Their bid was competitive and I had a good deal of faith in their ability to provide a great experience given what I'd read in other reviews. Vlad and his team ended up having to work through a multitude of challenges in order to deliver the end result that we enjoyed. I received constant professional communication (day, night, weekend) when things weren't going well (outside of their control) and what they were doing to resolve. They thoroughly owned resolving each obstacle instead of pushing it back to me to work out. This involved buying different kinds of paint and performing tests -- I even got a video of the test results to illustrate my options. Its obvious that this company cares a great deal about providing 5 star experiences. Its that additional amount of work that they did which has me so enthusiastic about referring them to anyone needing painting done (commercial or residential.)

Unfortunately, the drywall repair wasn't to our liking. We hired Miguel to complete the drywall repair and to paint the ceiling afterwards so it matches. Overall, the painting was 10/10. The repair that Miguel completed was a lot better than before. Prior to finishing up the initial painting, Miguel had agreed to come back if we saw an issue with the drywall after the paint was dry. After pointing out an issue with the drywall to him via text, he agreed that some additional work was needed and was willing to come back to get it done the following Monday. After trying to confirm with him if he was still coming on Monday, he pretty much ghosted me and did not respond to my message. I tried following up 2x but no response. Overall, the painting was 10/10. Would I feel comfortable hiring him again? Probably not. If you don't ask any questions and trust his 35 years "professional" experience, you can hire him. He broke my gutter down sprout on the day of power wash. He didn't tell me and collected my $2000 deposit. After three days, I find there is a water fall around my deck and basement wall is soaked in the accumulated water. So I tried to fix it by myself but I can't reach it because it is too high. I called him to fix it. He insisted it isn't a issue based on his 35 years experience and he will come to check on the day of painting. I think it is a urgent issue especially Seattle rain heavily recently. He doesn't want to be responsible for any further damage and doesn't want to fix the issue soon. We wasted too much time on the call and I noticed him with a formal text and explained all possible damage he will own. Then he asked someone to fix it by putting it together by hand without tightening the screw. It isn't an appropriate fix. His ability maybe only can support this simple fix. The surprise thing is he terminate the contract on his own and charged me a power wash with $650. It doesn't make sense because there is no contractor will continue to work on his unprofessional mess. The most important thing is there isn't fee for power wash only on contract. I asked him to full refund, he told me you can go ahead to file complaint with his bond company. He has lawyer to handle this.

Their attention to detail was impressive for the bid price, which was surprisingly reasonable. They worked all day almost without a break, and got it done in one long day. Evidently their calling card is the ability to prep and paint an entire house in a day, which led them to miss a few things that Mr. Lee had to bang out quickly as they were packing up their van. I even had to pick up a few misses the next day, but I was a painter in my younger days, so it was no big deal given the low price. If I weren't handy with a brush, I would've been more annoyed. All in all, I can recommend them.
