Time wasters who will lie to get your business. Drove well over an hour to get my ideal car just to be told that it just sold as soon as I arrived. They even called to confirm that I was on my way for my scheduled appointment twice and both opportunities failed to mention the vehicle was being sold. Absolutely wasted my time and gas with no real apology or heads up. Don't give your business to liars. read more

I would NEVER send someone to this dealership; many times they try and slide things past you thinking you won't catch on. I bought a 2014 Ford Fusion from Jonathan and Sherry. This car happened to be the owner of Prestige Fords' son. Come to find out through multiple conversations, this car had been wrecked. After going back to this dealership over 20 times (not exaggerating), with different things wrong every visit, they still deny any damages to the car. I obtained a body repair ticket from when Darian was in possession of the car, but being the owners son; nothing had been recorded on Carfax. These people will do whatever it takes to get their commission and not even think twice about you after you leave the lot. read more

Beware!!!!!! I would NEVER go there again. We took our car in paid our bill and the next day the engine light came on. We took it back and were told it would take another $180.00 to fix it. Even worse the guy at the drive up service was RUDE He did not use his mask- just wanting to eat his lunch and get rid of us. Very BAD service!!!!!!!! We bought this car there a year ago-They need to get rid of people like him!!!!!!!! Marsha Castillo read more

Hats off to Joe in auto body. He went above and beyond his job and I respect this. Thanks Joe for your help.

Went to Prestige Ford for a $49.95 oil change was quoted a additional $5 for Synthetic. After waiting 3 hours for a oil change the bill came to over $97. Prestige Ford called and explained that it was a additional $5 per quart. Not an additional $5 per oil change. I understand the miscommunication. read more

This will take a while so please bear with me. I made an appointment online, arrived for the appointment on time and when I said I had an appointment the service adviser looked at me like I had a 3rd eye growing from my forehead. Asked me twice how to spell my name and then informed me he had no record of my appointment. That was Dustin-he was very nice and told he really wanted to fix my problem but couldn't do it that day. I chalked it up to me not being the most computer savvy person on the planet, waited until I had some time off and called the number he gave me. Called this morning, asked for his extension, got a voice mall that said nothing other than "DUSTIN!" I Hung up and called back. This time I asked for the service department, got transferred, then was asked if I needed to schedule an appt. or inquire about a repair underway. I replied, "I need an appt."; person on the line said, "That's me, what do you need done?" I explained I needed my chip key reprogrammed and a spare key made. She quickly said, "You need to talk to parts to see when they can get that key for you-I'll transfer you." Click. I thought that was weird, but whatever. So, I explained my issue again to the parts guy. His reply, " I SHOULD have that one." I thought, well I hope so, it is a Ford and you are a Ford dealership. I was a little worried that he didn't go check-whatever. He transferred me back to the appt. setter. She informed me I needed to talk to a service adviser because programming the key required a technician. I got transferred again. This time Jerry (or Gerry), picks up the phone. No problem sir we can do that today at 3 p.m. I ask how much he says $89.95 for the service and either 39.95 or 59.95 for the extra key, (ouch-but expected). I specifically asked, "Is that all?" His reply, "Yes sir." Arrive at Prestige Ford at the arranged time. After standing in the rain blowing under the cover they have there for about a minute someone asks if they can help me and I inform him I have an appointment for 3 p.m... It's back! That darn 3rd eye on my forehead has reappeared I guess. I give him my name-no good, I spell it-no good. Now I'm thinking maybe it wasn't my fault on the previous appt.! I tell him I spoke to Jerry and he goes, "Oh! Well, Jerry's right there-he'll be right with you," and walks off leaving me in the rain. I stood there outside the little kiosk getting wet for about half a minute and then just stepped inside w/o being asked to avoid the weather-as I was started to get a bit annoyed. Jerry introduced himself and we were off and running! I thought-cool here we go. About 40 minutes later Jerry steps into the waiting room to inform me, "The first key we made isn't working so well. We have to go get another one. It will take about a 1/2 an hour for us to pick it up from Key Scales." I look at him like he's got a 3rd eye because I know Key Scales is at LEAST a 1/2 hour away if not more. I then ask him if he's got a helicopter. After some conversation he agrees that yes, it will be at least an extra hour for them to go get an F-150 key from a dealership 2 towns away. I agree to wait. At 4:42 Jerry walks into the waiting area (I think on his way to the restroom) and informs me, "They're ALMOST DONE... and, well get you wrapped up in a second." I continue to wait. Remember-they are reprogramming a chip and making one new key. At 5:24: "You're all set, the cashier has your bill..." I walk over and am told my bill is $169.97! I inspect the bill and notice a $13.94 "shop charge." The cashier and I discuss that and she seems to agree that, after waiting 2 hours and 15 or so minutes for 2 keys- perhaps that's a bit much... Jerry comes in an informs the charge is customary and that's nothing he can really do about it. I inform Jerry that I will be writing this review and leave. Exactly 2 and 1/2 hours after arriving at Prestige Ford to have a key made, I left as a very unsatisfied FORMER customer. read more

