We worked with Kaiky on two projects from our home. The first one was to add insulation to our garage ceiling and the second was to redo our shower/bath in our bathroom. They did a great job for both projects. We loved that they kept their workspace super clean as well. If you're looking for someone to do construction in your home, almost literally anything, they can be able to do it for you at a fair price. read more

We needed a wall demolished in an area of our property that was challenging and had a few companies come out and provide estimates. We went with Cali Shine Construction and are very happy with the results. Unlike other companies that treat customers like another number, Kaiky (owner) was very responsive, punctual and involved during the entire process. He addressed any concerns and provided suggestions on how to proceed with the project. We ran into a small snag during the day that required a second day, but Kaiky assured me everything would be completed as promised and he delivered. The end result was great. He and his crew were careful not to damage any existing structures, thoroughly removed all the debris, and left the work area AND surrounding areas clean and tidy. His solid 5 star rating is deserved and I would definitely hire Cali Shine Construction again for future projects. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! My husband reached out to Cali Shine Construction on Monday morning about concrete removal job and a shed demo that was left undone from an other company. He explained everything that we needed and Kaiky quickly responded and was over in less than a hour to go over an estimate and how he would perform the service. Very professional, detailed and friendly. AMAZING Work from him and his team. He gave me a peace of mind and I finally have my back yard back after a stressful three weeks. Price was very reasonable as well. He provided the best quote and service with the earliest availability compared to any one else and I wish we contacted him sooner for other work. I will definitely be calling them again in the future for our construction needs. Thank you thank you thank you so much Kaiky!! read more

I was in a situation where I needed to close out my business on a very tight timeline, which was honestly pretty stressful at first. Meeting Kaiky turned out to be a real stroke of luck. From the beginning, the communication and explanations were clear and reassuring, which helped ease a lot of my concerns. The pricing was fair and transparent, and the team moved quickly and efficiently without cutting corners. The work followed the agreed scope exactly, and the final cleanup and wrap-up were handled very professionally. The space was left clean and broom-swept, just as promised. Overall, I was very satisfied with the responsiveness, pricing, speed, and attention to detail. I'm grateful for the help during a stressful time and would absolutely recommend Kaiky and the team. read more

Kaiky messaged me a price based on photos I sent, so I scheduled him. When he showed up day of the job, he tripled his price! I took the day off. Complete waste. Cali Shine is unlicensed to perform work as a contractor in California. His truck and trailer are small. Do not recommend. read more

Kaiky and team at CalShine Demo did an awesome job demo-ing my old wooden fence with years of vines grown into it and hauling away. 70+ feet in length. Easy to work with fast and very competitive and fair in price. Team showed up on time and completed the work in about a half a day, where others quoted 2 days. Kaiky supervised the entire time s week as help. They took extra care to protect the surrounding concrete by laying down tarps and had good strategy and techniques to remove in fence install section without damaging surrounding areas. Sadly. This was my worst experience with a construction crew I have ever had. Was hired to demo two rooms. Left wires hanging everywhere that were live. Left a huge mess of drywall dust because nothing was covered though he stated he would hang plastic. Finally broke a pipe out of carelessness and flooded my building avoid at all costs! I just want to acknowledge the owners demeaning comment below. If you notice my review does not mention electrical work (which he left live wires hanging everywhere). I had to pay an electrician to come out and protect my clients from injury so I asked him to pay for it. He did not. Again, he flooded my gym did not cover anything with plastic and left a huge mess. I am a very reasonable person, but this was the worst service I have ever received from a construction crew. There are so many other options out there take one of those. read more

Very responsive. Showed up on time. This was a more "surgical" demolition of a cross beam and column. They wanted to only remove what needed to be removed and made the drywall repair not so bad. Crew cleaned up as much as they could. Got in/out on time. I already have a quote for another project from them. read more

Kaiky was helpful and got the job done. He was on time and finished the job in just five to ten minutes. Thanks for the good work!

Kaiky and his team did an excellent Job demolishing and removing 4 large brick pilasters and digging down 2 ft into solid concrete so that metal posts could be placed for a new pergola. They were very professional, arrived on time and worked hard non stop. Excellent clean up after completing the job. Would highly recommend this company. read more

I would highly recommend this contractor for your next project! Their response to provide an estimate was expeditious and their quote became quite competitive. However, the fact that they showed up on time (even early), and completed the project as scheduled was a breath of fresh air in today's typical construction environment. This project was multiple days, and each day the site was left clean and safe which was very impressive given the scope of work! read more

These guys were great. The demo'd a room for me. They took out the drywall and tile floors. They were very nice and took away all the debris.
