One of the best press locations in Arizona! Every other location either doesn't have a kitchen or closes their kitchen down early, I don't know if I caught this place on a good day but I was able to get a breakfast burrito and man it was worth it. By far the best breakfast burrito I've ever had which puzzled me because it came From a coffee shop lol. I had a iced vanilla latte and was blown away by it as well! I had a lovely morning working from here! I am obsessed with their chocolate peanut butter shaker and after dropping some goodies off at a business nearby, I had to stop in and get my fix. It was super quiet on a Monday morning and I had plenty of distance from other guests to post up and get a few hours of work done. Their wifi worked great (even during a video call) and the gals working were so friendly. I love that it is near Tempe Town Lake; it has all around soothing vibes. So good! This place makes fantastic lattes. I wish I had a location closer to my home in east Mesa, because I would visit all the time. The only disappointment were the butta cakes (little two bite cake bites). They clearly make large batches and freeze them, which makes sense, except they strongly tasted like the freezer. At $2.50 / cake, it's really not worth it. I didn't finish mine. So, I would recommend avoiding those. Otherwise, the coffee is great and the staff members are friendly. We sit down and she notices a hair on the danish , then they come to me and say we don't have enough Guatemalan code for your pour over are you okay with Sumatran, ‍ I guess. They didn't have another fruit danish so she had to settle for an extra hard scone. I understand things happen but this seemed like really poor management, I over heard the worker tell someone they were out of whole milk is half-half okay, really that should be basic for a coffee bar. I wouldn't have known about this little coffee shop had I not done a search on Yelp. Located at the end of the Skywater Apartment building, the ambiance is serene and contemporary with dark blue tones and wood accents. The menu has a succinct selection of coffee drinks, with chai tea as well, and various types of coffee roasts to choose from at the counter. Milk alternatives here are soy (Extra $.50) and almond milk (Extra $1). Since it was a sunny warm day I went with an almond milk latte and tried some vanilla frappe. The latte was refreshing with smooth, rich flavored espresso with a chocolatey undertone. It was such a nice blend of flavors I only needed a small amount of honey to sweeten the drink. The frappe was also very refreshing, with more of a blended smoothie feel and a good balance of vanilla and coffee flavors. Service at the counter was friendly. The location is a bit out of the ways from where I usually shop or dine, but if I'm in the area I'd definitely get more drinks from here. read more

This Press Coffee location is tucked away in the Skywater Apartments complex across from Tempe Town Lake -- kind of like a hidden secret that happens to also have tons of parking. I stopped in early on a Sunday afternoon and got a Hibiscus Green Tea. The barista informed me that they do free tea refills all day long, so I came back later around 3:30pm to get a refill and a grilled cheese sandwich. I guess they had closed the kitchen early so the grilled cheese was sadly a no-go but the tea refill was good. I would probably stop in again when in the area. read more

Stopped in really quick on my way to work to grab a quick bite and snack for breakfast and had an overall good experience. Tried the mocha shaker and avocado toast Shaker was good but toast could've used more salt or other seasoning. It did seem to take a while for the toast to come out and since I was in a hurry I just asked to check in and the gal said "we can only toast so fast" which I had to laugh at (though I don't think she was trying to be funny). Nothing outstanding here - I'm always disappointed when a cafe doesn't offer a standard iced coffee option. It's either an iced americano or a cold brew as an alternative - and I'm not a fan of either. Service was friendly and timely, but there was nothing that stuck out about the atmosphere. No art or comfortable seating - colors were a standard corporate grey. Music was generic and forgettable. It definitely feels like it was an after thought to the apartment building it is attached to. Many reasons to love this place, but a couple reasons that it is 4 stars. First off, they have AMAZING coffee. Really unique espresso options, and they have great pour over coffees. Try the peanut butter and chocolate almond milk shaker, it's amazing! Next, their food is good. Avocado toast comes in good portions, and they have unique grab and go options lol overnight oats. Lastly, the service is great, and the ambiance is nice and clean. Would be 5 stars because of those reasons, but here is why it's not the case: As a college student: 1. ITS SO EXPENSIVE! Shakers are $5 and the roasts are up to $10! A $16 breakfast is not sustainable for a college student lol. 2. (And the real dagger) There are very limited outlets. Good luck finding a spot where you can charge. Overall, good spot, and worth the checkout, but I think there are some other good coffee places that compete with it! read more

The parking situation is very easy at this location. The store is always packed, but the service has always been fast and attentive. I am a huge fan of an extra 2 shots in my latte for only $.50. Located in the Skywater complex at Town Lake, this little shop is tucked away on the far right side on the 1st floor. There isn't much signage that directs you here from the main road, but they do have stainless steel lettering on their white wall storefront, letters that gleam and are very precisely cut. A plus is that there are several places to park nearby. We came straight from the airport in search of new coffee places with great quality, and we were in luck here. Apparently there's also a Press Coffee location in Scottsdale, but if you're a visitor like me, you didn't know that, and we weren't headed in that direction. I loved everything indoors! They have a lovely blue wall in the back with their logo painted in bold letters. There are metal, square tables with an assortment of black bucket chairs and these absolutely adorable quilted chairs! They have different swatches of fabric all over them. I'd totally want one of those in my house. To top it all off, the AC is spot on. They also have a large wooden table that would be perfect for group activities. I'm getting carried away by their shop that has been so well put together! Let me not forget the good coffee. I got an iced latte, which they only serve in a 16 oz size. They offered a blend of whole and nonfat milk, so I could get "2%" milk. I loved the taste of the espresso but it got kind of lost in all that milk. Next time I'll ask for a double shot. Cav got their cold brew, which wasn't that impressive. There weren't any special flavor notes, but it also didn't have any nasty bitterness. Also they serve it on tap, which is cool. I'd pass on the iced coffee next time though. We tried a sample of the apple cinnamon coffee cake. It was moist, delicious, and flavorful. I'd be down to purchase a pastry next time. They also offer heartier breakfast items like burritos! I appreciate that, especially because it's not necessarily standard coffee shop fare. Then of course they also sell some Chemex and pour over products, as well as their own beans! That way you can have lots of Press Coffee-loving all day, every day! read more

Solid establishment very convenient best advice is not to go on weekends to say there is a huge drop off in customer service when manager is not in is an understatement. The new food items are great the coffee is good but the weekend staff is flat out rude. Especially the short girl with short dark hair and glasses. I started driving up to Starbucks on hardy. Weekend staff told me that maintaining the quality of their product was more important than repeat customers. Starbucks and every other coffee company WILL sell you a black iced coffee apparently Press company policy will not. Update I was contacted by manager shortly after this post that they had changed their policy to serve coffee over ice just recently started going there again I was happy because I live so close and today the new manager wouldn't serve me coffee over ice because the owners had changed their policy again. Do not go here the bottom line is cold brew coffee has higher profit margins so that's why they won't sell you coffee over ice. Again Starbucks is a few blocks up the road skip this place read more

I hope this is just COVID thing or a bad staffing accident. Cold brew was broken, couldn't get drinks on menu. Credit card machine was down, also didn't accept cash. Had to enter in card info several times. Food items weren't what was mentioned on menu. Avocado toast and sprouts literally had only one sprout on each slice. Waited for cashier to take entire line's order before she ever started to make drinks. Couldn't wait long enough to see if she ever made coffees at all.
