I have been visiting Prestige Car Wash for a few years now. I felt I needed to update my review after my most recent visit. Unfortunately, ownership here changed and has impacted the quality and pricing of the washes. Pricing has increased a bit, but quality has dropped a lot. While it didn't take as long as usual during my latest visit, the quality of the wash just wasn't what it used to be. There were streaks on the glass, no interior glass cleaning had been done, and obvious dirt spots were left throughout the interior and all over the exterior. For a nearly $50 car wash. I expect better. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Prestige. They still do the job, but not in a 4- or 5-star capacity. Too bad! I'll have to find a new spot to get the car washed. read more

Prestige Car Wash - Wash Menu July 2026 - Car Wash Near Me - Carson City, Nevada

I recently brought my brand new Ford Bronco to Prestige Car Wash and unfortunately left very disappointed. I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew, but since the change in ownership and staff, the quality seems to have declined significantly. When I was told the vehicle was "finished," I did a quick walk-around and immediately noticed multiple areas with dripping water and visible water spots because the vehicle hadn't been properly dried. I pointed these out several times, but the employee repeatedly tried to move on before the issues were fully addressed. Unfortunately, because the Bronco was parked under a shade tree, even more missed details became obvious once I got home -- additional water spotting along the body and door panels, plus bug splatter still left on the windshield. For a $65.28 wash after the added credit card processing fee, I expected a much higher level of attention to detail. What used to feel like a thorough, quality service now felt rushed and careless. Between the higher prices and noticeable drop in quality, this will likely be my last visit, and I can no longer confidently recommend them to friends or colleagues. read more

Stopped in here for a detail while in town. Really great customer service! They are under new ownership and family owned. They left my vehicle feeling super clean for a great price. Be advised this is not a drive through quick touch-less wash these folks are putting in their time to ensure a quality product. Highly recommend. read more

Took my 2009 BMW in for a full detail for $400. When I got it back, couldn't get the seat belt adjusted to not cut into my neck no matter how I readjusted the seat. Had it parked outside in the sun and when I checked the seat belt buckle, noticed Gorilla glue running down both sides, and held by zip ties. Since no one has had access to my car since the detail, I took it back to Prestige. I was told couldn't have been them as their people are told to write up a report for anything done wrong, and since detail was a month ago, they are not responsible. Expensive detail as now I will need to pay additional $600 to replace broken belt. I have been taking my card there for car washes and detailing for years. Last visit for detailing. read more

Owner was very attentive. I called ahead. They were ready for me and provided superb full service hand wash. Could not be more pleased

Went into prestige car wash today have been going there for 6+ years paid over $85 for I guess would be a mini detail took an hour to do. I waited that long before my truck comes out and there was a few spots they missed so I pointed them out. The car washing person was extremely rude. Very nasty went up to speak to the owner, which is a lady and I turned around, and this guy is yelling anti-gay slurs at me the owner of the car wash she could hear this. The guy was gonna beat the shit out of me wanted me to swing on him that wasn't happening her and I walked over to my truck and I pointed things out to her. She basically did not care the guy that was yelling at me because of my sexual orientation. She wouldn't even get them or ask him to leave the property because I guess they need the money that bad that it doesn't matter what someone says to someone what would happen if I was black what do you called me the N-word? She probably would've said it was OK like I said. I've been going there for 6+ years I will never go back to that car wash ever again. I will not recommend this car wash to anyone. The prices have gone up. Their quality of work has gone in the toilet, which is sad because before a couple years ago, it was running really well now I'll be going to buggy bath and Reno, but it's worth it. read more

I always get a good result from this car washing company. They are meticulous in detail and the price is right.

Prestige Car Wash is under new ownership and the difference shows. The owners are so friendly and really care about their customers. Ashley walked me through the options and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. They offer packages from a basic wash to full detailing all for reasonable prices, and whichever I choose my car always comes out sparkling. It can be busy, especially in the mornings, but that just shows how many people trust them. The updates make the wait more comfortable too. Inside is air conditioned with vending machines and tables, and outside there are padded benches and a covered sitting area. With Dutch Bros, Yogurt Beach, and Mills Park nearby, the time goes by quickly. My dog sheds and slobbers all over my car, but when they finish with it you would never know. Friendly staff, happy employees, and owners who care. I would not take my car anywhere else. read more

I go here because they actually clean my truck. Not just soap, blast, and pray. The drive thrus are cheap and fast, but they miss half the dirt and leave streaks like it is an optional step. These guys hit every panel, the mirrors, the wheels, the tailgate, and all the grimy spots the cheap places pretend do not exist. My truck comes out squared away and looking sharp, which is why I keep coming back. read more

