Amazing service. They really take care of their customers. Abby B. worked with me from beginning to end making sure I was taken care of.

BUYER BEWARE!!! This year I purchased a 2016 Kia Optima. The same day I drove the car off the lot and turned on the AC a horrible smell was coming through the vents. I shut off the AC called my salesperson the following day asking if I can take the car in something is not right the smell is horrible, after talking with Service he said there is nothing we can do. So I then checked the cabin filter as maybe it neede replaced, while doing so I looked at the manuals in the glove compartment, they were stuck together and moldy, I called the dealership back and they told me it looked fine when they inspected the vehicle. After realizing they were not going to help me, I figured I had to just deal with it. Over time it got worse the car was extremely humid and musty and I started noticing an infestation of roaches coming out of the vents and from under the seats (Disgusting!) Soon enough the car starts hesitating to turn on then would stall out in the middle of the street while I'm driving with my 2 toddlers in the car!! (Unacceptable!!) The last time my vehicle stalled out I took it to Kia as I still had a warranty. They ended up keeping my car for a week and putting me in a Rental. I then got a call from Kia that I had purchased a vehicle that was once FLOODED! They told me my warranty wouldn't cover the repairs. They wanted to Gut my car at MY EXPENSE as there was mold and moisture trapped under all the carpets and mold in the dash! I immediately called Prestige and spoke with the Used Car Sales Manager- his response was to just Trade it in and they'll put me in another car, that they didn't know as they didnt lift the carpets during their inspection of this car they bought at an AUCTION. So 1. He said to Trade it in - meaning they will gladly accept this Flooded vehicle to put back on their lot and make it someone elses problem and 2. JUST BUY A NEW CAR! Of course they would love another sales transaction from this and I can just eat the 35% downpayment I put on this car a few months ago. Ridiculous. Then they go ghost! Stopped answering my calls, never responded to my 20+ messages or voicemails I left them! Finallly got in contact with Phil the General Manager there and he basically said the same thing, Trade it in, blame Car Fax, pointing the finger at everyone else. I asked why didnt you lift the carpets during your Inspection? Same reason I didn't! He said they do Safety checks on their cars..hmm inspection failed as MOLD is definitely a safety hazard. I trusted a name like FORD to sell me a good car! In conclusion no one there will help me. The suggestion from the GENERAL MANAGER- Place a FRAUDULENT CLAIM with your Insurance to fix these issues. So they wipe their hands clean and Im stuck with a 2016 vehicle stalling out, turns on when it feels like, infested with roaches, and the lovely smell of mold coming through my vents when me and my children want to use the A/C. This is unacceptable and if this dealership continues to dodge my calls, I will take Legal Action! read more

I purchased a new 2017 Ford Escape from them, Mike did a great job on finding me the perfect one. They gave me a great price on it and provided 2.49% financing with no money down. PLUS I LOVE THE CAR. I sure will purchase from them again. Best dealership I have ever purchased from. read more

