When I called them, their rude representative claimed their GPS said he was at my house for one hour and 27 minutes. Then she hung up on me. I then check my Ring doorbell camera and got the video evidence. I wrote the company and then got a call from a "manager" who claimed their rep didn't argue with me and they were fixing it. Watch out for these crooks. If they're willing to scam me on my first small bill, imagine what they'd do to you if you did a big project with them. CROOKS. Update: Subsequent to the original post, Jeffrey F from Arctic Mechanical wrote a reply to my post, inaccurately characterizing the events, but more importantly, listing my name and home address in his reply. What??? They had confirmed that they DO perform such repairs. And even if the phone person had been mistaken, they KNEW they had made an appointment with me 8-11am. After 25 years of service my Weil Mclain boiler and indirect water heater were on the verge of…read morefailing. I decided to replace both before complete failure. I knew the old boiler piping was not done correctly (copper was used instead of black pipe). I did not want a mega steam unit by Burnham (this replaced the defective Burnham V8 boilers) because they are prematurely falling also. Schildwachter sells Weil Mclain and Peerless boilers. After doing a lot of research and contacting 8 companies it became obvious the senior account executive Enrique at Schildwachter knew what needed to be done at competitive prices. The head mechanic Chris did the installation according to code and left the boiler room clean. Chris and Enrique's attention to details was impressive. I decide to buy oil and service from Schildwachter.
