XL pie
Angelica O.

Pizza tasted good, but lacked cheese, I would hope it was due to a XL pie. The slices were huge. Barely fit on plate.

Lg pizza, decently sized

Very friendly staff and service here. Ordered for pickup with easy parking in the rear lot. Makes a big difference when you think about delivery vs pickup these days. For a large pie half mushroom half pepperoni, it basically came out to $20 flat which isn't bad for this area and size of pizza. I really like the crust of the pizza overall, very crisp and and not a lot of flop as Portnoy would say. I was kind of bummed to get canned mushrooms though because I've seen other reviews where they used real mushrooms. For me that's what brings this down a star because overall the pizza is pretty good. Just could use a little more sauce for my liking so if you like less saucey pizza, give this place a try. $20 for a half half large is a great deal, so I'll prob give this place a try again another day.

Pizza with grilled chicken added. Yum!!

Wow so good! I heard from a friend that this was place good, and it was! I tried a regular slice with grilled chicken added. It was HUGE, loaded with flavor, thin crust, and only $4!! I'm a fan!! I will definitely be back and place a delivery order for when I have friends over. Also the staff was very nice and the place was clean.

Very friendly service. Owner personally served us. Enjoyed the hot appetizer of shrimp, calamari, mozzarella ! My entree of shrimp parmigiana was excellent, dining in back of restaurant and pizza shop in front . Parking lot in rear of building. Interior is typical pizzeria ambiance.

Rigatoni with shrimp and broccoli rabe

Excellent food and service! Can't go wrong with this place. We had mozzarella Tomato and basil as an app, delish. Daughter had fried ravioli with vodka sauce, best ever. Hubby had veal parm,.. to die for. Sangria was the best I've had in a long time. I had the rigatoni shrimp with broccoli, too much to finish. Go visit, you won't be disappointed.

We came by for lunch after a long day of prepping for an upcoming vacation. After searching online for an open restaurant because of Labor Day holiday-many we're closed-- we came across Prestos Pizza. The staff was so attentive and greeted us right away and answered our questions thoroughly about their ingredients used in pizza. They made us feel welcome and we're very courteous. So a little about the food--we ordered a large pie with half cheese and the other half with fresh mushrooms (special request). Everything about this pizza was mouthwatering! The crust was golden crisp the sauce was amazingly fresh and had a perfect balance of flavor between the tomato and basil. The cheese was perfectly melted and the fresh mushrooms were perfection! As we left I saw the garlic knots that were displayed they looked like they too were full bodied flavor of garlic and herbs! The ambiance was as follows- Two separate dining areas one was more of a pizza quick serve and the other was nicer dining room with cloth napkins etc--we sat in the latter because it was cooler (temperature) than the previous rooms.

Love the pizza here. We got the Mexican pizza and it is by far the best pizza in the area. Super tasty and fresh toppings.

Load of crabmeat. The shrimps are huge. Pizza is very good. Good tomato base, sweet. Thin dough. Great portion for personal pizza. Grilled octopus is pan fried a bit, so crispy outside. Surprisingly good. The clams are big. No smells. Great wine sauce. Wonderful service. They are friendly and attentive. Lots tables inside. Also lots takeout orders when we were there. I saw a big brick furnace oven in the back where they cooked all the pizzas. We started with the Zuppa di Clams with white wine sauce. It had about eight big clams in a bowl filled with delicious sauce. The sauce tasted so good with the complimentary soft bread. The grilled octopus came with a long arm, nicely cooked and mixed with greens. The cheese pie was thin pizza, that also had a good taste. For entrée, I got the cheesecake. The steak was good, but the bread was so hard outside. I couldn't eat it, just ate the steak from the middle. Fries were extra fried too. But the squid ink linguine was an excellent dish. The service was friendly. Our dishes were served in short intervals. The staff members cleaned empty plates frequently. They also packed our leftovers. The restaurant seemed a popular spot among the locals. Overall a wonderful local pizza spot.

So, the comfort that I didn't quite find at my hotel? I found it here -- at an Italian restaurant…read more I wasn't so much in the mood for Italian food as I was for patio/al fresco dining and something delicious to drink. The food was an afterthought (initially). At Aumm Aumm, it (the food) became the main story. My rideshare dropped me off and I thought, 'This will do.' A large patio in the late spring sun was just what I needed. I walked in and said I was a party of one and I wanted to eat outside. Done. Soon, a very chatty and kind waiter was taking good care of me and offering a glass bottle of still water.* As I am wont to do, I ate in waves: appetizer and main course (and, if I have the room/interest, dessert). A drink and a solid. A began my meal with the burrata. Rarely can you go wrong with a ball of cheese but this was a silky, milky sphere of mozzarella, served with oranges, toasted walnuts & topped with truffle honey. Truffle honey. I tried to pair every bite with cheese, citrus, nut, and honey and each time I was successful, my mouth sang. To accompany my chews, my waiter suggested Rancoli Vermentino, a dry white with a crisp finish and enough adjacency to the fruit components of the burrata to make it make sense. Lovely. I forgot that I was in Jersey. For my main, I had a GF version of the pennoni alla genovese napoletana - slow-cooked caramelized onions & diced beef pasta. Simple but incredibly flavorful (which, I've learned, is what Italian food is all about). The plate was large and I could smell it before I saw it (a very good thing). To help bring the dish to life, my waiter suggested a warm red blend (earthy, cherry/berry forward). He was correct on the type of wine but I was a bit disappointed in the price point. Believe me, I know the ins and outs of the restaurant biz, but this glass should have been (at least) a couple of dollars cheaper (knowing what I could get a bottle for). This slight faux pas lessened my rating to a 4. Not the end of the world. Just know what you're paying for before committing. I was pleasantly full so I passed on dessert/coffee. Th NJ sales tax was less than I was used to but the dreaded credit card charge fee made an appearance. I probably spent more money on dinner than I would at present but I don't regret the experience. I slept very well that night. *There was a charge. Know before you go.

Nice looking place, funky decor our waitress was very nice & attentive. Price wise a bit on the high side but doable since everything we had was great they have a good menu to choose from, We enjoyed our food & time here.

This is $48 and includes a choice of a specialty cocktail or glass of wine, fries for the table, and lastly a choice of two salads with protein and/or spicy rigatoni. Overall, a great deal. We ended our meal with espresso martinis and a chocolate cake with matcha. This was not included with the girl dinner menu. A great dinner with a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside , however the service and the food were underwhelming. The food lacked flavor and our server lacked manners . I've been to some of the best restaurants and I'm thinking Sofía will be in the high ranking as well . Not a chance .... Our server was acting as if we owed him something , his personality and warmth lacked . The server should not be on the floor engaging with customers . Oh and the manager , I'm assuming with the grey suit and black eyeglasses , never even acknowledged or asked how our dinner was . I mean the galls on these people . The kicker of the evening, you cannot enjoy a cigar in their lounge unless you are a member. I'm sorry but this tidbit of information is not noted on their website . I made it my business to inform the hostess of this . At that point I decided, this is my first and last time dining at Sofía. Social media makes this restaurant look so elegant. Nah it sucks
