Fast response, great communicator. Understood the job and got it done in the same day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Abe and Maureen are great! They handled a complicated demo of an old pergola that was partially hanging over my pool and had a few electrical wires around it. They somehow cut down an extremely heavy beam and were super careful about not getting debris into the water or damaging the wires. All for a fair price. Highly recommend. read more

Abe and Maureen are an amazing power couple! They are fun, kind, friendly, professional, and--most importantly--trustworthy. They made the whole process easy and stress-free. Great people to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Fantastic team - They went out of their way at a fair price, quick and efficient. Will use them again.

Avi and Maureen are great! I had decades worth of forgotten junk in my dusty, detached double-size garage. They allowed me to check inside boxes, and ensured that I kept a gas shut-off tool that was mixed amongst the junk. They cleared the garage out within a matter of hours, and even swept up afterwards. Very friendly and trustworthy too! I will definitely use Honest Abe again, as I'm discovering more that I want to rid myself of inside my house. read more

Abe and Maureen were great! They came on short notice on time and just were so friendly and efficient. They got everything done so quickly. They were professional and Abe even tried to sweep up the fallen leaves in the backyard! Pricing was transparent and fair. Def will be using them again! read more

Super friendly and helpful local service. Needed a few pieces of junk removed, including a gross garbage bin that had been accidentally sitting on the side of our house that was filled with moldy fruit and rainwater. They were able to dispose of it on the same-day and much more safely and carefully than I would've if I had to take it to the landfill myself. Were very friendly when they arrived too. I expect to use them again. Thanks, guys! read more

Thank you for cleaning out my Grandmother's apartment after she passed away in such a respectful and considerate manner. You were very upfront and reasonable with the price as well. You are also super efficient and professional. read more

Abe responded quickly and arranged pickup swiftly. Pricing is commensurate with other services, but we chose Honest Abe as communication was so much better than others. Thanks for the help Abe. I recommend this business heartily. read more

I highly recommend this business. They provide excellent, dependable service. Owner is a great guy and I'm looking forward to working with him again, without question. Thanks for your help! read more

Friendly and reasonably priced, did a great job helping remove an old mattress and other unwieldy items.

I had a 6'x8' metal shed in the backyard that I needed to get removed. I called up Honest Abe, he asked some questions about the job, gave me an estimate over the phone and said he could do it today between 12 and 12:30. 30 MINUTE WINDOW, amazing. He and his partner show up at 12:15, head to the back and knock it out. I had some other bulky item and they took that away too. I thought the floor was concrete and told them to leave it but it turns it out was just plywood with some metal on it (I didn't really use this shed, it came with the house). They removed all that as well. Their fee was right aligned with their estimate. 5 stars for showing up when they said they would, charging what they said they would, doing the job they said they would. Just fantastic all around. read more

So amazing! They saved my bacon last minute when another company cancelled on me! The owner is super friendly and the service was affordable. read more

After a previous bad experience with a well-known junk hauling company, we were reluctant to hire another one to clean out the apartment of a relative. We saw multiple great reviews about Honest Abe Junk Removal and from the moment of Avi's quick response, I trusted that this company would be different. But when he and his wife Maureen showed up, my first thought was: where's the rest of their team for this very difficult, two-bedroom unit clean-out? But they were it! They proceeded to get to work over a two-day period and could not have been more positive, helpful, hard-working and most of all, respectful, amid a very challenging situation. They are just really great people, who jumped in to help us when we truly needed it and for this, we are very grateful. read more

Abe and his wife were great. Fast, efficient, lovely people and cheaper than other companies I've used in the past.

