The installation team was so kind and cleaned up after themselves each day. We love our new countertops and kitchen island. My only feedback was that the invoicing was super scary because of all the disclaimers they put in there to protect themselves against dissatisfaction. It made me a bit weary at first but they really came through in their execution. I would buy from them again and would recommend in a heartbeat.

I worked with Tomas a handful of years ago when he did our granite counters and island for a…read morekitchen. The quality of his workmanship wasn't so much the issue- but his attention to detail during the templating process. We chose two granite slabs for a large project which involved a 9 foot island and smaller project for another home. One of the slabs had a river of quartz running through the middle and was templated to be the center focal point of the island. When installation day came, we were surprised to find that the island had no quartz running through the center. We couldn't figure out what went wrong. When the second granite countertop was delivered to our daughter's home for install- there it was. The quartz was placed in front of the kitchen sink. This mistake really showed a lack of caring for customer wishes and a template appointment that was a waste of time. Pretty disappointing. Seams weren't that inconspicuous- I've since had other stone projects with smaller seams.

Before moving forward, I asked several reasonable clarification questions about what was included in the quote, such as removal/disposal, templating, fabrication, delivery, plumbing or appliance reconnection, timeline, etc which was unclear in the quote. Instead of answering those questions, Tom responded in a dismissive and unprofessional way, asking whether I had read the estimate or looked at their website, and saying I could call him if I was "serious about doing business" with them. As a customer, I believe it is completely normal to ask detailed questions before hiring a contractor, especially for a home project involving cost, materials, and installation details. The lack of clear answers and the tone of the response made me lose confidence in moving forward with this company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company if you expect clear communication and respectful customer service.

It's always a difficult decision to select someone, as not only do you worry about the price, but there's quality of the product and the reputation of the installer. When I contacted the Granite Mill I was nervous about it like anyone would be but I'm happy to say that they put my mind at ease with their professionalism, the quality of the stone (I chose quartz) and absolutely the quality of their installers. And their prices beat everyone hands down! They were even so flexible to my request to install the 32" trough sink from amazon, cut and undermounted it. As you can see from the photo, the final outcome looks fabulous! They do have a number of references on request if you would like to talk to others. I highly recommend them.