Wish I could give ZERO stars. I have had the absolute worst experience since purchasing my ford truck from this dealership. They are quick to take my 10,000 down payment but will not honor ANY warranty in regards to repairs. I have been battling with the service department for weeks!! I have taken my truck up there for an engine light issue and they didn't do any the for 3 DAYS !!! I called every day for a diagnosis and was told they have t gotten to it after the Third day of not having my vehicle I requested for a service manager to contact me in regards to why my truck has been there for 3 days! I got it back and all they did was an OIL CHANGE THAT WAS STILL INDER MY WARRANTY AND THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR IT!!!! It's now going on week 4 and I still have t gotten a single call back from a supervisor I've been transferred to so many people one named John and not a single person answers. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of service I've received and I will NEVER recommend Ford to anyone in the market for a vehicle. Definitely going to be selling and going elsewhere!!!! read more

Took my car in for an oil change and also had a nail in my tire. Of course, the nail was "too close" to the sidewall to repair, so I bought new tires; they almost needed replacing anyway. After tires installed, I'm told that "you have a problem, your rotors are the wrong size for the car." My reply was "no, it's your problem, because YOU put the rotors on 2 years ago. First they offered a discount; no way, it'll be free because Ford screwed up! Get the new rotors and pads replaced for no charge, which was great and as it should have been no charge and shouldn't have happened to begin with. Two days later and I'm having battery issues. Battery checked out good at Auto Zone, but at 36%, so not charging. Have had to jumpstart the car for the past 3 days, so off to Ford I go tomorrow to argue that one of their mechanics is a crook, because how convenient is it that suddenly my alternator goes out after the above fiasco. Their "contracted mechanics" must get paid by the job as I firmly believe that they tinkered with my car to create this new problem! Can't trust anyone nowadays. read more

I went to their website and filled out a form expressing interest in BUYING A NEW TRUCK and what do you know... I was called by 3 different prestige Ford employees within 12 hours. Brought my F350 Super Duty Turbo Diesel in for recall service on March 10th 2023 (appointment). It took all day to perform the service. Same service was done on a friends truck an only took a little more than an hour. (he waited) It was completed at another dealership. I thought I was done never to return do to the ineptness of the service department. I was contacted on April 13th by Frank from the service department stating the parts were in to do the required recall service I was dumb founded. I told him that they had already completed the work. Frank said I'll call you back . Frank called me back stating the work still needed to be completed even though I have an Invoice stating the work was completed. I took my truck back to Prestige in the morning on April 18th and as of writing this I called an won't have my truck back maybe till April 19th for what is a little over an hour or work. Bought a used f-150 that had a engine light and fuel inlet warning on two days after purchase. The dealership did take care of that issue without hassle and I am thankful for that. However, 3 weeks later the fuel light is back on this time I'm told it's the filler neck that needs replacing at $700. Also had a small oil leak shortly after purchasing that is a oil pan leak needing a $760 plus tax repair. ( I will not pay Prestige to fix the problems, I will give my money to anywhere else) These three items so fast after purchasing demonstrates there was not a complete and thorough inspection before sale. I trusted buying a vehicle from Prestige Ford and did not have the truck inspected by a family mechanic as I would have normally done. There is no certainty that the first fuel inlet warning was fixed, the filler neck could have been the problem since purchase. Ultimately it is my fault for trusting Prestige Ford for my purchase. read more

