I came here to treat myself to a nice pedicure for my birthday and chose this salon based on the great reviews. Unfortunately, my experience didn't match the ratings. The polish selection was minimal. During the pedicure, no dead skin or cuticles were removed around my nails, and there was no foot or leg massage. I also had polish left on my skin, and I was immediately asked to get out of the chair without giving my nails time to dry. The pedicure was more expensive than other shops I've had where I actually received all of those services The Corner Salon was lacking. Very disappointing experience, especially for a birthday treat. I won't be going back. read more

Wey unhappy with my nails. The lady put a ton of oil and I didn't even know you could buff while your nails are wet. Is that even a thing? My nail chipped after day 2 and here are my nails 7 days later. Can you believe that it is gel? $65 for gel and mani only for it to look like I painted then myself. I couldn't go back in to fix them but if you can't do it right the first time what's the point. Definitely don't recommend this place for the nails read more

Sandra and her mom are the true dynamic duo! I've seen Sandra for over 5 years and I won't trust anyone else to do my eyebrows. She's always quick to respond and is very accommodating with your needs and appointment times. As for her mom, I always love getting my nails done by her! She's so sweet and attentive and my nails always come out just right! The only reason for taking off one star is that it is just one manicurist (the Mom) so if you and a friend want to get your nails done at the same time, this place isn't really an option. Other than that little bit, I love it here! Quick tip: always call ahead. Don't hope for a walk-in appointment as it is always busy! read more

I should have read all the reviews before coming in. All the good reviews are based on eyebrow waxing and not nail services. My review is based on my pedicure service. The lady did an ok job. Don't think she took the time to thoroughly remove cuticles she just skimmed around, adding oils and used the purple buffer. Don't believe they used sanitized equipment because I noticed after she used the cuticle remover on my feet she wiped them off with a towel and put them back in her cart. The paint job was ok too. I had to ask her to paint all the way to the cuticle. Nothing worse than seeing nail polish half way up. The location. Tucked away in the plaza right next door to Raley's. They only have 2 chairs for pedicures. Very small location. Staff. Nice, friendly and professional. I was also told they don't accept cards only cash and checks. I rarely carry either. They ended up taking my debit card. I don't think I'll be returning, disappointed in my pedicure. I come in for pedicures mainly because i don't have the time to soak, remove cuticles, file, buff and paint. This place seems to only soak, buff and paint. Attention to detail is lacking. read more

I love Lee as a manicurist. Her designs on nails are my way of carrying my art with me. I absolutely love the care and concern she gives to each and every customer and she is better than a podiatrist and I am a nurse saying this, when it comes to issues with an ingrown big toe toenail! Anyway, I have gone to her for at least 17 years and a couple of salons she has opened in. I also go to Susan, like one stop shopping for my hair color, wash, cut, dry and curl. Both of these people are spectacular in their chosen professions and I absolutely would recommend both for whatever you want done. I do miss the waxes by Sandra who has been out on maternity leave, but I cope! C'mon back Sandra when you please! read more

Love going there, one on one service, Very diligent lady, so dedicated, strongly recommend, must make an appointment.

My cousin from Toronto was here and her 'stache on her upper lip was bothering me, and thicker than mine, so I took her to this corner spot to get that beast waxed. She said they did a great job and her esthetician was very friendly and made her feel comfortable so she decided to get the stubble on her pits removed too. The owner Sandra even made small talk with me and offered me some drinks while I waited for my hairy cousin. This spot just opened up recently and I wish them much success. read more

Great service. Super nice and sweet to my Mom. We go for pedicures when my mom comes to town.

