Wey unhappy with my nails. The lady put a ton of oil and I didn't even know you could buff while your nails are wet. Is that even a thing? My nail chipped after day 2 and here are my nails 7 days later. Can you believe that it is gel? $65 for gel and mani only for it to look like I painted then myself. I couldn't go back in to fix them but if you can't do it right the first time what's the point. Definitely don't recommend this place for the nails read more

Sandra and her mom are the true dynamic duo! I've seen Sandra for over 5 years and I won't trust anyone else to do my eyebrows. She's always quick to respond and is very accommodating with your needs and appointment times. As for her mom, I always love getting my nails done by her! She's so sweet and attentive and my nails always come out just right! The only reason for taking off one star is that it is just one manicurist (the Mom) so if you and a friend want to get your nails done at the same time, this place isn't really an option. I should have read all the reviews before coming in. All the good reviews are based on eyebrow waxing and not nail services. My review is based on my pedicure service. The lady did an ok job. Don't think she took the time to thoroughly remove cuticles she just skimmed around, adding oils and used the purple buffer. Don't believe they used sanitized equipment because I noticed after she used the cuticle remover on my feet she wiped them off with a towel and put them back in her cart. The paint job was ok too. I had to ask her to paint all the way to the cuticle. Nothing worse than seeing nail polish half way up. The location. Tucked away in the plaza right next door to Raley's. They only have 2 chairs for pedicures. Very small location. Staff. Nice, friendly and professional. I was also told they don't accept cards only cash and checks. I rarely carry either. They ended up taking my debit card. I don't think I'll be returning, disappointed in my pedicure. I come in for pedicures mainly because i don't have the time to soak, remove cuticles, file, buff and paint. This place seems to only soak, buff and paint. Attention to detail is lacking. read more

I love Lee as a manicurist. Her designs on nails are my way of carrying my art with me. I absolutely love the care and concern she gives to each and every customer and she is better than a podiatrist and I am a nurse saying this, when it comes to issues with an ingrown big toe toenail! Anyway, I have gone to her for at least 17 years and a couple of salons she has opened in. I also go to Susan, like one stop shopping for my hair color, wash, cut, dry and curl. Both of these people are spectacular in their chosen professions and I absolutely would recommend both for whatever you want done. I do miss the waxes by Sandra who has been out on maternity leave, but I cope! C'mon back Sandra when you please! read more

Nails: I was torn between a 2-3 rating but I had to lower my rating to a 1. Following reasons: 1)The website says they take credit cards as does the sign in the window. They DO NOT. 2) I asked for acrylic, she gave me gel. 3). I asked if she could do a design and she said yes, when we got to that point she said she didn't do designs. She said they did a great job and her esthetician was very friendly and made her feel comfortable so she decided to get the stubble on her pits removed too. The downsides is they only have 2 chairs and one nail person, so it's not good for a girlfriend date. LOVE LOVE THE CORNER SALON! Its my one stop shop for everything beauty. LI's does my nails which are always superb and they last forever. If my nails didnt grow as fast as they did I could probably go for three to four weeks and not have a chipped or broken nail! Susan does my hair, which I am VERY VERY picky with who does my hair. I have thick thick long hair which in the past could sometimes take 7-8 hours for highlights as my hair doesnt take dye that well. Susan does it it 4 hours or less and her cuts are fabulous! love love my bangs! And SANDRA, well words do not discribe how fantastic she is! I dont know what that other reviewer was talking about with her brazilian, but SANDRA is the best! Painless! Love their little shop! read more