Abe was fast to respond on a Friday night. They showed up the next morning, as promised, to remove a freezer that no longer worked. I did get other responses & quotes through my Yelp bid but Abe was easy to deal with and did not complicate the matter. He was even kind enough to remove the water line for the freezer :) definitely would reccomend and use again. read more

This guy is awesome! I own a hair salon in Sherman Oaks. I needed old salon equipment and crate removal from new equipment removed ASAP. I called late last Friday afternoon for help! Honest Abe was there 7:30 Saturday morning!! All removed before my clients arrived. He was up front with reasonable pricing and arrival time! He was VERY PUNCTUAL!!! RIGHT ON TIME!!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HONEST ABE! I will be referring to my all of my clients. read more

Highly recommend Abe! We needed old furniture and junk picked up ASAP and 1800Junk completely flaked on us. I found Abe on Yelp and am so grateful! They came by in 45 minutes and had everything cleared out quickly! Efficient and professional service, and very fair pricing! read more

I found Abe's ad on Craigslist last night around 9:30 pm. Called him and he answered right away and gave me a quote to haul a very heavy couch and a queen mattress. I needed that stuff picked up ASAP since we already had it out for some people that night, but they ended up flaking. (Bastards) Anyway, he agreed to pick up the very next morning (today) at 10am. He and the lady with him were on time and friendly and hauled it all with no issues in less than 10 mins! I mean, the lady basically lifted that 100 lb couch by herself like it was nothing! This couch was huge, and foundation was made of solid wood not like the cheap particle boards found in most furniture now. I was just amazed at how quickly they got them all out!! They were both professional and great. That's why I'm here already posting this review. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to all. Great business! read more

Can't say enough good things about the Honest Abe team. They removed a large, heavy TV from my home and hauled it away. They came same day, were reasonably priced, and were super nice. And if you believe in supporting local businesses, they live locally in the San Fernando Valley! read more

I called Abe to haul house furniture and garden and household items at the last minute. He kindly accommodated me and came over in an hour. He and Maureen did a great job lugging beds, couch, heavy boxes, etc. I can't thank him enough for being there to fit me in when I needed the help ( and when Covid made it nearly impossible to find a charity to pick up usable furniture and household goods and clothing. ) Compliments to great customer service!! read more

They were able to fit me in between a few other jobs the same day I called. They were really nice, efficient and affordable. I highly recommend giving them a call! read more

Great people! Communicated very well throughout the entire process. Responded to my calls and texts amazingly quickly. Arrived right on time! Got rid of all my junk within 30 min and hauled it away safely. I would recommend their service to everyone ! Greatly appreciate all their help. My landlords car blocked the drive way causing some issues. But they were able to work their way around it without causing any damage to my landlords property. I will definitely call them again. read more

He is VERY honest. Fair quote from get go and did not raise it or double it like other places did. He was fast and efficient. 10/10

Needed help removing a shed that the previous home owners built, bolted to brick along our back wall, and mounted to our brick floor as well. It was a truly ragged and rickety old thing and was never used, it sat for years collecting leaves, dirt, junk, and hosted a slew of paint and other industrial chemicals the old owners graciously left for us. I didn't know who to call for years, and several other junk/haul/removal folks refused to take paint/chemicals which was a deal breaker. Honest Abe was a no brainier, after the initial quote and discussion, I knew we found the right man for the job. He came throught the next day, dismantled and removed the shed in less than two hours, and he also helped fix our rot-iron gate in the back yard, that wouldn't easily shut without a wonky lever system I devised. He had all the tools and know how for any removal job, including a large truck for bigger jobs. He came with one other person to help, the team was quick, efficient, very professional, and an honest pleasure to work with. There's a reason this man's on Mt. Rushmore, he's on my list for any future junk/haul/removal jobs for sure, and should be for you too. read more

I needed some demo work done in Sherman Oaks, CA and Abe and his wife came in, knocked out my old kitchen and bathroom in no time with very reasonable pricing and they are nice people to deal with. If you need to save any appliances I suggest you have that removed before any demo work takes place. I would definitely call them again. read more

Set up an appt online and they came right out to my work and loaded up two sizable commercial chest freezers in a matter of minutes. The owner was able to process a credit card on the spot, and email me the receipt for my work records and the whole transaction went off without a hitch. read more

These guys are THE BEST! Had a rush job and they arrived 10 min early before our appt time the next day! They completely transformed our backyard and did an amazing job hauling our stuff away. You won't find a better guy and a cleaner job than Abe. He offers very competitive pricing and is a great guy. I had to demolish my concrete in the backyard but wanted to retain some of it. It posed to be somewhat more challenging since it required a diamond cut and had to be straight. Abe finished the work in a day and also hauled all the debry and trash. read more
