Here are the lowlights of my experience with Matt: --Communication was a nightmare. He responded to me while he was doing the job (a plus!) but he was more interested in complimenting his own work, man-splaining, and cracking corny jokes than he was in listening my concerns. Whenever there was a problem, he blamed someone else. ---Cost was very high. This is my fault , as I should have gotten more estimates. --The work was below average. For example, Matt installed a bifold door. He asked if I wanted it painted and when I asked if it would need to be painted, he said it was up to me. I opted to leave it unpainted but had no idea that Matt would leave pencil marks and scuffs all over it. By that time, I was so tired of interacting with him that I decided to paint it myself. Less than three months later, the door came off the track and the pin that holds it in place will not go back in. After seeing my friends/neighbors asphalt driveway done professionally by Gerry and his crew, I…read morecalled for an estimate.( I've spent years and countless hours diligently filling cracks and sealing the asphalt and it still kept cracking and generally looked awful). Gerry was prompt in coming over to give me a reasonable estimate which included resetting some Belgian blocks which were elevated due to a tree that had previously been bordering our driveway. I didn't even notice how bad they looked because of how bad the driveway looked! Gerry told me to expect the work to begin in about 10 days and he was true to his word. His crew ripped up the driveway and then came back a few days later to fix the Belgian blocks. A few days later, they were here with the asphalt and completed the project. It looks fantastic! This is the third time I've had the driveway done in the 36 years we've owned our home. The first two times we waited about a month between the time the driveway was demolished and the new asphalt was installed. ProMaster was so much quicker and I've never had a driveway look so good. The asphalt seems to be stronger, like a commercial grade that you'd see when a shopping center is repaired. Strongly recommend this company!

The implication was that it may take an extra hour. We have a standard colonial home; not a mansion. Two women came to our home and did a thorough cleaning job. We were happy with the work that was done. However, I question the amount of time it took to do the cleaning. After six hours, they had not finished the upstairs floor. Needless to say, what was estimated at about 8 hours to complete the deep cleaning was, at that point, not going to happen. The company sent a third cleaner who came to help for approximately two hours, and they told us that we had to pay for her as well. The first two ladies were here for about 10.5 hours when we asked them to leave because the cost was going way beyond what we expected. Our home has a main floor, an upstairs and a finished basement. The main floor and the upstairs were almost completed. The bathroom in the basement was cleaned, but the rest of the finished basement wasn't touched. The job was only 2/3 completed, and we were charged approximately $1500. We estimated that if we let them stay and finish, our bill would have been $2000. Who has ever paid that much for a deep clean? (Note - our house was not messy or excessively dirty when they came. We are moving, and wanted a deep clean before we put our home for sale) When we called the office, the manager simply said she understood our complaint, but there was nothing she could do about it. There was not even the courtesy of a follow up call from the owners to address our complaint. The owner of the company came to our home to give us an estimate based on a tour of our house, so she knew exactly what the cleaning entailed. The estimate was done in person - not over the phone, which should have eliminated any misunderstanding of what the job involved. I became a little suspicious when she asked for a credit card for a $200 down payment and disclaimed the quoted price and explained the job could take longer. I had a contracting business years ago and a quoted price was a quoted price without major price adjustments. If you decide to use this company for cleaning services, do not offer a credit card and demand that you pay in cash. Once they have your card information, they can arbitrarily charge you more, giving you, the customer, no recourse to challenge the price. We are reasonable people, but this is a complete rip off. This was so poorly managed, resulting in a 50% increase in the quoted price for a job 2/3 completed. Just a warning to all if you ever decide to use this company.

I may not get approved for the claim but it's my right to try, since I am a victim of a crime. The owner boasts on her social media about having a 7 figure company and hitting record breaking months on sales.
