    Acai Protein Bowl
    Ailun H.

I was craving something light and sweet for lunch, so acai bowls it was. Pressed Juicery was conveniently on Uber Eats, and I haven't tried it before since there aren't any near where I live. ACAI PROTEIN BOWL - 13.95 On Uber Eats, they charge 15.94 for the bowl (so 1.99 up-charge). The bowl was smaller than I thought, but it was still cold and very refreshing by the time it arrived. The acai was mixed with a bunch of whey protein puffs, a whole banana was sliced up neatly, and there were plenty of blueberries, strawberries, and roasted granola. Overall, this was quite filling and it made a light lunch. Each serving supposedly came with 27g of protein, which was what I needed. Overall, Pressed Juicery was a nice and convenient option. It doesn't stand out compared to all the other juice shops in the area, but there wasn't anything wrong with my acai bowl!

I was looking online for juice cleanse options before an upcoming trip and discovered this location / the juice cleanse packages they offer. They had a combination cleanse package of juices and wellness shots that come in an insulated travel bag, that intrigued me. This location has a wide variety of pressed juice flavors along with smoothies and juice shots. Additionally they also sell açaí bowls and soft serve frozen yogurt. I couldn't resist not trying their chocolate almond crunch - the warmed almond butter topping was so good! The location is a typical juice bar set up, with very limited seating, and counter service. The staff was helpful in their product recommendations and they put my fairly large order together really fast.

OVERALL: I had no idea they sold more than just juice! They have acai bowls, ice cream, and protein bowls. FOOD: we got acai bowls and signed up for the rewards membership to get free wellness shots. The acai bowls were good but the ones at Southblock are better. SERVICE: the woman at the register and who made the acai bowls was super kind! She was helpful and efficient. VENUE: small with limited seating but you can always take your drink or food to the logan circle park!

the limited edition lemon blueberry crumble sundae @pressedjuicery missed the mark in my opinion - definitely try one of their other sundaes if you go!

Service is amazing! Maria is an angel. I was having a terrible day and she was kind, sympathetic and helpful in finding the best juice for my mood. The juices are delicious! I had an apple ginger lemon cayenne and a shot of lemon ginger cayenne. Both were fresh and spicy, DELICIOUS! The juice is worth the squeeze. Maria, thank you for making my day!

Vanilla Vegan Soft Serve and Dragonfruit Smoothie Bowl with Almonds, Blueberries, and Strawberries

Literally in LOVE with this spot! I was so impressed by their selection of juices, lemonades, and smoothies, and their smoothie bowls and freezes were absolutely to die for. I'm usually pretty wary of "healthier" vegan ice creams, especially ones that are almond-based, but Pressed blew it out of the water. Their vanilla freeze is perfect for a hot summer day, is naturally sweetened with dates, and comes with three toppings, which helps to add a bit of texture and ~pizazz~ to your overall experience. I've only tried a few of their drinks (Greens 1, Strawberry Basil Lemonade, Mango Turmeric Lemonade), but all of them have been absolutely delicious so far. I visited Pressed during their grand opening event in July, and I was thoroughly impressed by the staff's hospitality and kindness. I was a bit confused about how everything related to the grand opening promotions worked and which juices would be right for me, but the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. The cashier (bless her soul) answered my many questions and walked me through everything that I needed to know. I really appreciated their patience with me as I sampled different items and asked about ingredients, and they were super accommodating of my dietary restrictions and needs. All in all, highly recommend giving Pressed some love, whether it's for juice or for soft-serve or for a smoothie!

Awesome!! My girlfriends and I live on P, and we were waiting for this place to open forever. Today passed on our walk and went inside to find the most friendly staff who were so nice! Got such a good deal too. So excited for this place to be around this summer!! Also the rosé bowl is amazing...trust

Very helpful staff, cute ice parlor vibes and decor..what's not to like! First, I can only indulge in dairy free products so while the selections here were few, the choice that I made was surprisingly shocking-all cashew milk are not enjoyable lol. I ordered the raspberry cheesecake ice cream and honey, after one bite, I thought that I was eating dairy because it was THAT creamy and good! Filled with flavor and delicious to the last drop, I thoroughly enjoyed it on a sugar cone. But here is where I laugh to myself because I sat outside, enjoyed a delicious ice cream and decided to then try a patty lol yes! I ordered one of the curry chicken patty and as a native Island gal, this place knows how to blend their flavors. Those patties were buttery soft and filled with flavor inside-ENJOYED IT! Would I return? YES! I do hope that they expand their vegan flavors but yes yes yes! It's hot in the District, stop by local and enjoy a well deserved treat.

Despite the shop being small they have a large variety of options for you. This includes ice cream, brownies, cookies, pound cakes, ice cream and my all time favorite banana pudding. I even love that they offer single serving banana pudding in the perfect size container so that you can enjoy without over indulging. Check out Here's the Scoop, it's right next to the historical Howard University. You will not be disappointed and may just end up spending $20+ every single time you go because it's that good. They have a great list of unique rotating flavors, and it's always fun to come back to try out their new seasonal releases. A few of my favorites over the years have been their hibiscus sorbet -- a delightful dairy-free addition to their Hispanic Heritage Month flavors that is the perfect balance of tangy and sweet -- the cinnamon cardamom -- a super spiced ice cream that, despite being freezing cold, feels like you're about to drink a warm beverage -- and blueberry sour cream crumble. When I'm feeling less adventurous, they also have a really solid strawberry ice cream that uses real berries (none of that artificial nonsense you see in grocery stores) with a delightful fruity, slightly tangy flavor. There's usually a pretty long line, but it moves quite quickly since they don't allow samples. It's also a small space that gets crowded pretty easily, so I'd recommend taking your ice cream to go and enjoying it as you walk around Mt Pleasant or on the benches just below the entrance to Mount Desert.

One of my favorite things about this shop is their doggy ice cream. My dog absolutely loves it, to the point where he screams if we walk by without stopping. It has become part of our routine, and watching him light up when he gets his own cup makes the stop even better. They also serve an ice cream taco in the winter, and I cannot wait for it to come back. It is fun, a little quirky, and exactly the kind of seasonal special that keeps things interesting. The walk up window is another huge plus. It makes grabbing ice cream with my dog easy and enjoyable, especially on nice days when you just want something quick and tasty. When I stopped by, it was raining heavy, but the walk from the metro was totally worth it. I stepped inside, heard some great R&B jams playing, and I made my way to work that amazing smell was coming from. Along the way, I passed some cute merch -- insulated bags and more. And then there was a freezer with all of their pints, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream cakes. I got up to where the scoops are being served, and there was a very helpful sign next to it with all of the descriptions. I appreciate it the thorough breakdown of what has allergens, what has dairy, and what is vegan. I pretty much tried everything. My favorites were the vegan ones (spiced peanut crunch, tamarind spice), the spiced date cake, saffron pistachio, mangos & cream, black forest... I could keep going. I split a generous scoop of the spiced date cake & saffron pistachio and it was divine. I could've gotten some cool toppings too, but decided not to. It was $8 as is XD. It's definitely a splurge, but a unique flavor profile like this I think it's totally worth it. The pints are $12, which also isn't bad for something this unique imo. I'll be back to get some pints. I've been a few times since opening, and I think it's fine, but it doesn't live up to expectations. I've found the soft serve to be better than the hard ice cream, but it almost has too creamy of a texture. The yogurt soft serve flavor with cardamom was the best thing I've tasted there.
