I'd been before and have extremely curly hair, I booked an appointment with Jordan and she cut it in a way I'd only dreamed of having it cut. However, when I went back for the second time, it was the worst customer service I've ever received anywhere. I booked the service online (haircut only) and came all the way from Sacramento. I arrived on time and Jordan was finishing up with a client. She never greeting or acknowledged me (which I thought was weird), but w/e. Then the last client was taking 15 minutes over, and never once did Jordan make a remark acknowledging it, apologizing or still greeting me. The only reason I knew she even knew for sure I was her client was because I was sitting at a waiting bench directly near her section, and she clearly called on me next after finally finishing the first girl. I finally get in the chair and think it's weird, but again, I loved the cut the first time and was excited. We move on. The entire time Jordan had the most negative energy I've ever experienced with anyone. She was in a bad mood. Apparently there had been an outage on the entire block that had the power go out the week before or something? And all she did was complain about the cost of everything it was going to take to repair and replace her washer and dryers for the studio. Yes, it's a super unfortunate circumstance, but when I tell you none of this was a business-level appropriate complaint about a bad time kinda thing, trust me. I mean it was a "if this is my problem, it's now EVERYONE's problem" kinda energy. Like, girl what? lol She just kept going off... everything was everyone else's fault about this. Tbh- I'm not much of a talker at appointments, so I get hair stylists needing to chat with the room about things, but this energy was diff. Long story short, the appointment I booked was at a rate that was set very clearly online. When we finished, she charged me $50 more than the pricing online. My hair is not extra long, its curly but not matted, not difficult, none of that. Nor was there any explanation given to her from the jump in price. Tbh- I paid it. I knew I was never coming back after that. The entire time she complained about how much everything was costing her and I knew in my gut she was taking it out on clients to pay for it extra even though the agreement online was completely different. On top of her being late and not greeting me, I knew this was something I'd want to tell others about. ---- Main Point, TDLR: The reason I gave it was a 2-star is only because the haircut was good. If you want a good haircut, sure, maybe. But if you want to support good people in your community. Don't go here. There's too many other talented stylists out there to support economically. And if you do.... make sure you are 100% clear up front with Jordan about how much you'll be paying beforehand. Best of luck.

I debated posting because I don't like to be confrontational in anyway, I was going to brush it off but it's very disappointing to think about. Starting off they have an App called Vagaro they use to book appointments, I was Denied twice. Their reasoning was because they were booked.. ok so why let me book? Just get rid of the app and have people call. I got the number of a hairstylist through a friend. I got in pretty quickly, after that. My apt was set for 5pm, was asked to come in at 4 instead, sure no problem. I got there at 3:50 and the stylist was not there yet. She arrived about 10 min late, walks in and doesn't apologize. Says "are you so & so's friend" I say yes. Has me wait to be seated because the chair was dirty (with hair) she still has to go get her tools. Needless to say it took about 15-20 min just to get started with my hair. She asked how she was going to cut it I said right under my shoulder, & point the where I want it. She asked if I wanted layers I said no, just straight so it grows out evenly. The hair cut itself took quite a while. What was strange to me was that I wasn't facing the mirror, had I seen what she was doing I could have pointed out her mistakes. (now I now to ask to be facing a mirror whenever I go get a haircut.) Also my daughter was there but she was on my phone most of the time, so there was really no reason for me to not face the mirror. But anyway, after she finished cutting it she started to curl my hair which made it significantly shorter. Almost the length that I asked for but in reality it was no where near. I only got to see my hair after she curled it and it looked nice, I was pretty happy leaving. It wasn't until I showered and noticed everything that was wrong with it. One side (as pictured) is completely longer than the other. When I threw all my hair back (also pictured) it showed just how badly cut it was. It was also longer than I asked but that actually came in handy after I found another hair salon that was able to take me in the next day to fix it. I did attempt to text the Hairstylist letting her know I was not happy with my hair cut. She was responsive for about 15 min then she stopped texting me back. I text her later that night after not hearing back from her all day letting her know that I had found someone else for the next morning and I thanked her for her time. I honestly wish I could get my money back, I've never had this bad of an experience at any hair salon. I paid $55 and left a $10 tip, and to fix my hair elsewhere I paid $45 and left a $10 tip.. that's $120 total, which is insane if you ask me.