I am so disappointed and and fearful of the safety issues with my Ford Escape 2017. Within the first few months of ownership and the first time I used my cruise control a transmission error light came on and I could not accelerate until I turned the cruise control off. I took my vehicle to Prestige Ford Mt. Dora FL-where I purchased it with 6 miles on it - and was told they could not find anything wrong. The second time I used my cruise control the transmission error happened again, this time I took a photo with my phone. I took it back to Prestige Ford and after they had the vehicle all day and did not call and give me an update, I went to pick it up and THEN they told me they did NOT have a transmission tech and I would have to take my vehicle to Leesburg to another Ford dealership Key Scales. Prestige said they would call Key Scales and set up the appt. to bring my car in. After two days and no response from anyone I finally called Prestige back and then within 30 min. someone called from Key Scales and set up my appt. After taking my car in to Key Scales and getting to work, Key Scales called me within two hours and told me they had found the problem and would get me a car to use while they waited on the part. (a sensor?) Excellent customer service from Key Scales Ford. I mostly only travel to and from work and around town for errands. When taking my vehicle in for regular maintenance I informed the service tech of a significant jolt when putting my vehicle in reverse in the mornings. When I picked up my vehicle that day I was told the service tech "could not duplicate the problem." I said then just because they cannot duplicate it doesn't mean it is not happening. I wanted it documented!! January 20th I traveled to Kissimmee and used my cruise control and this time I was in the passing lane when the transmission error came on and I could not accelerate, many cars behind me and I could not get over to the other lane when I finally turned the cruise control off so that I could accelerate to get away from the traffic. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE!! I know is sounds simple enough to just turn off the cruise control but.... when you are going 70 mph and accelerating to pass another vehicle and BAM you no longer can accelerate it is scary and takes a few seconds to realize what to do and you have passengers in the car that are asking what is going on.... it is quite nerve racking to say the least. Both times this has happened I have explained to the service people that it is after using the cruise control for 30-40 minutes. I took the vehicle back to Prestige Ford on Jan. 17 and asked up front did they have a transmission tech and they said yes. I explained the same thing happened as when Key Scales fixed the sensor before. After waiting a week and no one calling me with an update, I finally called on Friday, Jan. 25 and they said they were not able to find the problem and asked if I gave permission for the tech to take it home so that he could use the cruise control. I gave permission and again, no one called with an update. On Jan.30 I called again to Prestige Ford and asked what was going on and was told that the tech DID NOT take the vehicle home as I was previously told and that he would take it home that day!!!!!!! The service tech did tell me this day that he did start the vehicle in the morning and put it into reverse and there was a major jolt that should not be happening. I emailed Prestige Ford on Monday Feb. 4 NO RESPONSE I called and was directed to the Svc. Mgr.'s voice mail and left a message on Feb. 5 NO RESPONSE. Today is Feb. 8 and I have still have not heard from anyone. I am ready to just give this vehicle back and go somewhere else for a new vehicle that is safe and find a dealership that is customer service oriented. read more

Not a Ford fan, but wifey saw our preferred Toyota RAV4 (I only buy Toyotas) sitting on their lot. Told her to drive it, and she demanded we go back and buy it because the salesman, Mike Carter, was so professional and nice. We did, could not agree on a price - but the whole process was relaxed, no pressure. The manager suggested we look at a NEW Ford Escape. I don't buy new cars as a well kept used car can be a better value. BUT, she took it for a test drive, and that car is extremely impressive (just the base model) and well built. So, we were ready to leave and wound up with a new Ford, instead. It was a fabulous sales experience (thanks, Mike). The finance manager was professional and friendly as well. You have a new fan and we look forward to driving her new Escape, and referring friends to Mike, for a long time. (PS: I sold cars and know what high-pressure selling looks like; this wasn't it, and I am still in shock). read more

We had a terrible experience at Prestige Ford and will never shop there again and tell everyone of our bad experience. They need to learn how to be ethical and satisfy their customers. They sold a used vehicle that needed $3000 in repairs and did not share that at the time of sale. Stay away from this Dealership. read more

Great Customer Service! Love my car. I'm glad I decided to purchase a car from this dealership.

CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE FROM HELL. I was ready to buy a new vehicle. I went onto TrueCar and the Ford website to research my different options and prices I would possibly be paying. I looked around the area at every Ford dealership possible including Gary Yeoman's, AutoNation, and Sun State. I signed up for TrueCar and added what vehicle I wanted. I was contacted by prestige and set up an appointment for the next day. I came in and told the receptionist my name and she set me up with Sergio. Sergio was not the person I had talked to on the phone who said they would be taking care of me but I wasn't to worried about that. So we sat down and I explained what I wanted. We went for a test drive and during the beginning of the test drive it was quiet so I attempted to make small talk. I asked him if he liked being a sales person and he said "it's great." So I asked him if it was weird to drive with people he didn't know and he said " yes" and then he continued to tell me about his fellow sales associates weird experience with a drunk guy that wanted to test drive and was then allowed to drive. It wasn't like they didn't know he was drunk either. He said they could definitely smell it on his breath and he was a little out of it. First, you don't let someone drunk go on a test-drive just so you can make a sale. Second, you don't tell other customers about it. I felt a little uneasy but continued to give them my trust. I believe in giving people a chance. We got back to the dealership and sat down. He sent someone to go do an appraisal of my current vehicle. He came back with a price THOUSANDS over what every other dealership was offering for the same exact vehicle. But nope it didn't end there. He also gave me a trade in value $2,000 under what I was getting everywhere else. So I told him there is no possible way I could do it. So I asked for my current vehicles keys. He said "let me go back and see if I can do better", so he came back with a price $1000 dollars cheaper but only because he "forgot" to add my military discount and customer cash allowance. His manager the came over and talked with me. His manager asked me if I liked the vehicle which I then replied that yes. So the manager told me I should have no problem paying the price they were offering. The price was still thousands over any other dealerships OTD or out the door price. I told him that was still to much. He took me back to a financial manager and I was told that this was the "best" offer I would get from anyone. I knew that wasn't true. It wasn't because of the fees, taxes, or anything like that. It was because they wouldn't lower the sales price to what anyone was offering for the same brand new vehicle and wouldn't offer me what my vehicle was actually worth. So I left not getting what I wanted but was open minded because I knew I could go back to the dealerships that actually treated me right. So I continued to search for my vehicle until I was contacted this morning by Sergio saying it was the end of the month and they wanted to give me a great deal so I told him about what I was getting offered at AutoNation Ford and even gave him the breakdown of their out the door price. He told me " just talked to my manager. We can beat it." He said that when I came in I just needed to bring the the "buyers order form". So I went ahead and texted him a copy of it so he would have it and printed out a copy to bring in. I called my bank, USAA, and told them what was going on and they set me up right away with a check and financing options. I was very excited to finally get a new vehicle. So I went to run errands before I headed over to Prestige. On my way over after my errands I got a text saying "sorry we can't touch that number" which was 6 hours after his last text. 6 hours prior he said his manager said they could beat it? I was right down the road with my check. If you want to be lied to, ripped off, and have the worst car experience ever then this is your place. Prestige Ford you just lost someone who has a lifetime full of car buying ahead of them and someone who was also planning on adding almost $3,000 in add ons there! read more

Well I should have to listen to ppl review and their opinion for reason. I had bad experiences with your prestige ford mount dora, well it's service me right for not listen. Let just say I wasn't impress with the number they offer on the table and how the try confuse me and my fiancé, but they got caught lie and try to put one on us, well guest what me and fiancé didn't fall for their BS sale didn't buy from your dealership.. Now the sale guy was nice at the begin, but I felt for kindness and bs, but I got him on his bs. and I felt misleading and took my kindness for fool... "Sale People" needs to listen, not try to pull one over people and they have not change abit. I understand everyone had their own opinion, and experience, but at the end of the day, you need to know if you are getting a GOOD deal or not. They try to attempt to re-kind from their mistake or bs lie' s. Bottom line ppl need to education themselves before going into a dealership and listen or look at the paper work. I know everyone needs to make money, but lie to your potential customer is not good thing. Don't bs, someone who has experience in the business, that's is where Prestige ford made the mistake. Poor sale.... Take your info from Social Media and Google serious because your business is in Mount dora and everyone know ppl and the word mouth is the key.. Your company has a bad reputation. read more

