I have been visiting Prestige Car Wash for a few years now. I felt I needed to update my review…read moreafter my most recent visit. Unfortunately, ownership here changed and has impacted the quality and pricing of the washes. Pricing has increased a bit, but quality has dropped a lot. While it didn't take as long as usual during my latest visit, the quality of the wash just wasn't what it used to be. There were streaks on the glass, no interior glass cleaning had been done, and obvious dirt spots were left throughout the interior and all over the exterior. For a nearly $50 car wash. I expect better. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Prestige. They still do the job, but not in a 4- or 5-star capacity. Too bad! I'll have to find a new spot to get the car washed.

I recently brought my brand new Ford Bronco to Prestige Car Wash and unfortunately left very…read moredisappointed. I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew, but since the change in ownership and staff, the quality seems to have declined significantly. When I was told the vehicle was "finished," I did a quick walk-around and immediately noticed multiple areas with dripping water and visible water spots because the vehicle hadn't been properly dried. I pointed these out several times, but the employee repeatedly tried to move on before the issues were fully addressed. Unfortunately, because the Bronco was parked under a shade tree, even more missed details became obvious once I got home -- additional water spotting along the body and door panels, plus bug splatter still left on the windshield. For a $65.28 wash after the added credit card processing fee, I expected a much higher level of attention to detail. What used to feel like a thorough, quality service now felt rushed and careless. Between the higher prices and noticeable drop in quality, this will likely be my last visit, and I can no longer confidently recommend them to friends or colleagues.

I wrote the last review of this Pacific Gasoline station a little less than a year ago, and didn't…read moregive it much thought afterwards. Growing up, my Father and Grandfather owned and operated an APCO station in Estherville, Iowa, hence my tendency to review every gas station I come across. Gasoline is a commodity, so things like price, clean restrooms (as applicable), and convenience are my key interests in what is usually an unremarkable customer experience. Hence, a 3 Star "A-OK" rating is the most common. That's what this Pacific Gasoline Station received then and right now. I have filled up several times since the review, and what I wrote remains true today. So yesterday, I'm attending a Genoa Western Heritage Day event, look at my phone, and see that a comment had been added to my review. I've pasted it in below, and I'll have to say that it's rare to be personally attacked that way for a middle-of-the-road "A-OK" review. Looking at similar (and lower) Yelp reviews, it appears that I'm not the only one in this "owner's" crosshairs, who might not take such realistic comments well. Since this is a self-serve station and he/she isn't normally around to police customer experiences, I'll be sending knowing smiles and optimism his/her way every time I fill up. SMH. "Our business does not cater to the entitlement that you clearly displayed here in your review. Being a customer does not give you a right to patronize businesses because your ego has less than accommodating expectations. All businesses should be vigilant towards narcissistic customers like you. Thank you for saving our customers from the grief you carry around with you by passing on by."
