Everything was amazing, and I think their tomato beef macaroni is my favorite here. Their Hong Kong milk tea is also perfect with just the right amount of sweetness. It is not too bitter or too sweet, just perfect (I like sweet things but not too sweet). The restaurant is a bit tight, but they do offer takeout. Even when it gets busy, customers are usually friendly and quick, especially if they see a long line and they are finishing up soon.

They might not be the hippiest or trendiest sibling in the bunch, but they are consistent. Pacific Coffee is just that. Consistent quality, they are on all over the place and they are not Starbucks (no offense Starbucks, your coffee can be too intense for me!). The bean at Pacific Coffee is a milder bean and kind of like a great Pinot...very drinkable every day. This particular Pacific Coffee is in a great location on Queens Road in my hood, has a lot of space to park yourself and read and they remember who I am and what I drink. The coffee milk tea was fine but we didn't realize until visiting another cha chaang teng that hot usually means unsweetened. And the scrambled eggs were so plain...I just remember cha chaang teng scrambled eggs being super silky and creamy. This was just disappointing and I didn't need to order normal, regular-tasting scrambled eggs. They're saving grace is how cheap everything was. For that price, it just felt like we got what we paid for...lower quality food. The steamed and chilled Milk Pudding had a mild and perfect sweetness and this really nice skin on top with a satisfying texture. Get this! Then the HK-style French Toast reminded me of the kind Denny's used to have for kids in the 80s but 20 times better! They were addictively eggy, buttery, and slightly sweet. Then the Macaroni and Ham had super mild flavors that could be comforting, but I wouldn't get it again. The Milk Pudding and French Toast were the shining stars. I can't wait to try their Egg Pudding next time I visit.