The Manger called me and she stated to me that she was giving me a complementary call to let me know that she wanted me to wait on my service but I already schedule appointment .! And she was very rude to me I let her know that she was pushing me away and being that how she talk to me as a Manger wow unbelievable ! She also stated to me that you were under staff. the thing is I don't understand why she would call me and get me upset like that when I already had spoke to the appointment lady and had my appointment set up for the 19/ so her giving me a call and getting me flushed and upset and bribe combative with me was very uncomfortable and unnecessary. You really need to Better Your customer service Manger when it comes to Calling your customer that's providing business to your company! Uncanning .! I can't recall her name but I do know that she stated to me that she apart of your new management and you were under staff but she was giving me a courtesy call about my appointment telling Me i would have to wait after I already scheduled appointment.. I just bought a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport trac from them. I had been speaking with Dwayne, their internet sales manager over the phone and online for about a week. We live over 6 hours from their dealership, so I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything that would surprise me when we got there. I asked if all the buttons, switches, lights, and ect were in working order and whether or not there were any interior or exterior scratches or blemishes or whether or not there were any mechanical defects. I asked him to go out and take the vehicle for a drive himself and that I would only deal with him from this point forward. He said everything was in working order, that there were no scratches or blemishes and no mechanical defects. He gave me an out-the-door price as well and spoke about trading in my vehicle, of which I told him I wouldn't take anything less than $2000. We didn't find out until we had already driven down there that the out-the-door price was inaccurate. It included a $1000 deduction for my trade-in, which was completely not agreed upon and didn't even include the $400 for the tag, title, and registration. So we had to pay the extra $1000 out of pocket, since we had already gone through the entire process of securing an exact loan amount with the underwriters at our bank. I thought Florida state law required the dealer handling fee to be included in the advertised price, it was not. When I asked Dwayne about the $599 dealer handling fee, he said it is something all the dealerships in Florida have. Which isn't true, it's completely optional and Prestige Ford and 5 other dealerships like it have the highest dealer handling fees within the state of Florida. Most of them are around $150-$250. After we took it for a test drive, I looked under the vehicle for any signs of leaking and only saw the puddle from the AC (yes, it was only water), and looked under the hood. There was a funny smell of which Dwayne said was only the smell from the engine cleaner they use to clean it up with. Both the engine compartment and undercarriage were spotless. After driving it the 350 miles back home, there were visible marks from leaks from the transfer case, the transmission pan, the oil pan, and from around the manifold of the engine. I took it to a Ford dealership mechanic in town, who told me all of the gaskets needed to be replaced and that the transfer case required a flush if not a rebuild. I contacted Ford Prestige, who told me if I drove it back to their shop they would fix it. However, when I asked them if the repairs would be free or if they would compensate me for the gas for the 700 miles or my lodging while their service shop performed the repairs, they replied it was sold as-is and they have a copy of the document we signed stipulating this. The only thing they care about is your money. They don't care if they sell you a vehicle that is on it's last two legs and you aren't aware of it when they sell it to you. They will claim to be ignorant of any issues and will tell you whatever they need to to get you to purchase the vehicle. So in my opinion, I would steer clear of Prestige Ford in Mount Dora. If they would fraudulently and deceptively sell me a vehicle this way, they will do it to anyone. read more

THIS PLACE SUCKS! VERY UNPROFFESIONAL! & VERY SHADY! I work at a dealrship so I know what to expect, but this was horrible. Drove very far to buy the car then once there they up-ed the price then lowered it then highered it back & forth. Would not provide any kind of warranty on the vehicle not even a 24 hour warranty to know at least I could make it home without the car breaking down. Then after telling us we could buy it they called some1 else to come in & buy it. Obviously they know they sell junk! I noticed a few things wrong with the car but was still willing to buy it but since the other people didn't know anything was wrong with it they screwed them out of a lot more money then they would have gotten from me. So the long drive & the 5 hours there with the back & forth were a complete waste of time. Would never recomend this oversized parking lot to anyone, it's basiclly a buy here pay here. The lot is huge but only has a few cars & there is only a couple salesmen. read more

Spent two days to purchase a used truck. Invested our own money by putting down payment along with countless hours spent printing papers and making phone calls to have the truck two weeks and receive a phone call from the dealership stating that there was an issue with our loan and that we needed to return the truck. They continually called us and made no effort to rectify the situation and even threatened us that if the truck was not returned by a certain day they would report it stolen. They also stated that we could not afford the truck and treated us like second class citizens instead of the hardworking American veterans that we are. I have never been talked to so badly or made to feel the way that I feel now. The sales manager Anthony and the salesman George already made their commission from selling us this truck and now want it back to sell it again. This dealership is a SCAM... DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Now my family and I will be out of a vehicle and our money. read more