Really bad service. The wait was longer than expected and nobody ever came out to say anything. People who were there after me were getting helped before. Owners are extremely rude and passive aggressive, and it's honestly a huge waste of time and money. I'd go somewhere else read more

Got our car washed inside and out and we were happy! Definitely wasn't a detail but for being a car wash I think our quality of service was appropriate for the cost. It was quick and had good results. We will be back! read more

They did an amazing job! I did the mini detail and am very happy with how it turned out. I wish i had the before picture. They brought the interior back to life! Good quality. Very good prices. Very god attention to detail. Lot of different options. The only complaint is that it was super busy and I waited around an hour. But they did a great job on the interior and exterior for $45 and I'd pay over $100 for the same in Los Angeles. read more

If you're in Carson City and need a good car wash, this is your place. Driving a Tesla and having it ceramic coated, I'm very particular on where to get my car washed. I did a little research and found Prestige Car Wash! Service was very friendly from the moment I got there. I was greeted immediately and I was only doing an exterior wash. I wanted to get the snow, dirt and soot off my car. You pull your vehicle up to the tunnel where they proceed to wash it off with high pressure washer. A person then gets a brush and will scrub the areas in the car like front end, rims etc where dirt and grime build up. The car then goes into the tunnel where cloth bushes gently wash your car. It goes though the cycle rinses and is dried with air. As you exit the tunnel, employees then hand dry remaining areas of the car and wipe down door sills. The vehicle is then inspected prior to calling owner when it's finished. I must say I was impressed with the wash and service. The friendliness of the staff and great job cleaning my car made it look new again! Price was reasonable, there are many options for washes, interior service etc. I was also surprised to learn a 48 hour rain check! I highly recommend coming here to get your car washed read more

Initially, I was not happy. I paid for the $45 wash with $10 tip and expected a lot more. Mats were left wet, windows were streaked, spots were left on the sunroof inside and out, and cup holders/console were not wiped down. I was willing to wait over an hour (which I did) and pay a much higher price than a drive-thru car wash. I left disappointed, but returned soon after, and the owner made it right! I do my best to support small business owners and sincerely appreciate the extra effort Joseph made. I appreciate the son's passion for his trade and am glad I returned. They were more than willing to make it right, even though my husband said I'd ask for a refund after paying that much! (Which they do not do) 4 Stars for Customer Service!!! read more

My car was in need indeed! I usually keep a clean car, not immaculate but no trash, dirty windows etc. Well other things have had more priority for last last year or so. The job of getting the ride to where I like it was too big for me this time. Enter Prestige car wash. This has been my go-to place for as long as I can remember, my brother even used to work here. I was not aware that there was new ownership of my go-to, but then again, I'm not aware of a lot of things. First thing I notice, a menu! I did not have to get out of my car to see my choices, and choose. This extremely helpful person warmly greets me at my, wait for it.....car window! I had already made up my mind on what I was going with, so I took this opportunity to introduce myself, and she did likewise, Ashley, and let me know that as of the last 10 months, Ashley and her partner are the new owners. Very exciting news, as I run a locally owned shop and prefer to do business with local owners. Needless to say, the prices had changed quite a bit since the last time I had used a pro car washer, I used to take care of it myself. I am pleased to say, worth every penny AND the tip! Ashley and her crew not only did an excellent job on my car, and every car I watched while I waited, but she even beat the time she quoted me by almost ten minutes! Between the greeting, the professionalism, the price and the time frame, Prestige has managed to keep this customer for as long as I reside in the CC, and I will be using them any time my shop has needs as well. Money well spent, time spent even better! Thank you Prestige, I love my car again!!! read more

They did an excellent job. I'm so impressed at how many people they had come through to hand dry the truck. I would say 5 or 6, including one detailer who made sure mirrors and windows were clean. One hard working gal manned the area ahead of the auto washer. She pressured wash and used a firm brush to knock off the caked on dirt. Once we proceeded through the car wash, an entourage of staff swooped in to hand dry. They were all smiling and very friendly. We will be back! Thanks you!! read more

Prestige Car Wash detailed our 2002 Ford F-250 diesel pick up truck with such care and attention to detail. With over 200,000 miles and more than 20 years of built-up of dirt and grime, it was in need of some serious attention. After their thorough inspection and meticulous work, we were truly impressed by how they brought the old truck back to life. It not only shines like new, but the added layer of protection gives us confidence that it's ready for the road ahead. Their extra effort was greatly appreciated and we will be a returning customer. read more