Horrible experience with these ford transit connects. Constantly taking them in for them to be looked at for clicking for the CV axle to be turned away them stating that the don't hear it. Finally took to Pep Boys and make confirmed that it was cv axle boot that was leaking took it back to ford Then they acknowledge yes indeed on one of the two I brought in and the other one they never looked at. They stated to me that they took pictures for warranty and it would be 3 to 5 days before it came in, that was May 10 . I called on May 16 they said it had not come in yet and they would call me back. Ofcourse no call back and called today May 21 and they stated that theres no ticket for it, never ordered. read more

this place absolutely sucks. i got LIED to, SCAMMED OF MONEY and my service tech was CLUELESS with no idea what he was doing and when asked to speak to a manager no one helped. i brought my 2019 ford mustang gt to be serviced here for 2 issues, the main one being the motor ticking from what im guessing is a bent valve, and the other being an idling issue it has where it randomly shuts off and the rpms go on their own. I had taken it to a ford dealership in saint cloud and they are the reason the car is ticking now. i took it there because it was misfiring, and they figured out it was because of 3 cracked spark plugs. but they told me they didn't get the porcelain or cracked pieces out and they left it in there... so when they started the car you could hear it. the car was not ticking when i brought it there, but came out with a very loud one. anyways I have warranty on everything except bumper to bumper, so my engine is covered. i brought it in to this ford with a check engine light which was the first thing they diagnosed, they told me my intake tube was cracked and my MAF sensor was bad, and told me in order to check the ticking of the motor i HAD to buy these parts for $645 which was not covered by warranty, so i did. then after replacing the parts they told me ford did not want them to tear down the car and i could come pick it back up until they talk more with ford and come to an agreement. so i picked it up and first of all my undertray from my bumper was hanging off... they didn't screw the other side in so i had to take it back for them to take it off, but i thought the parts i had paid $645 would at least have fixed the idling issue, but i was wrong. it was still idling terribly so i texted my advisor and asked if i could bring it back in the next day for them to perform a leak down and compression test, she said absolutely they would do that and to bring it back in. after about 2 weeks of hearing nothing back she tells me they took the valve covers off, checked for a bent valve but didn't see anything so they did an oil change with an additive and the ticking was gone. turned the car in in the lot, let it sit for a minute and the ticking was surely not gone. so i drove it back to my advisor and had the tech who was working on my car come over. he told me the same thing my advisor did and said the noise is normal when it's clearly not. it's way louder than a normal coyote tick. the tick is because of the other ford!!!! the tech didn't even know the different between a gen 2 and 3 mustang.... how do you even have someone who doesn't know the difference between them working on cars???? that's absolutely insane to me. i've just come to find out they didn't even do an oil change on my car and lied about it?!?!? i was told by someone there they didn't even change my oil when i was told they did. what kind of dealership is this? one where you lie to and scam your customers as much as u can? one where you hire service techs who have absolutely no knowledge? TERRIBLE PLACE TERRIBLE PEOPLE DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! read more

I wish I could give them a negative 5 star review, have had nothing but bad experience for years. It all started a few years ago when I bought a 2006 mustang and brought it to them for a 12 point inspection and they told me the car was 100% okay and good to go knowing for sure it at least needed 1 motor mount, but then took it to a private shop and got a laundry list of things wrong with the car, so that was strike one. Went back to them a few years later to get an airbag recall done on the same car. After getting the car back there was significant damage to the paint and now a couple years later after multiple awful encounters at this dealership I wonder if my airbags where even replaced correctly, but then the final straw was a couple of days ago when me and my family wanted to test drive a bronco, now I understand the demand for these cars are crazy right now but they refused to let us test drive the car until we agreed upon a price. How does one expect you to agree on a price of a car without ever driving it? Especially when they're asking 10-20k Over MSRP. If you're in this area and need to go to a fort dealership just take the extra 15 minute drive to Keyscales Ford in Leesburg, worth every extra minute it takes to get there. Wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. read more

I am usually very happy with the service but this time I was very upset with the length of time it took for someone to even acknowledge me when I arrived for my service appointment. After waiting 15 minutes and watching the guy go back and forth from the office and back out someone finally acknowledged me and came to speak to me and get me set up. Someone else pulled up behind me at that point and the person that had ignored me went right over to him. I was extremely upset about this. I had someone waiting for me to go to an appointment we had and we ended up late because of his negligence. When we came back everything went smoothly except they lost my antenna topper but we ended up finding it. And John was extremely helpful with helping me with my navigation system. read more

Had two experiences with Prestige's body shop. I have never been treated so well by a shop and the work they did on my cars was exquisite. They repaired crashed damage on one vehicle and little self-inflicted damage on the other. They completed the work when promised, crash damage repair looks like it came right off the production line. They kept me updated on the progress of the repair. They were friendly, courteous, and professional. Can't ask for anything more than that. read more

