I was scrambling to find a mover a week before my move after the one I booked weeks in advance pulled the bait and switch (couldn't move me on the 1st because it was a Sunday, extra fees, adding an extra mover I didn't need, etc.). I had a small 1 bedroom with fairly small/light furniture so I only needed two guys. I reached out to a few companies on Yelp, and Prestige Pro comes back with the best rate. White glove, no extra fees, two guys, no problem with the Sunday booking. We locked it down. The day before the dispatcher called to confirm and suggested sliding the time back a few hours due to another booking and offered me a discount for the inconvenience. I used to work for a moving company, so I understood wanting to rearrange the jobs for the best routing for the drivers. Fully respect it. Save them on their trips and gas mileage. Not a problem. Gave me a few more hours to organize my stuff and make it easier for the movers anyway. MOVING DAY! They came in the earlier end of their window, assessed the load, and immediately got to work. No dawdling or wasting time. Very courteous and professional. They carefully wrapped everything and moved quickly, but mindfully with my items. They were ninjas! Every time I turn around, four things were gone! They had the place cleared out in exactly one hour. Traffic was good and though they got a little turned around, they made it to the new place quickly. They backed the truck in and got to work yet again! They rolled out my rugs, and put my sofa in the PERFECT spot without asking. It was like they were decorating! These guys had my stuff unloaded, in the house and unwrapped in THIRTY. MINUTES. Could not believe it! Not a nick or dent in my stuff. No walls or floors scratched. Perfect move! They honored the discount, which I gave back to them in tip. They earned every last cent! I also gave them popsicles at the end because it was really hot and everyone needs a sweet treat, especially when they worked as hard as they did. Thank you, Nick and Simeon! You two were lifesavers! My boyfriend and I recently relocated from LA to the Bay. We looked at a few different moving companies to help us and came across Prestige. They don't have too many reviews on Yelp, but from what I found they are glowing. We decided to give Prestige a try and they were awesome. They were careful with our furniture, especially my expensive cream colored couch, matching chair and ottoman (I'm always afraid those are going to end up with black marks across them). The crew was super nice, efficient and I especially loved that they wore white gloves while handling everything. This was a step up from the services I've used in the past. Moving could not have been more easy than using these guys. It was strange seeing two fairly young men come in and help me move large pieces of furniture (couch, bed, dresser and book cases). I was expecting big muscle men and got professional, smart, observant guys. They worked strategically observed walls, shelves, cabinets and pictures when passing furniture through the house. I used a GROUPON that allotted me 2 hours of moving time to move from point to point and they completed the task on time. We were able to get a weekend appointment within a few days of callings and the men helping us out completed the job in a day (we have a lot of stuff between the two of us). I really hate moving. And I really hate moving companies. Nickel & dime'ing on everything, surprise charges at the end, damaged belongings and so on. Did my (soul-killing) research on a bunch of companies, and spoke to quite a number before I found Prestige. They're a new kid on the block, so-to-speak, but I liked what they had to say and how they treated me as a customer, so I took the chance. Count me surprised - when they say "white glove service", they're not kidding! They were quick, meticulous, and cared for all of my stuff as if it were theirs. At the end, after helping me unpack and all that, we did a quick inventory check and no damage! No damage? No damage! What? My thoughts exactly. I made an appointment with a very friendly gentleman who assured me that I would have movers on Monday March 16th at 1:30pm. I even called and confirmed the week before. The crew never showed up. I never got a phone call either. I have been calling them every hour for the last 24 hours and no one picks up the phone or returns messages. Do not use this company and don't believe these 5 star reviews. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I am hoping Groupon refunds my money. I will never get the 2 hours back waiting for this company to show up, nor the 2 hours spent trying to find another moving company this morning. read more

I was searching for a few weeks for a good moving service and came across Prestige. The movers called me to let me know they are heading to my place and would arrive in 15 mins. They were able to get the job done within two and half hours and they were super friendly! Although the time exceeded the 2 hours that I initially scheduled for, it was completely my fault since I underestimated the amount of furniture and boxes I had. Regardless, I was able to use the yelp deal which helped with the cost and it was only an additional 30 minutes. I even gave the movers a good tip since I was happy with the service! Best of all, I can use my credit card to pay for the service. Unfortunately, I was charged a different amount than what my receipt had but I emailed Dan and he took care of it right away. There was just some confusion about the amount of hours it took to complete the move. I will be moving again in a few weeks (long story) and the movers were really nice to give me advice on how many hours/men it will take for the next move. I am definitely using Prestige again. Very thorough in gathering information on what I needed, and very good customer service over phone answering all questions and explaining their service. Was able to set an appointment next morning before holiday. Had movers at my apartment next morning. Moved my stuff with care. Very nice and courteous. White glove service. Hand carried my items. Even broken down my bed with tools they had handy. They were very good on time. Moved everything right without hesitation. No extra time was taken up that wasn't needed. Storage warehouse is very nice. Will add items to your inventory or take them away for you without a problem. Prestige goes extra mile. Extremely pleased with service and communication. Highly recommended. More than fair quotes for service and well worth it. Didn't feel like other movers. They genuinely care about your business and go that extra mile.