This review is strictly for Sandra-- she is the reason I continue to wax my brows and lip instead of thread. Sandra is awesome. She has a warm personality, and she does a good job of keeping her clients comfortable while she works. If you're looking for a new spot for wax, come check out the Corner Salon. read more

Nails: I was torn between a 2-3 rating but I had to lower my rating to a 1. Following reasons: 1)The website says they take credit cards as does the sign in the window. They DO NOT. 2) I asked for acrylic, she gave me gel. 3). I asked if she could do a design and she said yes, when we got to that point she said she didn't do designs. Now for the reason I dropped it to a 1 rating its only been 3 days and 1 nail fell off and 2 are lifting. read more

Sandra is very detailed, has a steady hand, is informative with regards to dermatology tips/tricks and flexible with rebooking which happens often with me. I was sent to Sandra for waxing by my neighbor eight (8) years ago. I have been a loyal customer ever since and followed her through each pit stop prior to opening her own Corner Salon. Sandra is the only one allowed near my face . . . worth the 'cash/check only' policy. read more

I been coming to Sandra since she was at Devyns Salon! She's always done an amazing job on my eyebrows! She super friendly and is the BEST when it comes to brow waxing! This salon also is a one stop shop the also do nails and hair! I've only gotten my brows but they always have people in and out for all services! Everyone should give Sandra a try at least once I promise you won't go back to your old place! read more

Le is amazing and super sweet. Her prices are good and the work is amazing. I have never been so happy with my nails. I will definitely be back ! They only take cash or check but it's worth making a stop on the way. read more

The pedicure I got here was nice. The lady who did it was pleasant and friendly. The pedicure was neat and comfortable. The downsides is they only have 2 chairs and one nail person, so it's not good for a girlfriend date. Also, the pedi started late (not good if you're on a time limit) and the massage left much to be desired. Pricing was moderate. read more

Sandra and her mom make a great team! One stop shop for all Beauty needs--waxing, nails, and hair. Please make an appointment!

I go to Sandra for waxing services. Sandra is personable, professional and proficient in her waxing procedures. She keeps talking to you to keep you calm and at ease. She's the only one I trust by far. read more

LOVE LOVE THE CORNER SALON! Its my one stop shop for everything beauty. LI's does my nails which are always superb and they last forever. If my nails didnt grow as fast as they did I could probably go for three to four weeks and not have a chipped or broken nail! Susan does my hair, which I am VERY VERY picky with who does my hair. I have thick thick long hair which in the past could sometimes take 7-8 hours for highlights as my hair doesnt take dye that well. Susan does it it 4 hours or less and her cuts are fabulous! love love my bangs! And SANDRA, well words do not discribe how fantastic she is! I dont know what that other reviewer was talking about with her brazilian, but SANDRA is the best! Painless! Love their little shop! read more

The quality of the salon is nice for the area and the waxing deftly and professionally done. However, they can be difficult to book (had to try three times before finding a time they could do both waxing and nails) and the price they quoted me wasn't what I wound up paying. read more

I've been seeing Sandra for almost 2 years now getting my regular brazilian wax this woman is Aweeeeesome!!!! she is the best...very friendly and professional as well as clean. She will make your appointment great because she knows what shes doing and knows what to say during your appointment. She will also send you a text when she will be out of town. She uses a soft wax and puts pressure once the strip is pulled so it doesn't hurt love her i wish i can take here with me when i go out of town! read more

I've been with Sandra since she first opened Devyn's in glen cove. I think that was back in 2005? Years later and I still wont let anyone else touch my eyebrows but Sandra. I moved away for awhile and still never bothered to find a new eye brow lady, Sandra is irreplaceable. I've recommended people to her and those people have recommended people to her b/c she is THAT good. Her mom does a wonderful job on nails as well. Great work every time and worth it. read more

I'm glad I found this hidden salon. I never knew it was there until a friend recommended it to me. Very friendly and customer focused. It's a full service salon, hair, waxing and nThey even have free coffee and tea for their customers. They don't accept credit cards, but it's definitely worth going to the ATM machine first. read more

Wonderful customer service and does an excellent job waxing. I'm hoping I can find someone as good as Sandra when I move!

