He was in awe of their work. Everything was done to perfection. We had over 6 bids for bathrooms ( total redo) and their prices were amazing for the work they did! They listened to our concerns, came up with a plan. We could not be happier! Besides bathrooms, we were going to have them do our flooring- carpet to LV. Third floor condo - we ordered all, they bought everything up three flights of steps ( 950 square feet) - after carpet was up they noted flooring was off, and LV was not an option unless floor floated. We opted for carpet. They hauled all of the LV back down three flights. Zero complaints. Happy to do whatever was in our best interest! When we thanked them for their great work throughout, their response was always " we thank you. We are grateful for the work!" They also redid our fence and garbage-bin enclosure. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and communication throughout the project were exceptional. The finished result exceeded our expectations -- this outdoor living space has truly been a blessing for our family. Rain or shine, there's not a day we don't use it. We've hosted countless family game nights and gatherings here, and I'm genuinely grateful for this space every single day. I don't usually write reviews, but I'm taking the time because of what happened recently -- more than four years after the project was completed. We noticed a small leak where the deck cover connects to the house, water was dripping from the soffit boards. Naturally, we were stressed about potential water damage and repairs, but when I reached out to Tim, he responded within minutes and sent his team the very next morning! They inspected the area, found a likely source, sealed it and performed the necessary repairs, then advised us to observe it again when the rain returns and call them if further repairs is needed. Tim's responsiveness throughout the project was amazing, which is rare to find these days. I am a perfectionist and expect the same of Contractors. I found only a few VERY MINOR issues along the way, but Tim and his excellent crew were right on it! Many months after the project had been finished, we requested a minor repair to our siding that was NOT even part of their work. They came up yesterday and fixed it for us! They went above and beyond! Also, we had a request for a unique fold-out shelf for feeding birds (which we make sure is never available to bears!). Tim designed something that works perfectly. We hired Aaron to do a full kitchen extension, renovation and remodel. It was a a long time dream…read moreto take our tiny, disfuctional kitchen and do what we could to make it as nice as possible in the space we had. The end result far exceeded what we thought was possible- between an extension, taking a wall down and figuring out a perfect layout we ended up with not just "the best we could get" but an objectively beautiful, spacious and functional kitchen. If you're looking for near full creative and design control that's exactly what you get! Aaron recommended vendors and gave professional suggestions but was supportive of what we wanted in every way. One of the most invaluable things about hiring Aaron were his professional connections - we had had bad luck hiring contractors for small jobs in the past. All of Aaron's contractors were fantastic, we've even asked for their numbers for electric and plumbing work in the time since. It's been so fun in the time since to have neighbors over who have our same layout to come see what's possible for their tiny kitchen. We give them Aaron's info every time. Cannot recommend Corneliu highly enough! A seemingly minor window leak ended up being a much…read morebigger problem that required some major rehab work including repair of a deck that was very unsafe. While that was an unwelcome surprise, I felt extremely fortunate that Corneliu was the one who discovered and ultimately fixed the problem. This issue was neglected by another contractor who had done siding work previously for me. Corneliu fixed everything the RIGHT WAY at a very fair price and worked as late as 7:30pm, long after the sun had gone down, to ensure everything was done before the next storm rolled in. I'll be hiring Corneliu for a bathroom remodel later this year and anything else that may come up!

We wanted a door installed in the interior of our home. Cornel arrived, measured the space, explained the different styles, asking what we'd like. Then he went to the hardware store himself, took photos of all of the options that fit our criteria, and texted us the options so we could choose, saving me time from having to go to the store myself. He also went above and beyond by offering to fix the opposite side of the door frame, which was ugly before the project started. We didn't even think it was an option to fix that. Cornel installed the door, painted it, and fixed the trim on both sides, on the same day. The final result is absolutely perfect. It's beautiful, and the quality is stellar. We will certainly be using Smart Construction again in the future for home projects that we can't do ourselves.
