One good thing about this location is that they have two parking spaces available for patrons. It is incredibly expensive for what we got but I think that's the typical price in downtown Phoenix. I ordered a decaf espresso over ice because they didn't have decaf coffee. My daughter ordered a chai iced tea and my husband ordered a regular coffee. We also ordered an avocado toast, and avocado toast with bacon and egg, and a breakfast burrito. I would have given them another star, but I think they're about 20-25% too expensive. So I would like to start off with the person working when I came in was very welcoming and nice. Coffee was really good but on Yelp there should be a update removing the pictures of pastries and food. These items were not available and the ones that were could not be heated since there was no oven. I was disappointed that the batista did not tell me they had no way to heat my cheese Danish until after I bought it and had to ask, I still do not want to take away from her politeness and feel it might just be a coaching experience. Came here for breakfast one morning. The place has 2 people in front of me and I waited in line for 10 minutes. I ordered a cold brew with light caramel and an egg and cheese sandwich. The coffee was flavorless and did not have a good flavor profile. The egg sandwich had so much cheese it was not appetizing and it was cold. I ended up tossing the coffee and going to Starbucks and then skipped breakfast and ate a bigger lunch. read more

First time stopping by, I decided to get a iced Matcha w Oat Milk & a Lemon poppy seed muffin. Very open cafe which is nice, and the worker who rung me up had great customer service. While he was making my drink I asked if he could add some vanilla syrup, so I intended that it would be decently sweet... When trying the drink I was instantly disappointed.. it tasted plain w just matcha powder.. sigh... would have been better if I could taste the sweetner. Press is definitely my favorite local go-to for coffee & occasionally a bite to eat. Staff here are always super helpful and so patient. They remember me when I come in and while I come in regularly its not even weekly so it really means something - they notice people. Who does that anymore? Press does. Anyway - coffee is always excellent. I've gotten a lot of crappy food at coffee shops that try to cater to the lingering work crowd. That is absolutely not Press. Their food is . The turkey sprout sandwich is incredible. The Press breakfast burrito . I will say I really really miss the 2 egg breakfast you all had years ago. I'm not a big breakfast person and it was light & healthy & budget friendly. Maybe it could make a reappearance someday? Anyway - go, drink, eat, chill, build community. I dont drink coffee to keep me up but for flavor and taste. I ordered the 8oz latte. It was really nice. Not bitter. There was some distinctive flavors I cant my grasp on what but it was wonderful. The interior here quite modern. But I guess it goes with the surrounding area. Quite crowded in the morning. But what do you expect at a coffee place on a sunday morning. Pretty easy to find. There is free parking close, which is great for downtown. I ordered a hot mocha, a hot chocolate, a bagel, a banana muffin, and a bacon and egg avocado toast. First off, it didn't take long for them to get our drinks and food; that's a plus. My mocha was so delicious. I didn't add anything else to it and it was smooth. The heart on top was a nice top and they did the same for my daughter's hot chocolate, which she was thrilled about. Plus they did it kid's temp so she could drink it immediately. The bagel was filled with cream cheese. That was a surprise and delight to my daughter. The banana muffin was really good and sticky on top to make it more decadent. My avocado toast was delicious! I got a half order snd was satisfied with the size. The bacon and egg on top was just enough protein for me. We will be back! read more

So happy this place is finally open. I rode the light rail from a meeting in the uptown area of central and camelback and it was perfect, the stop is outside their door! I am usually a cortado drinker but Matt one of their managers asked if I wanted to try something different. He offered an Ethiopian pour over I think he said chemx. It was a show from the beginning he walked me through what he was doing and it was so worth it. This was a great single cup by far better than I would have expected. Now I have to choose when I order a drink although I am surprised how many places don't offer this method. Once Matt had me hooked on the pour over he talked foooooood (my second favorite thing) avocado toast he called caprese was unreal with tomatoes mozzarella cheese basil and balsamic glaze was unbelievable. The quality of the coffee. I have never been let down by the bold smooth flavor of the roast and the smooth creaminess of the cream and flavor, if you choose to add that! 2. I am always impress with the impeccable modern, clean, beauty of the store. I am always wowed by the ambiance of the store! Very impressed! I haven't been much of a coffee drinker in recent years, and I will admit that I did not order a coffee when I was here and thus cannot give a rating of their drinks, but I did order a very delicious turkey panini. The price was pretty standard, ~$7, but the sandwich is quite filling. Sometimes, paninis can be a bit dry, but the avocado spread adds flavour and a richer texture. The interior and the space is a clean minimalist style but still comfortable. My only qualm about the space was that the tables were a little too close to each other, and they only sit two. It was a little hard to do work because the chairs were backed up against each other. The table too was pretty small, so it was difficult to arrange everything in a way I needed. There are couches and more comfortable seating near the entrance, but that still did not look like the best place to work. I'd say that this Press is a great place to sit down, have a cup of coffee (or in my case, some sparkling water), eat lunch, and catch up with the friends. The seating makes it difficult as a work or study space. Additionally, the large window faces east, so in the mornings, it can get very bright. read more

This location has the nicest, most professional baristas. Been here twice and my day has been made both times. The pour overs are delicious and are bigger than the standard 12 oz. and come in a 16 oz. serving. I also love that one of the baristas (Chris) suggested a "Miel" which is a latte with vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. It's not too sweet, just enough to complement the espresso. I get mine with oat milk and CANT wait to go back soon with more friends to show them a great quality coffee shop with friendly baristas in Phoenix! read more

I love this location of press! The service is super friendly, the milk is steamed to creamy perfection, and the food is even good! I love that you can get half an avocado toast for around 3$.... Add a runny egg for 1$..... Best, cheap breakfast around. If you wanna step it up, order the feta and bacon avocado toast....so good.
