Your quote was $10,000 over my next highest quote, and I got four quotes. I've done four bathrooms and know the process. With materials, your total would have been over $32,000. Again, for a 5x8 basic bathroom, keeping the fixtures in the same place, the cost was exorbitant.

The damage affected the ceiling and a wall in one of our bedrooms. After looking at reviews of businesses that do roof repairs I gave Sebastain a call, left a message and he called me back very quickly. We spoke and he came out that day to look at the problem, I had a proposal that evening and I approved it. The work was completed in 2 days, and his crew was professional and polite. While they were working on the roof, I decided to get a quote on a deck railing replacement that I had been putting off, Sebastain measured the area and I received that quote that night. I accepted the proposal. Both jobs were completed in two days; his crews were professional and polite, and Sebastain stayed in communication with me during the work. I will have him back for additional work on my home and I highly recommend him.

Tom and his company helped us out when our previous contractor dragged their feet on our home remodel. TITA Construction out of Lyndhurst, NJ proved to be responsive, honest, hard working, timely, and professional. Tom is an exceptional GC! He listens to what you want and helps to bring your vision to life. He is also extremely responsive and his crew works hard to get the job done in a timely manner. Based on our conversation it's clear that they both care immensely about their clientele - retained or not. The simple fact that they reached out personally to understand the situation demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction. While there was a missed opportunity in the past, I will absolutely consider them for future projects down the line. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We had a tree severely damage our house and needed extensive repairs. While doing the necessary repairs to the home through insurance we also decided to take the opportunity to remodel our kitchen and dining room areas out of pocket. Magnolia was one of the contractors we brought in for a price quote. The contractor who came out was extremely condescending and belittling - assuming that my wife and I could not afford the cost of the project. On multiple occasions the contractor made unnecessary comments related to the anticipated costs of the remodel - alluding to our assumed inability to afford the scope of the work. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and couldn't be happier with the outcome of the work done. There are plenty of contractors in the market that will deliver a high quality product without thumbing their nose at you or assuming that they're too good for any job. If you want a company that acts like they're elite but only deliver the same outcome as anyone else - look no further - this is a great choice for you. However, I'd suggest you avoid the holier than thou attitude and find someone who will not only get the job done, but also treat you right.

Mike, Joe, Charlie, and their whole crew renovated both bathrooms and converted our sunroom into a space we now can't imagine living without. From the very first estimate to the final walk-through, communication was outstanding. Any question we had (no matter how small), Mike, Joe, or Charlie answered immediately and patiently--always with a smile and total reassurance. They take immense pride in their work, caught details we never would have considered, and offered suggestions that took everything to the next level. They started right on time and finished in under 6 weeks (would've been even quicker if our windows and vanities hadn't been delayed by the suppliers). The craftsmanship is flawless--every time I walk by the sunroom or step into one of the bathrooms I'm still in awe. It's honestly a work of art. By the end we were genuinely sad to see them leave. They'd become part of our daily routine, and saying goodbye felt like saying goodbye to family. We miss having them around! More than five years ago, he was an integral part of renovating our basement into a three-room recording studio for my husband. The type of work involved to get my husband's home business up and running was extensive and Frank was up to the task. He did an amazing job right down to the custom woodwork for the window and floor moldings. A few years later, we hired Frank to renovate our upstairs bedroom. It was in dire need of repair from water damage. Frank picked up the project after we had done the demolition and insulation. He re-framed the closet doorway, moving it over the accommodate our bedroom layout, sheetrocked and spackled everything, and worked with me to come up with a design plan for the custom floor moldings. I can't say enough amazing things about the combination of trims he used to come up with the final "look." I was so pleased after that project and excited to start the next one. Two years after doing our bedroom, he worked with me to remodel my large office. Again, he picked up the project after demolition and insulation, allowing me to save money for custom woodwork. He designed a simple shelf to fit in an existing space. My office is on the second story of a Cape Cod home and has a slanted roof. The bookshelf fits perfectly into that space. We carried over the molding design from the bedroom into the office and wrapped it around the bottom edge of the new bookshelf. It's my favorite room in the house! And right now, we're in the middle of a two-part hallway reconstruction project where the first part skim-coating all the old walls, taking out a closet, making a new closet (including custom shelves), and putting on an appropriate sized door for an eve. I was nervous at first about the idea of skim-coating walls; I really wanted to rip them all out. But Frank managed to convince me that it wasn't necessary and he could do the job well. He brought along Orlando, who works with him occasionally, to help out. Both have done an awesome job. I can't believe how flat these walls are! Smooth like butter! In the Fall, we'll have Frank back to do all the beautiful custom woodwork for both the floor molding and a new railing. Frank and I have already fleshed out the design for that. I really can't say enough great things about working with Frank Clark. He's trustworthy, honest, and above all an amazing woodworker. I highly recommend you check him out for your next home remodeling project.

When they bought the home, it was buried under decades of 1970s "updates" -- dropped ceilings hiding original plaster medallions, paneled walls concealing intricate millwork, and vinyl flooring laid over hardwood that hadn't seen daylight in fifty years. Mario and Karina and their crew approached every layer with the patience and reverence of archaeologists. They knew exactly what to remove and -- just as importantly -- what to preserve. The original crown molding, built-in cabinetry, and wood trim were carefully restored rather than replaced, and where pieces were damaged, they were matched with painstaking period-correct detail. What truly set this team apart was their depth of knowledge. They understood the construction methods of the era, anticipated challenges before opening walls, and communicated clearly throughout. The project stayed on schedule and within budget, a miracle for this house. If you have an older home that deserves to be treated with respect and skill, Perez Home Improvement is simply the best there is.
