she has a little snack bar, which I thought was really cute and a nice touch. Overall, great experience. I'd definitely go back.

I debated posting because I don't like to be confrontational in anyway, I was going to brush it off but it's very disappointing to think about. Starting off they have an App called Vagaro they use to book appointments, I was Denied twice. Their reasoning was because they were booked.. ok so why let me book? Just get rid of the app and have people call. I got the number of a hairstylist through a friend. I got in pretty quickly, after that. My apt was set for 5pm, was asked to come in at 4 instead, sure no problem. I got there at 3:50 and the stylist was not there yet. She arrived about 10 min late, walks in and doesn't apologize. Says "are you so & so's friend" I say yes. Has me wait to be seated because the chair was dirty (with hair) she still has to go get her tools. Needless to say it took about 15-20 min just to get started with my hair. She asked how she was going to cut it I said right under my shoulder, & point the where I want it. She asked if I wanted layers I said no, just straight so it grows out evenly. The hair cut itself took quite a while. What was strange to me was that I wasn't facing the mirror, had I seen what she was doing I could have pointed out her mistakes. (now I now to ask to be facing a mirror whenever I go get a haircut.) Also my daughter was there but she was on my phone most of the time, so there was really no reason for me to not face the mirror. But anyway, after she finished cutting it she started to curl my hair which made it significantly shorter. Almost the length that I asked for but in reality it was no where near. I only got to see my hair after she curled it and it looked nice, I was pretty happy leaving. It wasn't until I showered and noticed everything that was wrong with it. One side (as pictured) is completely longer than the other. When I threw all my hair back (also pictured) it showed just how badly cut it was. It was also longer than I asked but that actually came in handy after I found another hair salon that was able to take me in the next day to fix it. I did attempt to text the Hairstylist letting her know I was not happy with my hair cut. She was responsive for about 15 min then she stopped texting me back. I text her later that night after not hearing back from her all day letting her know that I had found someone else for the next morning and I thanked her for her time. I honestly wish I could get my money back, I've never had this bad of an experience at any hair salon. I paid $55 and left a $10 tip, and to fix my hair elsewhere I paid $45 and left a $10 tip.. that's $120 total, which is insane if you ask me.

I have always had a dedicated stylist (I'm incredibly picky about who does my hair), but unfortunately she was back in Seattle. I was getting antsy and irritated with my heavy and boring hair. I was feeling bold and daring and I knew that if I didn't act on this feeling right away, that I would chicken out and not go as short and as light as I was wanting to go at this very moment. Lucky for me, Judy had an opening (she was the only one available) and the appointment was set, so there was no backing out now! Judy was incredibly sweet, but honestly, I was a little worried about how everything would come out since I didn't do much research on this salon or stylist ahead of time. But Judy definitely delivered! She gave me exactly the cut that I wanted. The balayage I feel, came out a tad blonder than I had wanted, but it's starting to grow on me (I think it is more so me getting used to how light it is, cause I've never had my hair this light). But the balayage job itself was done great. I would highly recommend this salon. Everyone is very friendly and the customer service is definitely on point. They also offer you champagne or wine while you're getting your hair done! The building is very spacious and well decorated, and I love that it used to be a bank, so they have these amazingly cool vault doors inside. Definitely come and see Judy, but if she's all booked, I have no doubt that the other stylists are wonderful as well. I got to watch the stylist next to me turn her customer's hair into the mermaid colors, the end result was gorgeous! Prices are very reasonable as well (I'm sure they vary depending on stylist). For my cut and balayage, it set me back $160, which is not bad at all. Judy worked hard and did not rush. She started on me around 145pm and I didn't leave till 545pm. I have very thick hair, and A TON of it, so she definitely worked hard to cut, color, and style all of it.