Sandra is the best. Two thumbs up. I love her. She knows what she's doing. I highly recommend her

This review is for Sandra! This young lady rocks with my eyebrows! She has been doing my eyebrows for a long time now. I have followed her from one salon to another and finally to this one! That is how good she is! I made the horrible mistake of going to someone else because I was too lazy to go to her and I was getting my nails done at the same place! NEVER AGAIN! Sandra always gets my eyebrows perfect. Every time I go to her, I always get compliments on how my eyebrows look. Yes...compliments on eyebrows! lol! I will never stray from her again! If this is your first time, the shop may be hard to spot. The Corner Salon is on the side of the shopping plaza near Raley's. It's literally the Corner Salon! As much as I want to keep her to myself, I realized today, when she fixed the horrible mess that I call my eyebrows, that her talent is too great to keep to myself! read more

Pedicure & gel fill by Le. She's wonderful and did a great job. Small place, worth finding. Previously visited Benicia Spa & Tan in same shopping center which was less personal. I recommend this place! $60 for amazing pedicure and gel fill. Oh and their pedicure chairs work really well---the best.ever!! Happy me!!! read more

I have been going to Sandra and Susan for years, and will follow them anywhere! I even came back when I needed services when I was living in Reno, they are that good! Their new salon is beautiful! The fixtures look really nice and their styling is very classy; the place looks like it belongs in the city. read more

I have only come to this place once for eyebrow waxing, and I will definitely be going back again. Sandra, was so nice, and she made my eyebrows look perfect. I usually go for threading, but I sometimes get waxing done to have a cleaner look with less pain involved. I was extremely pleased with my service because Sandra was very friendly and she shaped my eyebrows the way I wanted them to be done, not taking too much hair off. I would recommend all of my friends to come Sandra for their waxing needs. read more

I love this place. I definitely Iove love Sandra. She's the best in the business. She is awesome.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to leave a review but Sandra is awesome! She's been waxing my eyebrows for almost a year now and she is now the only person I trust to do them! She's such a cool, down to earth person too!! Love Sandra! read more

Sandra is wonderful! So fast and sweet. Makes the necessary and unpleasant task of waxing at least funny and quick!

Love getting waxed by Sandra. She is very nice and professional. I moved to Benicia 6 months ago and I'm so glad I found her. I go regularly for brow, lip and Brazilian waxing. I'm always happy with the outcome. Thank you Sandra! read more

I love Sandra!!! I started coming to her about 3 years ago and will continue to go back. She is amazing at what she does. I can not say enough good things about Sandra. I am 9 months pregnant and have been continuously coming to see Sandra for Brazilian waxing throughout my pregnancy and she has bent over backwards to make me feel comfortable even as far as purchasing a blow up piece that I found online so I would be able to lie on my belly without hurting baby. Sandra is super. read more

Sandra is awesome. Friendly, professional. She did a great job on my daughter Madison's eyebrows.

Love Sandra! She always gets my brows exactly how I like them, and she puts up with my "last minute I need an appointment ASAP" antics (that behavior is highly discouraged, make an appointment she stays booked!) But it's a really nice quaint place with excellent service. read more

I still consider myself to be new to The Corner Salon, but Sandra her mother and Susan have made me feel apart of the Salon for years. They are wonderful!! Sandra does my Brazilian wax and I'm extremely happy. I never had it done before and she consulted with me and explained the process which was great. She makes me feel comfortable everytime. She does great work. Susan cuts my hair and does great work. I'm in the process of letting my hair grow back and it's fun to see the progress with Susan every two weeks. I recommend the Corner Salon!!!! read more

The only thing I have done is my eyebrows, I haven't tried anything else, YET. I love going here! Sandra does a fabulous job on my eyebrows! I don't trust anyone and when I first started coming here (last year) I was nervous. I don't like anyone to touch my eyebrows. But she was super friendly and I haven't stopped coming here. She is by far the best person to get the job done! Highly Recommend Sandra! read more
