BeYou Nail Bar has been my go-to nail salon for years, and experiences like today remind me exactly…read morewhy I keep coming back. They have consistently been reliable, professional, and incredibly thorough every single time I visit. For context, I don't get gel, acrylics, dip, or elaborate nail art. I simply get natural nail manicures and pedicures with clean cuticle work, short nails, and a semi-shiny buff. It sounds simple, but proper natural nail care takes skill and attention to detail, and BeYou consistently delivers. After a very disappointing manicure and pedicure at another salon left my nails over-trimmed, my cuticles improperly cared for, and even resulted in an injury to my toe, I came straight to BeYou. Their technician immediately recognized what had gone wrong and carefully explained why the manicure technique I had received was not appropriate. They did everything they could to correct the cuticle work, reshape my nails, and make me comfortable again. While they couldn't undo nails that had already been cut too short or heal an injured toe, they absolutely salvaged the experience. What I appreciate most is the consistency. Every visit is thorough, meticulous, and never feels rushed. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in doing quality work rather than just getting you in and out the door. Pro tip: If you're planning to walk in, call ahead first. They're popular for a reason and can get busy, but every time I've called on my way over, they've either been able to fit me in or let me know the best time to come by shortly afterward so I haven't had to sit around waiting. I've always appreciated how accommodating and honest they are about availability. If you're someone who values healthy natural nail care, proper cuticle work, and technicians you can trust to be consistent every single visit, I can't recommend BeYou Nail Bar enough. They'll continue to be my first choice.

Rose Couture Nail Bar - Broke nail already

I have now had two different experiences at Rose Couture Wellness, and both have been AMAZING. I…read morealready know this is going to be one of those places I keep coming back to. First, KIM!!! She did a custom tiny tattoo for me and it is EXACTLY what I wanted. What really impressed me was that she didn't just wait until I showed up for my appointment to figure everything out. A couple of days after I booked, she texted me to check in, asked me for my ideas, asked questions about what I wanted, and really made sure I felt comfortable with her doing my tattoo. When I got there, she already had different sizes ready for me to look at and choose from. Kim spent about 10 minutes helping me figure out placement and was sweet with my OCD self. That little bit of preparation made such a difference! During the tattoo, Kim was so sweet and walked me through everything. She kept checking on me the entire time to make sure I was okay . I was completely fine, but I appreciated her checking anyway! The tattoo came out PERFECT and exactly how I pictured it in my head. Then there's TEENA! My first appointment with her was a whole mess on MY end. I accidentally went into the wrong location because Rose Couture also has the nail salon that is right next door, and then the power went out, so I ended up having to go home. Teena was so understanding about everything and had no problem helping me reschedule. I finally got to see her Tuesday, August 25th, and it was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. As soon as I walked in, Teena took me right back, talked with me, asked a ton of questions about what I was looking for, and we decided the Myers Cocktail was the best choice for me. I'm SO glad we did. The entire experience was probably one of the most relaxing things I have ever done. I literally booked my next appointment for September before I left. And I have to mention this because it matters to me: BOTH times I have gone to Rose Couture Wellness, I signed in and was taken back almost immediately. I usually come after work, so not having to sit around waiting forever is a HUGE plus for me and honestly one of the reasons I'll keep coming back. Everyone I've interacted with has been genuinely nice, the atmosphere is relaxing, and I never feel rushed or uncomfortable. Between Kim, Teena, and the rest of the staff, they have definitely made a regular out of me. At this point, as long as Rose Couture Wellness is open, y'all are probably going to see me.

Disappointing Quality, Sloppy Workmanship, and Hidden Fees…read more I have been a regular customer here since 2019, but the sharp decline in quality over the last year has made it impossible to keep coming back. My most recent visit was the final straw. I booked a 10:00 AM appointment--right when they opened--yet my technician didn't show up until 10:10 AM. Things only went downhill from there. I gave the tech my chosen dip powder color and asked for a matching shade for my toes. She assured me she had one, but as you can see in the attached photos, the colors are completely different--my hands are a muted coral-pink and my toes are bright red. I even asked two other staff members to help find the correct match afterward, but neither could.  The actual application and shaping were just as bad. The initial shape was crooked and uneven across different nails, forcing me to step in and redirect her throughout the process. When she was finished, my cuticles still looked unkempt, and there was excess product stuck under my nails, along my nail beds, and smudged on my skin. I literally had to sit in my car after the appointment picking residual product off my fingers before I could drive away.  To top it all off, I came in with coffin-shaped nails and simply requested to keep the same coffin shape. Despite not changing my shape, I was hit with an extra charge for "shaping and filing," with the explanation that anything other than basic square now incurs an additional fee.  Between the lack of punctuality, poor attention to detail, inaccurate color pairing, messy application, and nickel-and-diming for basic maintenance, this salon has completely lost its standards. After years of loyalty, I will not be returning.

I really enjoyed getting my pedi done here. This place is all about customer care not just customer…read moreservice. I am updating my review: My best friend and I visited this salon while in downtown Dallas, and…read moreoverall, it was a decent experience--but there were a few things that left us disappointed. The staff was very welcoming, and we appreciated that they told us the pricing upfront--no surprises there. The drinks were a nice touch, and the salon had a friendly and clean atmosphere. My nail tech was very kind and clearly a perfectionist. She did get a little frustrated when I moved my hand, but I could tell it came from wanting everything to be just right, which I appreciated. At one point, I told her I felt a burning sensation on one of my nails, and she immediately applied a calming spray, which helped. Unfortunately, my best friend didn't receive the same level of care. During her appointment, she mentioned that her nails felt hot while the acrylic was being applied. Her tech said that happens sometimes, which we understand, as it's not unusual. But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations.