New Ownership! Prestige is under new ownership with Ashley and Brennan. I was looking for a quality detail of the exterior and interior of my car that I had neglected for too long. Stephen provided the MOST amazing detail I've ever received for any of my cars for an incredible price. I have a dog that sheds a great deal and there was hair everywhere. When I returned to pick up my car, I honestly felt like I was taking the car off the lot after buying it. It was SO clean inside and out. Every dog hair was gone! I was THOROUGHLY impressed! read more

When will I ever learn that this place just can not do a good job? $30 bucks for outside $15 for inside. The back was not vacuumed, backseats were not wiped down as noticeable dirt was on the head rest and behind front seat. Water spots on the mirrors. I have not looked it all over yet due to being busy, but darn. I know I have a responsibility to look it over before I leave, but they were closing and in a rush. This is the third time over several years that I have tried this place and each time they do a poor job. Why did I tip them so much?!?! No more!! When will Carson City get a decent car wash? I have lived here for many years and only MelvinsII was worth anything. Guess I will be going to MelvinsI in Minden to get a decent car wash. read more

New ownership and they are incredible! I took my 13 year old deep blue Subaru into Prestige to see what they thought. I had considered repainting the car but the cost was outrageous. They went through options with me and explained what each would do. No high pressure sales and they were very personable. I chose options that were within my price range. When I picked up my car, it was amazing!! The color was restored/enhanced and it looked unbelievably new. We have made appointments for the rest of our vehicles and will be doing periodic maintenance on the paint through them. As a side note, I have tried many other detailers in Carson and Reno. None of them were close to the results I got at Prestige! read more

I've been going to Prestige off and on for many years. The service was adequate but not great. I went there this past Friday (9/27/24) and found that it is under new ownership. Brennan is very diligent in his work. I highly recommend Prestige car wash! read more

The crew works as a team and the management have no qualms in wiping down a customer's vehicle. They do an outstanding job every time we've been there-we gladly drive the 45 minutes from our home to have them pamper our cars and trucks. As well, the owner is amazing herself! She too will grab a towel and wipe down a rig when she's not at the register. There's a reason for the occasional line and it's NOT a shortage of help-it's their reputation for doing it right. Well worth the time and money. read more

First time for me at this car wash, first of all the woman who first greeted me I found out later was the owner Ashley. She was terrific friendly, and explained her different packages and about 20 minutes later after I sat down, she comes over to me with a $20 bill. She says the guy vacuuming found and she wanted to give it give it back to me to make sure I got it. I thought that was quite remarkable and so honest of her crew. I was so impressed. I went back to talk to her. That's when I found out she was the owner And I said how impressed I was with her staffs honesty, so I gave the 20 back to her and said please give it to the guy who found it. He probably needs it more than me and I'll tell you her reaction was also remarkable. She was so grateful. I swear she almost started to tear up and. First time back with the new owners, staff was very friendly but I paid $65 for had to finish cleaning my windows and do some vacuum touch ups when I got home. I know I didn't get a full detail but I felt a bit robbed for that price. I'll probably try again to get a better representation read more

Took my truck in yesterday for a wash. I had a broken sprinkler at my house that was shooting directly on my truck for a month before being fixed. Before doing the wash they explained the water spots may have to be removed in another appointment but they would try their best. I had tried removing the spots myself and I think made it worse. Lol. Long story short they worked very hard and my truck looks amazing !! Extremely thankful. And for the price, you can't beat it. Definitely my new go to spot. Thanks !! read more

I was running late to meet somebody in Reno on Monday Wednesday afternoon. I needed to get my car washed and I normally just run it through the auto wash and vacuum it out myself, but due to time constraints, I pulled into prestige to have them do it. I used to wash cars when I was going through college years ago and their premium car wash was like 20 bucks. I was surprised when I saw the rates the prestige offered, but I went ahead and paid it. I was the last card of the day, and I was in a hurry, and I gave them the obligatory Fove dollar tip. It was dark by the time that I got to where I was going but when I took off this morning I looked around the car and I swear that's the cleanest that cars been since I bought it in 2018. A five dollar tip to wash the last car of the day and have it be in that condition was not sufficient. I had to drive back by there today and stick another 20 in the tip jarbecause I was so happy with the service. I get it it's not always like that, but I was just blown away by the service that I received from prestige. read more