Preface: I *despise* shopping (for almost anything) and usually go to the store only to BUY - once my online shopping has been done. We had narrowed the field of potential vehicles that we'd be interested in test-driving to three manufacturers, and made our local dealers help us decide who we DID NOT want to buy from. What I mean is, I'm not a tough sell. It's because I already did my homework and knew what I wanted, what it cost, what type of financing I qualify for, etc. I did EVERYTHING before contacting anyone. All I wanted the local dealers to do was give me an offer that would make me want to spend my money with them and to treat us with respect while there. The GM dealer couldn't even spell the word (respect). The Hyundai dealer never called, e-mailed or texted after I left the dealership (and understood me when I said I was going to make a buying decision within the next two weeks). Even our local Ford dealership managed to "drop the ball" the day we were headed out to finalize a deal. "Shame on them" is all I can say. When it comes to new car shopping, it PAYS to shop around. In our case, with me being in the automotive service industry my whole working career, I "know people" and received their best price quotes, including from Prestige Ford. But price isn't my only motivating factor when making the final decision. One important thing is in how the sales personnel "handle" something that develops unexpectedly, as is what happened while at Prestige. I can't imagine another way they could have presented a more amicable resolution to (the only glitch in the buying process) what was determined to be a misunderstanding. With a great deal of respect they allowed me to decide which choice, no pressure, they admitted the mistake and presented a solution that was acceptable. That is what I call professionalism. It didn't bother us that Prestige Ford beat all other offers we received so it was well worth the hour's drive for us to go there to pick up our new 2018 Ford Edge Titanium. Our buying experience could not have gone any smoother. Jonny Hideroa is VERY knowledgeable about Ford products, and all of his team members went out of their way to help us . We recommend Prestige Ford and would buy there again. read more

If I could write a negative I would. This is the second time I've taken a vehicle in for an oil and change and tire rotation. The first time they didn't tighten the oil filter and I ended up with half my oil on my driveway, this time I had an appointment for 130 they told me they didn't have enough of her of room to get me in after I showed up. So then I asked them what time they would be able to get me in they said 4 o'clock. I called at 3 o'clock and asked if they could get me in they said sure we have three days available so I come in wait for another hour still no work done. I said outside and listen to the technicians every phone call is excuses as to why they can't do this and can do that. We filed a legitimate claim which has been turned down for various bogus reasons. Prestige Ford Mt. Dora, FL If I could give this place -00000 stars I would. I am in tears right now. Where do I start... Bought a car from this place a few months ago and before leaving their detail department was to wash/wax my car. well needless to say, something was sprayed on the hood and the guy couldn't get it off. I was told to bring it back when I have the oil changed and they would take care of everything... Moving forward: It's now time for an oil change. General mgmt. Rich Weigand says he'd take care of the issue. Nice enough! Oil change was at 1:30. 2:30, 3:30...4:30, 5:00 no car! I asked several times if there was a problem and finally the guy that took my vehicle in states; Oh, there an electrical issue, we took the battery out to see if that would correct the issue. AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE! I brought my car in for an oil change and for these cons to fix what their worker screwed up. After several hrs. wasted, their GM Weigand and Johnathan (The owners' son) tells me to take my car and go because these issues are covered under my warranty. Oh, and that this issue could have happened while driving down the road. I wasn't allowed a service sheet either which states the services received on 9/8/18. Well Mr. GM, I have not had any lights to come on in my car since it's purchase and now I'm left with an electrical issue that was never a problem in the beginning. I have been looking for some time for an older small truck to tow behind my RV. I found exactly what I was looking for at Prestige Ford. I talked with Rick several times. Told him how interested I was but I could not get there until Saturday after lunch . We live 180 miles away but were ready to buy. We took our license plates with us to drive it home, had financing ready, and were good to go. We left our house at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and drove to Mt. Dora. When we got there, "our" truck was in parking lot with people looking at it. We got out and spoke to salespeople standing in door. They told us the people by the truck had just bought it!. I had walked over to the truck and went to open the door; the new buyer said don't touch it, it's mine. We got back into our car and drove home. When we got in the house, there was a message from Rick. He had called at 10:30 to see if we were coming. And to tell us another salesperson had booked an appointment without him knowing. Great job! If Rick had asked for a deposit, I would have gladly paid it. I took him at his word it would be there for me. P___ poor communication! read more

We recently purchased a vehicle from Prestige Ford for our daughter's first car. At the time of the purchase we were advised that the lowest price for the vehicle was $4800. In a newspaper ad on the following Sunday, the vehicle was offed for $3988. This was a large color advertisement with pictures and obviously must have been prepared well in advance of our purchase. General Manager Mizell Campbell has refused refunded the difference. I consider this a gross miss-representation of the vehicle price. read more
